Vision Express Camberley

The first time I've been to vision express for almost 4 yrs. Since the pandemic came. I tried several optician but I still keep coming back to vision express. It's bit expensive but it's worth very peny. I love my new pair of eye glasses and thats what I want and what I get. The staff are very friendly and accommodating. Highly recommend.

Very professional and Covid safe. We had appointments booked for the whole family. The optician was great, and the optical adviser explained everything in detail regarding frames and lens options.

Appallingly poor service over a series of visits. First prescription wrong, replacement prescription not much better but persevered with for 12 months. Revisit for new test and new lenses recommended. Asked if new lenses could be put into existing frames and told yes. Waited for four weeks with no contact from shop. When I phoned the assistant told me, after some time finding my details, that lenses were ready.
Went to shop where an assistant whilst pleasant didn't initially understand why I was there despite my giving him my paperwork and began to tell me that I would have to have an eye examination before lenses would be recommended.
When I explained that the lenses were at the laboratory I was then told for the first time that my glasses would have to be sent to the lab for the lenses to be fitted. So what was I to do without my glasses?? I didn't have a spare pair. I wanted the new lenses in my existing frames to avoid the cost of a new set of frames as the existing are less than two years old and were costly when purchased

I declined the offer and I'm presently waiting for a call to say that my glasses are available at the shop but am not expecting to see them for at least 4 days. Once I've collected them I will have no intention of ever visiting Vision Express again. This epistle dictated to my wife for her to write for me.

A clean environment with friendly staff, I was really impressed with the explanation of the results from my eye test.

It was awful it was not covid safe nothing cleaned tests done in small enclosed area with 3 staff no social distancing called in straight after someone else for eye test so nothing could been cleaned or sanitised over one and half hour in there and eyer test not completed A disgrace and will not be returning

Recent visit, have moved out the area but went back to the Camberley branch as they have always been very good, informative, efficient, explain what they are doing and very helpful.

Staff were very helpful as always and eye test was thorough. However the increase in cost to fit new lenses of 67.00, above the cost of the lens, seems to be extortionate. In future I will be having my eye tests done here but will then be taking the prescription away and shopping around, which I have never done before.

Very good service for contact lenses, friendly helpful staff

I had a regular eye test appointment. The Optometrist was very professional. And that is why I have given 3 stars. There was a slight change in my glasses and when asked whether I would like to change them, I said no and she was okay with my reply. Then she said that she will hand me over to a member of staff who would clean and polish. Nothing if that sort happened. He just handed me a piece of paper and told me that I could go. I have had much better customer experience with other opticians in Camberley. I will take my custom to them in future.

Great service, covid safe and the lady who does the eye tests and check ups is very friendly and efficient.
