Friendly helpful staff, able to see my dog at short notice.
Observing COVID-19 rules to make owners and staff safe.
Examination carried out by the staff in a separate area after a handover of symptoms and concerns for your animal. Great vets who seem to care about both animal and owner!

Superb vetenary practice!

The cat's eye was literally popping out of its head. We assumed she'd lose it, but after a good consultation and an experienced and pragmatic approach you wouldn't know she'd ever had anything wrong with her...!!!

Will never take my pets to this vet! Took my french bulldog in because he had an ulcer in his eye and the lady that worked there didnt offer antibiotics nothing just wanted to take the eye out said it was to badly infected. So i decided to take my dog to a different vet and thay offered him antibiotics to which hes been on the last couple of days, taken him for a further appointment and thay happy with the results! The eye is going back to normal. Now if i had listened to the lady in usk vets my dog would have lost one eye! Poor service!! If u take your pet to this vet and u get bad news always get a second opinion guys because this vet dont always get it right! Wont be recommending this vet at all..

Although I had to say goodbye to my old friend who had reach the grand age of 32 both the receptionist and the vet made an extremely traumatic event one of compassion, respect and empathy. Not once did I feel that money was paramount genuine concern for both my pony andI was the order of the day. I REALLY CANNOT THANK THEM ENOUGH. I COULD NOT HAVE WISH FOR A MORE FITTING FAREWELL FOR MY MARE. A MONTH ON AND I AM STILL TEARFUL BUT VERY THANKFUL FOR THE SERVICE PROVIDED BY USK VETS. YOU ARE THE VERY BEST THANK YOU!

absolutely fantastic.
with a very poorly dog and 2 week old puppies i called the out of hours vet at 7am. we arranged to meet at the surgery. we were there, with the vet and diagnosed and dog admitted by 7.30am. how could you possibly fault that? she was on the mend, sent home with all the medication needed back home to her puppies by 1pm.
it could have been extremely serious had not the vet been on the ball and immediately knew the course of action to take.
i only have great things to say about all of the staff here. they are amazing. thank you.

Usk Veterinary Centre will have you starve your dog and insist you drop him off before 9am, they will then lock him in a cage all day (even after being told he is never away from me and is never locked up) and do nothing, I only know this because I rang at 4.30pm after not hearing from them all day. I am aware emergencies happen and had I been kept informed would have brought him home and re-booked for another day. They were also willing to give a general after 5pm and still discharge the same day, when my dog had already been stressed all day. I obviously had a few words and went and got Gumby and will be finding a new vets who don't increase an animals stress!! I brought home that day a stressed, thirsty, hungry dog who was also bursting for the loo. This practice sees pound signs and profit margins not a loved animal. I had no phone call the day my dog was under there so called care but had 8 missed calls the next day after I had made a fuss, I will be adding harassment to my RCVS complaint.
