Please be careful of these scammers!

I went to this place only once and the only place who had my email address to let me play. The soonest I gave my email address I have been bombarded with spam emails. I shared this story with a friend who shared the same experience.

Great fun. Negative would be can't bring own food so restrictive to those with dietary requirements like myself

Great place with numerous things including the driving range and mini golf. Not to forget its a good place to just sit and relax with a few drinks

The staff are very grumpy and moody .. I have to wait 40mins for someone to even come and take my order for the food and when I out my hand up to catch the staffs attention they saw my hand up.. they looked at each other and laughed.. which annoyed me even more. Other then that love golf and will recommend it to anyone

Had a wicked night last night, I really wanted to give 5 stars due to the service Razwan at front desk gave us. He was very friendly and helpful. The only downfall was the fact that they closed down our game as it was near closing time. We only had 4 shots left and there were four of us playing. They should allow customers to finish their current game and then shut down everything. I understand people would like to go home after their shift but there's nothing worse than being rushed out of your moneys worth. If I have paid for two games, I expect to complete both games paid for, as that is fair!

I used to do my corporate bookings here but hadn't played TopGolf for a while so 7 of us stopped in for a couple of games it was a Saturday night so it was busy not too unexpected but when we ordered some drinks because I was driving I ordered Coke it came out flat and tasted very syrupy so sent it back they replaced it with lemonade and again it came out flat so that time we gave up we also ordered some food which for the price you would expect to be reasonable but it was underwhelming the chips that came out why lukewarm and it looks like they've come from the bottom of the chip pan All The Small crispy chips and when we brought it up with the food server we was told that she was sorry but we're so busy obviously the quality of the food goes down when TopGolf is busy rather than stay in constant and then there was the men's toilets the floor was soaking wet I'll give Top golf the Jew they put up the little yellow sign saying the floor slippery rather than going and getting a mop and mopping the floor of the P around the urine so all in all a disappointing revisit.

Nice place. Very busy so expect a long wait.....dont be upset thinking you can just rock up and TopGolf have reserved a bay for "your" impending arrival should your whim take you there. Its a business that survives on sales of food and drink and the longer you are there the more you will consume and spend. Its not like they don't have things for you to do whilst you wait......ive done that at club golf ranges and that is very boring!!! Its good for an evening out.....certainly more entertaining than Netflix.

Great place to have fun. But during busy periods the wait for a space can be long, we had to wait 3+ hours for a range. The place does great food but during busy periods its not fair for people to be sitting down and eating, whilst they're playing as people are waiting to play, when they could eat downstairs.

Awful service tell you an hour will make you wait 4

3 hour wait and not told about that when booking the bay on arrival. It's good fun when you're on but it's not worth the wait. Average wait for me has been 2 hours, I've been 7 times but won't go again.

If you want to go Friday or Saturday evening to play golf than prepare your ID to be scanned at the entrance. They say its for security reasons because of this and that...Im saying its for data colection. who knows where they store this data and whos the owner of the servers.anyway its useless because you can go monday morning to start a fight and noone will ever find you because than they not scanning ID :) pointless.

Its good to go to safe place but dont treat golfers like someone who came to drink and fight. Maybe its time to separate disco from driving range? Aww I see. Its about money...

Really good place to go to let off some steam, all in all not an overly expensive especially when compared to other activities.

One dislike that I had, was the rude security guards! accused me of drug use!! Bear in mind I am very anti drugs... for using the bathroom "one too many times" although when you're drinking your gonna need the bathroom ?. So that's why top golf's getting the two star vote.

Other than that I highly recommend it too others.

The food is good. The game I fun. The price is extortionate. But the staff (for the most part) are a gaggle of incompetent, impertinent, ignoramouses!

First when arriving the first thing you see is the TOPGOLF sign on has 2 letters working. Also there was 7 boucers outside playing and the bald one who seemed to be the boss had a young girl link in his arm and she was swearing like anold fish wife. The staff had turned off the tea and coffee machines early and the was no milk shakes after 11pm. They were allmostly sitting around the back chatting. It seems the wage bill needs looking at and the closing time???? Also it seemsbcommon practice to encourage customers to drink and drive. The service is poor and the staff all need to be trained again.

Refused entry due to wearing an Islamic attire

I planned a trip to top golf watford with 13 of my friends and family to have a wonderful day by celebrating Eid. Once we arrived we were requested to provide ID as protocol, thankfully we all had ID confirming our age was above 18, however 2 of my friends were refused entry because they were wearing an Islamic attire. They were refused to enter, and what I found strange was that he still searched the two wearing the Islamic attire, Mr Ross (head of security) said that because we were on private property he has the right to search anyone he feels as he says that form of clothing seems suspicious. We were shocked and outraged by the decision and we felt like we didn't exactly fit in because of how we were being secluded and my friends being expelled based on their clothing. We asked for his name and said we will write a review on the website on what had happened, he didn't seem to care. I shall definitely follow this up with head office.

Very dissapointed in the security team

The wait is ridiculously long, the queue system is an absolute shambles. They only do it like this because it's good for their business to have people waiting around for 2 to 3 hours. But they quote 45 minutes when you ask them.

Had a great time with friends and good snacks but there was a long 2 hour wait to get inside.

Awful experience, extremely rude staff after a long drive they didn't care one bit, do not recommend unless you like to be messed around by arrogant, ignorant staff. DO NOT GO!!!!!!

Make sure you plan to be waiting for at least an hour and a half as it is first come first served - don't expect to turn up and play straight away. There is good food and well stocked bar to keep you happy and a miniature putting course out the front to keep you entertained.

A lovely, modern, well organised facility with its own spacious car park. Whilst I can't claim to be an expert on golf, the range is large and the food and drink are reasonably priced. A good afternoon outing.

Our party was not accepted into the venue due to not having valid ID, although this is policy on Friday and Saturday, there still doesn't seem to be a valid reason for it. What's the worst that could happen playing Golf? Unable to comment on the experience, but the centre was very noisy and the Car Park was

Really poor service and no real interest in getting customers served on timely basis.

Good fun and good food. However the wait times on weekends and even weekdays in the summer can be very very long so be prepared to what a long time. Have been a number of times and is worth visiting for a day out.

Gets too busy, great when short waiting time, last time was a wait of 4hr7mins.

Great place to have fun, price for food and drinks are kinda steep but other than that, good place to have fun and take friends to, not sure if i reccomend families with kids under 12 as it does get a bit wild and loud from other people having fun, more of an adult/teenager environment but if you want to bring your kids, they can try the minigolf course they have which is also fun.

Decent food. Told we should be waiting just over an hour. 2 hours later and we still have 6 places in front of us whilst 3 bays have been empty for 45 minutes. Top venue but poor process

waited two hours before we called it quits, leaving without playing or eating. expected a long wait on the golf as it s a bank holiday so decided to sit down for some food, waited an hour to be seated then eventually took the initiative to ask if we could sit at one of the tables that had been empty for nearly half an hour. when we were seated we were ignored for half an hour when all the workers were stood around doing nothing. noticed another table get sat down about twenty minutes after us, and they got served almost immediately. that s was when we just decided to leave. completely wasted a 40 minute drive down, terrible service everyone seemed completely lazy.

Lovely place. Try nachos there, in less price you will get lots of nachos. At least three people can easily eat it.

I forgot exact name of a hot chocolate shake but it was really delicious too. I think millennium hot chocolate with golden balls, must try that. Please remember, its too heavy. So you can order 1 between 2.

If I could score top golf in Watford no stars I would. The customer service is diabolical, the staff have no interest in their customers, they do not follow up any requests. We arrived at the site around 2pm on a Saturday afternoon, reserved our bay then headed to get something to eat. After sitting waiting for almost half an hour to be asked what we would like to drink, we then had to wait almost another hour to be given them. The food was shoddy, very dry and dreadful portion sizing. For the money you charge, and the service you provide you should be ashamed of your establishment.

Amazing facility with great food and drinks including the best golf I have ever played!

Not so sure why so many negative reviews my experience was a good one. Yes there was a wait to get a bay but it was a Saturday and it was busy. The staff were plentiful and offered help and answered my queries. We waoted about 30 minutes for a bay which we then occupied for 2 hours and even stopped playing so we could have a bite to eat. The food was very nice and not to badly priced. The only complaint I do have is wht isnt there any top golf's further north then I wouldnt have to travel so far.

Arrive early on a saturday was number 39 which was 2 and half 3 hour wait

Great place to take any one for a fun evening.. food was good the drinks are not over priced. Staff really help full and friendly. And I dare you to try the hot wing challenge.

First time visit to TopGolf. Disappointing. Systems were down, which is understandable, so they could only take cash. We had travelled for over an hour to get there, so ask the manager of we could have a quick tour of the facilities. We were told that no one was available, despite the staff there being able to work properly anyway. Diabolical, when you consider your tag line of "good enough is not in our vocabulary". As someone who organises events, I will not be recommending TopGolf.

Arrived at 4.00pm, told it would be 1hr 30min wait. It was 3.00hr wait! Food ok but very expensive. Good fun though.

Should have no stars. Went there for my daughter's birthday. Sat there for half an hour on a dirty , uncleared table. Called staff to come clear it, took a while. Lady came over and started spraying the table and it went in our drinks and More

Great experience and game. Impossible to contact them. I've left my airpods yesterday and called 11 times to ask maybe someone picked them up during cleaning and I'm getting only voicemail...

It gets super busy during the holidays. The carpark gets full quickly. The restaurant is staffed by 3 people who can't manage a space that big. The choices of food are simple and easy but somehow the kitchen still managed to mess up our burgers. Can't recommend for food but the golf side of it is good. Avoid the peak times like weekend afternoons and school holidays.

Get there before 11 and it's two games for the price of one. Bargain family fun!

-During COVID-19-
The staff loves to lecture about social distancing but I don t think they understand what it means the self . Also they now just seem to have one big queue for both upstairs and downstairs so forget picking where you want to play golf. Personally I don t seem to understand what different it makes as one big queue there will be the same amount of people with two smaller queue.

-Normal times-
Before COVID-19 it s a great place to go but you could be waiting up to 5 hours. Last time I went before this outbreak the waiting time was 4 hours! In that time I went to play two games of mini golf else where and drive to a nice restaurant and have a nice meal. So yeah just saying you could go else where and get three times as much!

Love this place, loads of fun and you can have a drink. Be prepared to have to wait for at busy times.

Horrible branch of topgolf prefer chigwell. The big security guard told my mate that he needs to have ID we said we will go get it but in the mean time he could ve put us on the que waiting line. So we come back and been told we have to wait 3 hours or possibly not even go in till young nice lady understood our situation and fast tracked us 10 position forward. But even then we found out later we still had to wait the time as the lady that was serving bay didn t understand we was supposed to be 10 position forward. All of this could ve avoided if that security guard put us in the que.

Efficient queuing system. Friendly staff, nice atmosphere. Driving range is often packed, but worth the wait. Good food too. Never disappointed at TopGolf. The only down-side is how busy it can get.

It's okay, once you actually get in.

It used to be different here and you would be able to arrive and get a game in a flash, but I guess they have driven the business and the place has become much more popular. Especially with the younger crowd on Friday/Saturday nights as the place is like a nightclub!! A little odd for a driving range but hey, whatever brings in the cash.

It's just a shame that they have forgotten about the people who just want to come along as a one off and have a quick game.

Arrived twice lately to be greeted by the extremely young and obnoxious girls on the newly instated "None Shall Pass" desk just inside the entrance, to be told that we had to wait 2 hours for a game. One time on a Sunday afternoon!!

Ok, I thought, fair play.. we didn't book. Phoned up the next day to book a bay and be prepared, only to be told that you can only book if you hold a gold membership -.-

Basically the place is virtually inaccessible to anyone wanting a one off game over the weekend.

Perfect place to visit with some friends and family even if you're not experienced at golf. Very reasonably priced.

Covid visit: clean atmosphere, professional staff, clear signage. Good fun, felt safe. Great for kids to experience a bit of golf, always have clubs available in all sizes/R&L handed etc.

Disgusted with most of the staff members and secuirty team. I also emailed the manager and received a unprofessional reply. Do not recommend Watford topgolf what so ever!!

Didn't answer the phone for 20 minutes, didn't care about that when we got there and told them. Told us it would be a few hours wait, wasn't worth it so we left. This is the second time we have tried to go here and ended up leaving. Will not return. Shame though, looks like a nice place.

Very unprofessional service, decided to grab a quick light lunch Before heading off as the restaurant was empty only 3 other table. After placing are order at 12 we was left waiting In the dark with no communication of a delay in the food, half hour had pasted and we grew concerned as had places to go and no sight of the food, after searching for a waiter they brought it to are attention that there was a event on and should of been informed that there was a wait for food, they advised the food would be out in about 10 minutes, we then got the food 30 minutes later, by this time had been well over hour, all the staff hadn t even shown and concerns about the delay.
Overall they should have had much better customer service, with no communication and organisation of the event was poor, they explained only 3 members of staff was working with is poorly managed as every good management know that preparations should be made. Was made very clear that the organisation doesn t care about its customer and is clear only concerned about saving money. Another money giant putting customer last.

Long wait because it was very busy, but you can track where you are in the queue. Good fun

Nice place. Had to wait some time to be seated. Noticed staff all young. Golfing range was really nice. Good to see they have security gaurds. However they should get them vet properly ,one of them can't walk properly and had his car parked in disabled. Makes you think a disabled security gaurd with jeans. Imagine trouble.

A mix between golf and bowling (in the sense that you hit like gold but points are scored in a manner similar to bowling). Great fun but normally you need to book in advance.

So me and the lads when on a cheeky raz to top golf however they wouldn't let us in because this American geezer was under 18. 0/10 nahhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhh mate.

The golf is secondary , as it seems more like a teenagers hang out .
The management is just out of prep school , there's no social distancing and the place is a poorly co-ordinated disjointed mess .
I hated every minute and THE HOUR LONG QUEUING to get in didn't help .

Great place, staff great, clean and Covid 19 aware, shame about the food

Great fun, go on a weekday though or it will very busy. Would have rated it as 5 but out of the 4 games we had it counted our balls wrong and didn't count a ball which landed in a target twice which is pretty annoying when you're doing well

Met up with some friends, spent a good half of the day there buy one get one free offer, nice staff, fair price and modern venue will definitely go again if nearby.

I like it! Good idea for an alternative day / night out. Lots of different memberships available for if your a frequent / one off attendee, food is good, drinks are good and staff are good. No complaints this end
