I felt this company needed an additional review. PLEASE EXPLORE YOUR OPTIONS BEFORE RENTING WITH THE GUARANTORS. THEY ARE THE FYRE FESTIVAL OF 3RD PARTY SIGNERS ! After leaving my initial review I was contacted by representatives from The Guarantors whom tried to explain to me that we did understand & that they were "not requiring us to do anything" . I explained to the representative that my building stated that we were all good and we would not be giving away another $2,500 to them. Then I received threatening emails stating that we are not required to renew a contract with them and there may be higher fees if we dont pay now. AGAIN PLEASE EXPLORE YOUR OPTIONS. If you have thr money to cover your own rent throughout the year THIS IS NOT THE OPTION FOR YOU.

I want to give this company a better review because when I was moving and needed assistance they were very responsive and made sure I understood the process. I was able to get my apartment and move in quickly without any hiccups. However this past month I ve experienced a financial hardship due to Covid and I ve been reaching out for assistance since October 9 with ZERO RESPONSES. I totally understand I m not the only client however it s been going on three weeks and I haven t heard from them. I feel bad for the main customer service rep who answers the phone because he has informed on multiple occasions that he has forward my emails over to the claims department and a rep would contact you. However I m still waiting. The only person I was able to contact was a Mr. Khan in the Underwriting department who was very polite and understanding of my frustration but was unable to help me because it s not his department. He informed me to send a email with Attention Amber or Dustin in the subject line but once again I haven t heard anything from them. On the other hand I have notice the reps respond to not so flattering reviews on Google. Just the other day I they responded to a frustrated client who posted a bad review four days prior to this one when I ve been calling and emailing since Oct 9 I hoping If a rep sees this review I might be able to get a callback or at least some assistance. It s sad I have to go through these measures just to get a callback.

I tried to work with them and they are really unprofessional they claim to give good prices but when you deliver them the documents they looking for stupid reasons to take the max price from you..

Easiest part of an extremely frustrating time apartment hunting. Quick responses, friendly support team. Absolutely would recommend if the building you're looking at accepts TheGuarantors.

My boyfriend and I had to go through The Guarantors when we rented our first apartment because his credit wasn't great. We needed to be "ensured" by the Guarantors, meaning we pay them a fee of $2,500. For over a year neither my boyfriend nor I have heard anything from the Guarantors or received a single email from them. We hav paid our own rent in FULL and ON TIME every month. This means we are just at a lost of $2,500 paid to the Guarantors. After one year of no communication what so ever the Guarantors then sent us an email about renewing our lease and needing to pay them another $2,500 being that its "usually required". I commend them on the scam they are operating. Certainly would NOT recommend this company. FIND ANOTHER OPTION OFR SEARCH HIGH AND LOW FOR A 3RD PARTY SIGNATURE.

The Guarantors are an exceptional team here to assist those in need of assistance. I applied and was approved within 24hrs. This has been totally life changing when I thought there was no hope. Thank you so much you are truly a blessing in my life.

I am so happy I found The Guarantors. Because of my credit score I had not been able to get an apartment of my own or that I really liked and had to settle for over 5 years. I contacted other companies that did the same type of work the Guarantors do but additionally to everything I provided they still would want me show them bank accounts with ridiculous amounts of money and most weren't sensitive to my needs, at least they never showed it. The staff at The Guarantors were so polite obviously eager to help and truly understood my situation. They were informative worked fast and made the experience simple and pleasant. If I can narrow the experience to a few words it would be "LIFE CHANGING"!

I found out on Tuesday that I got approved with the Guarantors and was and am elated!! This program should be provided with all Apartment complexes especially when you don t meet the apartments income requirement when on social security as I am! I have written a letter to Santa myself to make sure he visits you on Christmas Day!! The leasing office gave ma a tour of their beautiful apartment complex and treated me wonderful! They had nothing but wonderful things to say about your company and how your company has made them and me so happy!

Out Standing Customer Services!!! Once you reach out to the team beginning from the Vice President to the Director of the Guarantors , they all make sure to provide the best assistance. The entire team is professional, responsive, and quick. The process of getting my client approved was amazing! With the high traffic rental market in NYC the VP Jesse Schmidt assisted my client after hours and was able get her the ideal home within 30 minutes I truly appreciate the Guarantor for being there for the clients during this tough time. Highly recommend!
