The Woods Campground

We fell for this place almost 3 years ago. The cabin was more than we expected. Be fore we left we bought a camper that was for sale. Last year we sold it and bought another camper one lot away. The pool has a new liner this year and it looks and is fabulous !! The hot tub is hot and the stars are bright just waiting to be viewed . If you are looking for a place to have a very relaxing get away and meet some great guys ITW is the place. From tent camping , RV rental or bring your own RV to luxurious cabins ITW offers it all. It s very private and friendly.

Lots of new upgrades going on, looks like the place to be! Will be definitely visiting again soon!

Went for the day. Great people there. Nice pool. We are planning on taking our camper there for a week. A nice place.

I booked one of the Den cabins during the solar eclipse in August 2017 much in need of a relaxing week away. The overall experience exceeded my expectations. The owners are very friendly guys and seem to invest much time into making continuous improvements to the property. Upon entering my spacious cabin, I felt instantly relaxed. The lighting was set just right, comfortbaly air-conditioned with nice ambient music. Tastefully decorated and fully loaded with everything guests could need. Just bring food and drink and you can prepare most any meal.

All of the guests I met were friendly and unpretentious and made me feel welcomed. Camping is available for all levels from prinitive tent, to "BYO-RV" to their lovely cabins. I highly recommend staying here if you are looking for a relaxing place to run away to.

This has to be one of the worst most run down decrepid places about. The place is putrid. The toilets in the campground had not been cleaned or serviced in years, the main clubhouse was falling apart, the 'popcorn' machine almost made me vomit when we seen it... if i could give negative stars i would. You caan see where many ppl had removed their 5th wheel campers and left junk behind to collapse and rot. This place is nothing short of horrid.
Overpriced, unserviced. The 'views' are of electrical high voltage towers easement and heavy forest area. $65 a night ? What were we thinking. Insane.

I had the pleasure of meeting the owner and a few of the residents. We toured the property and lodgings on foot. The property is beautiful. Gorgeous views, landscapes, and trails with cabins and lodgings neatly nestled into a little piece of paradise. This is a great place to escape from the world and relax. The people here are friendly, genuine, and I enjoyed every second of their company.
