Amazing smoked wings and Alabama White BBQ sauce. Tomato bisque was good. Brisket ragu over grits was delicious and filling. The pork tenderloin sandwich was appropriately huge but also crisp and tender. Great service. Food came out quickly. Good food for the price.

Excellent spot to stop for a bite to eat. Great location in an up and coming area along the cultural trail. They have outdoor seating with a nice view of downtown. Great menu choices, esp. the sandwiches and burgers. The wings are also fantastic. Good selection of local beers and everything at reasonable prices. I've been here many times over the last few years and always enjoy coming back. The owners and wait staff are always friendly as well!

Alyssa was attentive, suggestive and made great cocktails, from the manager to the staff they made us feel welcome and gave great recommendations. The restaurant was clean, stylish and thankfully not too busy so we had great service and loved the Canjun Brisket Fettuccine. The best part was that she overheard that it was my birthday and offered me a birthday sundae before I left. Great night without any complaints! Better than I could have imagined!

I enjoyed my dining experience here during Devour Downtown, but I wasn't blown away. I got a flight of beers, which were good if not a bit pricey. For dinner I had the brisket, which had a good flavor but was a little dry. My girlfriend got the Chicken Diablo Pasta; she thought it was a little spicy, but I enjoyed it. Maybe even liked it better than the brisket, which is not typical.

Dessert was by far the most disappointing part. I had some coconut ice cream that came in a paper cup; girlfriend's sticky toffee pudding was okay, but quite salty.

Have had the pleasure to frequent this establishment on numerous occasions.
The staff is attentive, fun and knowledgeable about their menu. The food is off the charts good, from the best wings i have ever had to tbe sloppy joe platter and everything in between. My favorite restaurant downtown indy, hands down

We visited Ember Urban Eatery at the recommendation of my friend and his parents. We were so pleased with the service. We were promptly welcomed when we walked in and our server Matt was very accommodating. The food was OUTSTANDING. Those wings! I can t get them out of my mind, and don t get me started on the dipping sauce! Amazing! Everyone at our table of four enjoyed their food, from the steak to the Cuban to the baked penne pasta and the breaded tenderloin. I found my new favorite cocktail in their Cool as a Cucumber martini. Soooo smooth and refreshing. Can't wait to come back on a night when I can drink more than two and just Uber home. Rob and Shelley, the owners, were welcoming and friendly and take great pride in their establishment and are very attentive. Truly a great experience!

One of my favorite places...great food (the smoked wings and brisket are features and the black bean burger may be the best in Indy), a good selection of beers, excellent service and friendly staff. Also reasonably quiet - a good place for talk over a meal! Recommended!

Mom and Pop restaurant right in the middle of downtown Indy. The owners are very friendly and personable. Great food, lots of regulars who all knew each other and the staff. If you want to get away from the pretension and just have some good food in a friendly atmosphere, this is the place!

We were visiting for the Pride Weekend and stopped here for dinner. We were pleasantly pleases with the Wings and fries. Now I don't like fries but these were amazing. The server kept trying to get me to eat the mint chocolate brownie but can't hold that against them lol. Go eat and enjoy.

First of all, the kitchen closes somewhat before the advertised closing time of 10pm.

We had wonderful service, and though it wasn't busy at all, extremely fast. My kids (10, 8, 4) were welcomed warmly, even downtown in the late evening where kids aren't ever-present. Classic kids menu items were available for their very picky eating tastes, which is not a given downtown.

The tomato bisque, Texas reuben, baked goat cheese, and fries were all quite good, and the chicken fingers seemed to satisfy two of my kids. The kids mac & cheese was different than one might expect, maybe less salty and more of a white cheese sauce, but good. The pasta was actually cavatappi, which I think is a nicer look and texture than macaroni anyway.

The decor isn't extra fancy, but modern, cozy, and comfortable, with TV's showing multiple channels but not overwhelming the place. The Indy skyline decorative theme works well.

Prices are just a bit higher than I'd like, especially for kids meals with no drinks included, but perhaps par for the course in the downtown area.

Location is fairly close to Colts & Pacers stadiums. Food was good and had some unique selections. Price of food is moderate. Size of location is decent size for a downtown establishment. Service was prompt and good. Parking may be an issue. Also this establishment is not a late evening location. Definitely a place to try out.

A very low key, relaxed atmosphere- definitely casual or business casual attire. Don't let that fool you though. Some of the best food I have eaten in town- hands down. We started with the chicken wings....Let me just stop there, they are insanely good with a delicious smokey flavor (1/2 price on Wednesday's too by way). Best wings I have ever had. Next, I had the Cajun brisket alfredo..Need I say more. whoever thought this up was a genius. The sauce is smokey and robust and the noodles (almost a linguine) were cooked to perfection..Bravo! Our server Matt was fantastic. We will definitely be returning. We were referred to Ember by a friend and what an amazing dining experience. Thank you so much!

Husband and I had just killed 2 hours at Tappers around the corner and was hungry. We came here and was greater by a very nice waiter, quick, and friendly. We sat outside, tables where clean and nice. Had the buffalo chicken sandwhich and Hubby had the brisket bbq sandwhich both of us had fries. The buffallo chicken was on a ciabbata bun which was soft but still held, was so nice as most of the time ciabbata bread is hard. Took a bite of Hubbys brisket sandwhich and it was good too. The fries where cooked perfectly. It's a small place but such good food, its tucked away a bit.

The food was good and the lunch service was fast too. I had their 1/2 lb chicken wings with fries for less than $10. It is way better than anything I can find in the cafeteria at work. My friend and colleague had a sloppy jack with fries. The dressing that came with my order was very flavorful and tasty. I will recommend this place anytime for lunch.

Max took great care of us tonight.
I really enjoyed the chicken wings & fries & my wife had the pasta arrabbiata with chicken. We topped off dinner with the Carmel pecan ball for dessert. Great service, good food, good atmosphere!! You can sit outside in the great weather or catch some great college football on the four screens inside. Good choice here guys, check it out. You should have a great experience like I did this evening.

Had an amazing experience here tonight! Came to grab a bite to eat after visiting the Murat. We were seated immediately and our waitress was very nice and helpful. Our family had the breaded tenderloin sandwich, brisket dinner, burger, and the reuban and they were all cooked perfectly and tasted amazing. I highly recommend stopping in for a bite to eat while you are out and about

Ember has done a phenomenal job updating accommodations inside the restaurant to help keep patrons safe. I really appreciate the addition of plastic shields between booths and servers were wearing masks, keeping their distance and making sure all the groups were seated apart from others. I felt safer inside Ember than I have at other outdoor eateries.

Despite the distance, our service was still spectacular, very friendly and prompt. And our food was delicious as always. My Southwest salad with grilled chicken was fresh, flavorful and a good portion for dinner. It was a perfect light meal that I followed with a quaalude martini and bread pudding for dessert. The cocktail was dangerously good, so rich and decadent it was more like a milkshake than a martini. And the bread pudding was perfectly sweet, warm and gooey.

My family (myself, husband, & two sons) ate here this evening & it was fantastic! The brisket was superb as were the wings. Jake took great care of us & was very helpful in making food choices. We will definitely make a stop the next time we're in Indianapolis or even just passing through.

I sat outside with a few friends for dinner. The waiter was fantastic. Patient, as we were slow to order, and has lots of great food recommendations. Food was good and moderately priced. Outside seating has a nice view towards downtown. Just north of a redline stop.

I usually dont write reviews after a first visit but this place deserves praise! Our family chose to meet here because it had a small parking lot out front, and I went in with no expectations. Our waiter was fantastic and took very good care of us, he made great suggestions too.

We had their wings for an appetizers per his suggestion and they blew me away. Didn't even need sauce, they were perfectly crisp on the outside and flavorful all on their own. I then had the Cajun brisket pasta because it sounded interesting, and the flavor was nice, although I personally prefer a little more spice in things. My Moscow mule was delicious. There was so much to choose from on the menu, definitely something for everyone.

I loved the quiet atmosphere we experienced on a Saturday night and the great food and service. We will definitely be returning.
