The Adelson Campus

An amazing school full of kindness, individualized learning, small class sizes, caring teachers, professional administration, and the safest faculty in Las Vegas. I also love the strict drug free policy with drug testing of high school students and faculty. My son loves going to school and loves his teachers.

Beautiful campus, but the head of school struck me as unhappy person, antagonistic and with no qualms about contorting her face in disapproval when she disagreed with my views of education, failing to ask me for any clarification--just instant disapproval. While the head of the middle school was more friendly, talking with him was an exercise in patriarchy. I was surprised to learn that he does not have an advanced degree, and that the middle school is trying to raise reading skills and scores, but with no clear plan yet on how to do it. The few teachers I met seemed like earnest people, but perhaps they are hamstrung by the director's lack of experience.

My daughter has been at The Adelson Educational Campus for 6 years now and I will say that it has been a wonderful experience. This school is nurturing and has been attentive to the child at every stage of early development in education and social skills. Mr. Sheldon Adelson, his wife, his son-in-law are also actively involved in the school which makes a huge difference. It is a multi-racial and non-denominational school for those that think that every student here has to be of Jewish faith. It is very accommodating of all faiths.

I'm from China. I studied at this school as an exchange student from USAreadystudy last month. I really have fun there and I love this school very much!! I really miss my teacher Mr.Carl, Ms.Bruni, Ms.Kay and my friends Ariel, Sydney, Josh, Maya...and also my host family Egbert's. I love you all and really hope to see you again!!!!
