Came to Tech Depot for the second time and again had the same positive experience. Decent people with great experience. Both times solved problems of corrupt BIOS, WiFi issues and damaged hard drive with 100% success.
Worth the drive from Toronto.
Will definitely come again.

Gave my iPhone 5S to fix my broken screen. They change screen and the home button so now the Touch ID doesn't work. On top of that the guy over there, accusing me with everything he can think of. The guy rises his voice and doesn't want to hear what your are saying. total Scam!!! don't take any electronics or don't buy anything. Waste of time and money. Terrible customer service.

We purchased 2 (open box) iPads for our little granddaughters back in June. We were helped by the owner who was very honest, knowledgeable and courteous. He advised us on which models to purchase to meet our needs but didn't try to sell us anything beyond those needs. Social distancing and Covid regulations were in place and were met to our comfort and satisfaction. The iPads were, and still are, a big hit and work wonderfully. Will definitely shop at Tech Depot again....it was worth the 45 minute drive.

not easy to find this tech depot inc york regional road 7. it took me 1 hour just go around, Uturn... between hwy 427 to kipling on hwy 7

I like the staff who work I tech depot nice, honest, and give you what you want and need. Just a few weeks ago I got ASUS Zphone4 brand new at a great price.

Saw an ad on kijiji. Ad says "BRAND NEW SEALED IPHONE 7 Plus 128GB JET BLACK IN THE BOX FACTORY UNLOCKED $1039 with apple warranty"

Call to confirm they have. They do.

Show up. Deal is pay cash only to get this "kijiji only" deal.

I offered $850 cash, rest on debit. He calls to talk to his boss check and is told cash only, he wants to make $20 off this "deal" and does not want to pay the debit charges on the machine.

Alright then name your price on debit?

Can't do that. I'm told it's actually a cash deal only now, and was not stated in this ad or mentioned when I called.

I offered to pay the 2.5 percent for his "cost of doing business" on the debit machine. No go.

I would not recommend using this company. Sales guy was pleasant to deal with, business ethics arnt quite there in my opinion. And at the end it made me question the shadiness of the whole program. At the end of the day, they could have made $100 off this deal and I'd be ok with that. I have the money, just needed the Phone. I'm happy the deal did not close, would have been left wondering what if something happens...even with claims of apple care already on. Ya that's a whole nother deal talking about that. Seemed pretty sketchy if it had or didn't have. If it started already or when I purchased. And I was told I will get receipt for factory warranty, but he could not corfirm the apple care. I don't readers.....

Please choose another store to deal with, from business large owner to this business...you can find a more comfortable place to do large transactions.

This is an honest review. I inflated nothing. I didn't make anything up. Take their response how you like if they choose to reply. I've got nothing to hide, so I've said it as it happened.

Great experience with Tech depot. Bought a phone and laptop a couple of years ago from here. Ahmad the owner was extremely helpful and professional. The service and price was so good that I went back when my husband and I needed new phones. We just bought our new phones, and once again, the value and service we got from him was great. I went to best buy for repair. Was sent over by the geek squad. The manager was extremely professional and knowledgeable about our issue. Repairs were done effectively in short amount of time, highly recommended!

I had hardware issues with my Macbook Pro and I brought it in to get it checked out. The staff was extremely helpful and up front about what my options were. They got it fixed very quickly and were great about giving me updates on the status of the reparations.
Unfortunately I ended up having software issues that weren t covered under warranty just a week after getting it fixed. They were very generous since I had just gotten it fixed and this time they repaired it free of charge.
Definitely a great place to go if you are having laptop trouble and are looking for someone to take great care and be up front about your options.

Knowledgeable staff services were are a bit overpriced but if you re in a pinch you can rely on these guys to get the job done.

Got my Lenovo desktop repaired cause it had a faulty hard drive. These guys charged me to back up all my files from the old hardrive. Turns out nothing was backed up and I still got charged and now the shopkeeper won't refund my money either.
Horrible customer service... horrible technician..stay away save your time. Not only I lost all my data I also had to pay for service I never got.

*over charge * They up sell majority of their items that they sell. You need to understand a good handful of various prices of items and quality in the tech industry before you go into the store because they charge you much more then 9/10 times of other stores around would. For example; a simple Ethernet cable in the store about 100ft $25.99 but it was not branded. When you go to factory direct which is about two streets down you can get for way cheaper. Once we compared other items to what they sold he was out shunned and surprised . Dont let small stores like this take advantage of you re money and simply go for better and branded :) do your research . They also claimed to give us employee price yet that made little difference too. Even their USB s are ridiculous.

I bought an iPhone XR when I was here last time and great customer service as well as quality product I ve been a customer for years. Just came in today and bought my brand new gaming monitor they helped me out with due to mine breaking gave me a great deal !! Highly recommend !!

Had an issue with my 15" macbook, not charging,, Got it looked at and diagnosed for free, and got it reset & up and running,,, i'm happy :)
Also bought a new adapter for it for a great price.

I have used Tech Depot many times over the years. Good customer service, affordable prices, and fast service. What more can we ask for when it comes to computer service and parts. I highly recommend this store.

SCAM SCAM SCAM!! I purchased a Samsung Galaxy S5 from Tech Depot Inc, the product did not work to description and the retailer refused to offer the guaranteed warranty stated at purchase. The retailer would not refund my money or service my phone. My service provider Wind Mobile has stated that the phone has hardware or software related problems and to return it to the retailer, I have a signed statement from a manager at Wind Mobile stating that the phone is not operating correctly.

A manager at Tech Depot Inc. claimed that pressing the power and home buttons at the same time would fix the phones connectivity problem but that only takes screen shots. This place is a complete scam and the manager is a fool that will try to scam anyone.

The retailer will not cooperate in any way to resolve this problem.

I now have a case open with TD Canada Trust and The Better Business Bureau.

Do not buy anything from here. They just sell refurbished things that will break down in 3 months. The employees are so fishy and give different prices do different customers. They are so unprofessional!

I purchased an Apple Series 2 Watch from Tech Depot and I'm writing about my experience regarding my purchase.

When I first walked into the store I asked for the watch but it wasn't charged so the man charged it up for me and I was able to use it and decide if it was a financially sound purchase. The problem with these kind of stores is they purchase products from "suppliers", essentially products that have been used, open, defective etc and purchase them at auctions and resell them. That's not the part that bothered me, the part that bothered me is they have 0 refund policy. With a essentially uncharged
apple watch I took the chance of purchasing it in hopes it would work fine (currently it does) but if you need to exchange the product, they have to have one in the same colour, make, size, etc but that's almost impossible if they purchase products at auctions. Highly unlikely they'll have the same product you bought when you come back to return it.

Overall I'm happy with my purchase but I'm intelligent enough to know what questions to ask, how to determine if the product is in good working condition and how to recognize a scam. I would recommend the manager/employees work on their customer service aspect however, if you have a customer coming in to purchase products from you, kindness goes a long way. FUTURE CUSTOMERS: Do your research and know what you're talking about before you come here.

Fair place and reasonable prices. Repaired a phone and tablet with them. They charge half of what best buy does and faster turn around time. Would recomend to anyone looking for decent place for decent price.

I brought my iPad to the Apple store bc the screen wouldn't turn on. The Apple tech told me it was the power supply to the screen that was faulty and said Apple would not fix it.
I brought my iPad to Tech Depot and Ahmed and his team were able to fix my iPad. Ahmed you are amazing!!!! Tech Depot staff is very professional and polite.

The staff at the location were fantastic! I have having problems with my phone and they went above and beyond to get it resolved very quickly as I was leaving town. Their prices are great and customer service is fantastic! I will definitely be back!

Great service and great costs. Tech Depot has always provided me with great products and great service. The manager and employees are very knowledgeable and helpful. it is funny how i came to this store to buy some computer parts that i need to build a new set of computer but when i came here i have seen that their computer parts is ridiculously over price like their logitech keyboard for $45.00 comparable to Canada's computer where their logitech keyboard price is more reliable for $30.00 and $25.00 at walmart. other than this their samsung Solid state drive is worth $150.99 before tax comparable to canada's computer where they sell it for $110.00 (with the exact same model)

Took my gaming pc because my motherboard stopped working they ordered and installed the motherboard for a very good price, also had very good customer service and kept updating me daily on what was done and when it will be finished and ready to pick up.

I bought my desktop computer from you couple.of years ago and you have it upgraded for me and reinstalled my windows .
Thank for repairing my Samsung S6 lcd in the same day service.

They were closing early because of the long week-end Victoria Day Holiday, and they stayed one hour extra in order to repair my Laptop as I need it badly for work on Tuesday morning.

One guy can't locate the store ( BUY A GPS ,, ) it is not their fault (they are on hwy 7 for God's sake)
One guy wants to change their policy and forces them to wholesale him cellphone parts for his own repair (where is the logic there,,)
One guy probably did not get a discount and he labels them ( bad service) most likely he did not get the cost price from them since there are no comments,,

Excellent customer service from the beginning. I got a call back immediately for replying to an add online about putting a MacBook Air on hold. When I came into the store, the technician was patient and kind to me while I was trying to make the best decision for which MacBook Air I would purchase. He was very knowledgeable and explained which MacBook would best suit my needs. I received an excellent deal on the second latest model MacBook Air. It is in good condition and I am happy with the service I received. I would definitely recommend coming here to get your best deals on open box laptops that save you a lot of money compared to the Apple Store.

DO NOT go here! Would NOT recommend to anybody. Replaces your broken electronic parts with more broken and old parts. When I went in there for a laptop fix he replaced by broken laptop screen with another broken laptop screen, and forced me to pay a service fee after I told the owner to just give me my computer the way it was without his faulty replacement. He still charged me a service fee. Worst service ever, unprofessional , WORST experience ever, he didn't even solve my issue because he just simply couldn't fix it with a working screen. NO ONE GO HERE!

Big 1 out of 5 star .

Great service and really good prices, would buy from here again! Got a good price on iPhone for my dad, and a awesome price for my galaxy s5. Bought my computer in for repair before too, was fixed fast and surprisingly enough for much less then though I was going to have to pay. I was even able to nab myself a cheap ps3 for my little brothers birthday. From just a quick look around the store it looks like they have everything and very good prices too.
This store is definitely worth a visit if you need some sort of electronic/digital device or service.
