We stayed in a little cabin with our family. There was no AC, but it cooled down really well with the windows and fans. We had a private hot tub that we loved and we used the pool and huge hot tub at the main building as well. What an incredible location and a wonderful family experience! We used our boat on Cascade Lake right by the resort and used the ski lift to hike around. We LOVED it!!
I love this place! So much to do! Pat at the front desk is amazing! Best service I've ever had! He went above and beyond for us and makes our stay here better then we could ask. Thank you Pat for showing us Tamaracks best kept secrets!
Love Tamarack! I have been coming to Tamarack again recently over the last 5 years for different events or for short stays at the resorts lodge.
This most recent trip was for the Northwest Mountain Challenge. I am excited to see that the resort is starting to thrive after a years of wondering if it was going to make it at all. Thanks for opening up your resort and the lifts for an archery shoot! Can't wait to come back up!
I'm pretty confused about this place. It is beautiful and so is the scenery.
We had a studio RM 218. When we checked in (by Patrick) we headed to our room. It was pretty nice! There was a gas fireplace, a sofa sleeper, king bed, kitchenette, jetted tub, small balcony, and walk in shower.
Something smelled a bit. After investigating it was the coffee pot. It was full of super old coffee and the filter was full of old coffee grounds that had a little mold or something on it. Gross!
We turned on the fireplace. It smelled too. In the drawer was the carbon monoxide alarm. No battery and not plugged in.
Ok, so let's watch some TV. Nope that didn't work either.
I told Patrick about the carbon monoxide alarm. He called maintenance. No one ever came. He also told us how to run the TV.
We go back up, still the TV won't work. An hour later I take the carbon monoxide alarm to Patrick and tell him the TV still won't work. He said he would be technical support and came up. After fiddling with the TV (which was pretty old) somehow the HDMI was unplugged from the back of the TV. (The TV was in a cabinet) He also brought a battery for the carbon monoxide alarm.
The annoying part is you pay $35 a day resort fee and $65 for cleaning. Normally, not a problem but, we had to clean the coffee pot and wipe out the jetted tub. Oh and the pillows were in the dresser! Strange. For a "fancy" place I expected more especially since you pay a cleaning fee and are there to relax.
Patrick was great! He was very friendly and helpful.
We can say we've been there, but honestly I wouldn't stay there again.
This place is great. They got a big head this year and started charging too much, but it's still great. Best Jacuzzi in the world! (In my experience)
The location is beautiful as would be expected. They were struggling with staffing as many are during these challenging times. They have very significant operational issues that just can't be overlooked even with the beauty of the mountains. I would NOT recommend hosting or attending an event at this location until they get their operational issues resolved.
Prior to the stay the reservations were a huge challenge that included mix-ups; overbooking; and unauthorized charges all related to a wedding that was being held there. They charged my elderly mother's credit card $1,612 for a charge that was not related to her room and that they were not authorized to charge. The only authorization she had provided was for a hold for an upcoming reservation that she had approved for $325. She attempted to get the issue resolved; disputed it with her credit card company; & they did then credit back the 1 charge that they had created the issue with. Unfortunately with the error in the processing, she then had a charge that has remained on her card for $1,286. I attempted to assist her with this distressing situation and received extremely impersonal assistance.
In attempting to work through this with the resort it has been a disaster & the last contact they committed to calling me back by the end of the day with information from their finance manager as to how they would resolve. There has been absolutely no further follow-up or contact since that point.
They were very proud that they have booked weddings/events for every 3 days through the end of October as they shared, yet they are unable to assist in resolving a situation that they created by charging a credit card with no authorization to do so. I would not recommend this venue for hosting or attending an event.
Super fun little park with a ton of potential. You can tell that there is a ton of investment in this spot at the moment to make this a year-round destination. Pair this park with Jug mountain bike shuttles and you have a great weekend.
Beautiful resort and lovely location for a wedding. We explored a couple different places here.
Had brunch at the Reserve wild boar schnitzel was incredible.
Visited the osprey lounge and had great drinks.
Great coffee from the little coffee shop inside near the store and reserve.
Lovely wedding venue.
Always a nice place to go and get away. Great restaurants and plenty of activities do do here. Always a good time!
Your amenities are the best! Now I know what to buy! Your shampoo and conditioner is better than any I've bought at a salon, thank you!
