We really enjoyed our stay at the Swisshotel. The facilities are excellent, with one of the best gyms I ve seen at a hotel, spa facilities and lots of good restaurants. The room itself was a bit plain but this was made up for but how comfy the bed was and the excellent bathroom (especially shower). Breakfast was also really good with a brilliant selection of bread (including bread typically found in Switzerland like Laugenbrot and Zopf), although the coffee could definitely be improved and it would be nice to have things like waffles and pancakes made fresh rather than put them in serving containers to go cold and hard. Finally, the staff were absolutely lovely; everyone was incredibly polite and welcoming.
Great Hotel. Spacious rooms and amazing overall facility. We are not 5 star hotel people and enjoyed "playing" in the turnstyle type door with the Swissotel Lima sign above it for pictures. Not sure the top hatted, tuxedo'ed guys at the door thought it was as fun. Food in bar/cafe was EXCELLENT as was the service - we had to leave at 3:15am to catch an early international flight and they provided continental breakfast room service for us before we left since breakfast was included in our stay! Highly recommend this hotel. Don't expect to go out and take pictures of the nifty buildings (covered in ivy and with sculptures in courtyards and etc) as they will not allow it for some reason. We were warned off in many places we tried in the area.
Large, excellently equipped business hotel. The staff are all extremely helpful and polite. The hotel has many restaurants, all of which serve excellent food.
La Locanda, the flagship restaurant, is rated as amongst the very best in Lima make sure you reserve ahead, however! The gourmet deli is also definitely worth a visit.
The pool, spa and gym are possibly the very best equipped I have seen in a hotel, and should not be missed!
Finally, the rooms are spacious, if a little genetically decorated, beds enormous and very comfortable, and the bathroom has the most powerful shower I have had the privilege of using for a very long time. Gilchrist and Soames toiletries, too. Finally, by virtue of its location, the hotel is very quiet indeed.
This is an amazing hotel. It is multi award winning. The staff are exceptional. The food is great. The facilities like spa is award winning too. Stay at this hotel for a true 5 star experience.
A good place but the price is very high for the service.
In the second visit: Very good attention from the reception, attentive to suggestions and requests to enjoy your stay. I stayed for work but with the last visit I am very encouraged to do so in moments of rest and entertainment.
