In January, I went in to the ER with an inflamed gall bladder. They ran blood tests, gave me an ultrasound & a CT Scan, and sent me via ambulance to the Sutter Medical Center in Sacramento for additional tests, (including a MRI) and possible removal of my gall bladder. Before I left the ER, though, the attending ER Physician said the ultrasound and CT Scan had shown a growth (over an inch in size) on my kidney, which was possibly malignant, and that I should go to my Dr. and have him refer me to a high end teaching school, like UC Davis or UCSF. I was referred to UCSF, Interventional Radiology department, and less than 6 weeks later I was all taken care of! UCSF works closely with Sutter Lakeside so that every 3 months Sutter can do the blood tests & CT Scans or MRIs, and they transfer them directly to UCSF, and my doctor there can review them before our video appointment. It saves so much time, travel, stress, and gas to travel to Sutter Lakeside, a 15 minute trip from my home, instead of 2 1/2 hours to San Francisco. The staff, nurses, techs, and doctors are professional, caring, and helpful. I appreciate all their help!

Brought our son to this hospital because his PCP asked us to. Our son had autism and intellectual delay. My wife always goes ahead and preps the care team about his needs. He is non verbal and does not understand spoken language. When she came back out to the van to get us she said that the nurse was not listening to her and his needs. That was very apparent when we walked in. They did thing how they seem it fit. They said that he might have a kidney stone and that they are very painful. But never once did they offer him pain medication. Icing on the cake was that they placed us in a room with blood on the floor. Nope it was not from us. Never again.

While doing nothing but a slight hack of morning phlegm in the shower, I found myself collapsing my left lung apparently a result of COPD that had been diagnosed 21/2 years prior...I found myself in an ambulance from the heroes at Lakeport fire and swiftly delivering me to the ER at Sutter Lakeside Hospital where I spent almost 3 full weeks in the ICU with a successful surgery by Dr. Donald and the expert care both in and out of surgical unit, I wish to publicly praise and thank all of the staff from the Doctors, Nurses, Nurses assistances, and pulmonology therapists and housekeeping...Let me also thank the staff of the cafeteria, that is literally room service, who if they hadn't received a dinner time order would actually call me to make sure I had something to eat before they shut down for the night! There's definitely another bunch behind the scenes Imaging, Bloodworkers in the lab etc... I definitely feel that the entire staff saved my life, I just got home last evening and after 24 hours back home I am experiencing a great recovery. Again, THANK YOU ALL!!!

A satellite to the Sutter system
ER is not 24hr or trauma; Blood, pharmacy, family & stroke clinics, PT; some imaging on site. The cafeteria is closed indefinitely but there is an independent cafe.

This PA is practicing medicine at Little Lake Health Clinic in Willits, CA. I have been having a very hard time finding accurate information on him so that I can leave a review. Information on his location is still connected with Sutter Lakeside, so this is where I will leave my review. Christie has now seen my daughter twice and both times he has provided the exact opposite of "care" for her. Not only was he dismissive, he was confrontational and argumentative. It literally made me nauseous that someone who is being paid to provide "care" for patients was doing the exact opposite by actively trying to incite distress and discord. He refused to acknowledge my daughter's complaint and completely dismissed her discomfort. I left the office disgusted by the entire experience. It is really no wonder that information on him is obscure and leads to dead-ends. If I were his employer, I wouldn't want to admit it either.
