This place is great for a weekend holiday. Its not at a very remote location yet is far from the madding crowd. The cottages are big and clean. Wooden cottage has a nice cosy balcony with a nice view of greenery and the stream. Rooms are clean and well-maintained. All basic needs are taken care off. There are few adventure sport activity as well as indoor games options available. Bonfire is arranged on the lawn. Food is great and a lot in quantity. Staff are very friendly and helpful. Only minor problem we faced on the 1st day was of power cut in the afternoon. Other than that it was a great experience. Would love to visit during monsoon when the stream is full of water and nearby waterfall also has water. Highly recommended place.
Very well maintained property, have lots of activities for kids and adults. Food was awesome. Lush green surroundings, close to nature. Ideal place to relax. Should visit in winter if want to have tracking.
After doing a lot of research, we zeroed in on streamegde sakleshpur. Trust me, the experience was much better than expected, right from hospitality, food, activities, location and cleanliness. The staff are well behaved and at your service 24/7. The entire day can be spent with packed activities both inside and outside the property. They have hosts of adventure rope activity for thrill lovers, indoor games, slush volley ball, separate Bonfire for each group with music, the list is still not complete. We visited streamedge in October 2019..It was a great stay at the homestay.. The location of the homestay is great. One can feel close to the nature. The staff at the homestay were very helpful and service was great.. Food was tasty as well. The rooms were spacious and good enough..There are lot of indore and outdoor activities as well.. Overall it was a good experience and i would definitely recommend this place..
A great place to get away from the city bustle. Neat rooms, but what is amazing is the view of mountain on one side and a gurgling stream on the other.
Give it a try, the host is an amazing chap as well who shall cater to your every small need.
The resort has many activities to keep you occupied for the whole day. Zip line, slush volleyball, indoor games, outdoor games, rain dance, cycling, trekking are some examples.
They take us trekking 2 days to 2 different hilltops. Each lasting an avg of 1 hr and 2 hrs respectively.
There is also a park with swings, slide etc to keep the kids occupied.
The owner Sindhu is very friendly and very concerned about your well being while at the resort.
The food served on both days of our stay was really awesome. I am very particular about food and I found the variety offered here very vast and tasty. Surprisingly, vegetarians had more options than non vegetarians :) The cooks were also very friendly and flexible. They stayed awake till late night as we had reached the resort vey late.
Camp fire was arranged (with starters) at different locations in the resort for each group staying there overnight.
The resort is well maintained with clean rooms and rest rooms.
The only negative is the intermittent power cuts (maybe because of summer and rains when we visited). Everything else about this place and the people makes your visit worth every penny.
Excellent place to spend weekend with friends and family. A freshwater stream at the doorstep of resort refresh everyone. The rope activities and zip liner over the stream is thrill experience to thr kids. Experienced great hospitality.

Was a great expirience, we travlled with our team of 17 members for a team outing, the only issue we had was the weather that dint support us as it was heavy down pour. The team at the resort was supporing us all the time and we had a gala.
It is nice place for family as well as corporate outing to enjoy picefullmind alongwith nature of beauty . I can say if Kerala is God's home town than this place should be God's father in law's house because greenery environment.Both delicious foods ( veg & non- veg)are superb taste. Hospitality as well as time management of activities , games (indoor&outdoor) for all age group are fabulous and splendid. Definitely a very rejuvenating experience. We loved the location. The stream being the star of the resort adds on to serenity of the place. The hospitality was of top class, the resort staff made us feel at home. The food was good.We were engaged in the outdoor and indoor activities throughout our stay and also had ample time to relax around the campfire. There is something for everybody irrespective of age.Even the best things can get better. So infrastructure inside the rooms can get better. We would love to visit this place again and again. I would like to recommend this place to all my near and dear ones.

Points to improve which I came across was cleanliness in the restaurant area can improve and a need to have intercom or phone facility between room and the staff, we had take their personal number and call on that for that.

Streamedge is a nice place for a family vacation that offers a relaxing stay close to nature and away from the hustle and bustle of city life. The food prepared by Krishna was homely and delicious - especially the chicken biryani and fish curry. The adventure activities on the property including rope walk, zipline and rain dance are real fun. The trampoline is so much fun for the kids. The property is located very close to some spots like the Abbi falls and the Devigudda which offers spectacular views at the end of a short trek. Finally, the staff are polite and friendly. Its a nice family setup and the entire team led by Sindhu provide a personal touch to our experience. All in all, I would recommend Streamedge for a weekend family getaway.
I came across the homestay during my research on google for a weekend stay for 14 of us. From the beginning, the interactions have been very pleasant. Sindhu has been cordial and friendly all through the booking process.
I have a lot to speak about the homestay. Access is easy and a 4-5 hours drive from Bangalore. The rooms are nicely maintained. The beds had nothing to complaining and everything including the bathrooms were spic and span.
The homestay has a lot of activities to keep you engaged - both indoors as well as outdoors. Very well thought indeed. Both the kids and adults will thoroughly enjoy the activities - be in playing in the stream, the ziplining, the rain dance, the sunset walks and small treks, and many many many more indoor games.
The food was good - both vegetarians and non-vegetarians had thru tummy full. Dont miss the coffee. The kitchen staff were always smiling and we made sure the group showered their compliments face to face.
One of the support staff - Dileep managed all the guests and was very friendly. He kept the conversations flowing making sure everyone knows the stories of the places we visited. He made sure to click some good memories that we could take fwd. The whole group appreciates his presence and his ability to manage the groups so well. I have visited many many homestays and its good to have a face whom you can reach out to - if the guests need something.
Very good weekend getaway. Rooms are very good. Food is awesome both veg and non-veg items. Have football, volleyball, archery, dart, table tennis, cricket, Football, carom, badminton, trampoline games in the play arena. Have around 15 bicycles to roam around. have a rope walk and zip line. Rain dance, mud rugby were also enjoyable. Trekking sites are very good. Had been with my adventurous gang, the sunset point and the temple were nice nearby places. One of the best getaways we had been in recent times. Even the music played in karaoke was very good. One can thoroughly enjoy the time in the home stay as place and the nature around is very cool. If anyone planning to go for a weekend getaway this place would be one of the ideal place in saklespur with less cost and more enjoyment. Thanks to Dileep, Dushyanth, Bharath, Himani (chotu), sindhu, Siroj for the nice treatment which we miss nowadays in many of the homestays.
It was one of the best resort I've visited...The atmosphere is too good...the rooms were well maintained by the staff...All the staff were friendly and helpful to us...No words about the food...The food was one of the best thing in the resort... We'll visit often

We planned for a weekend stay @Streamedge homestay with friends and family and it was one amazing experience.The homestay is located in the midst of beautiful green hill and the staff at the homestay are extremely friendly and helpful..We requested for a cake to be arranged since it was one of our friends birthday and they arranged it in super quick time..The indoor games, Mud Volleyball, Rain Dance , Rope walking and Zip line that ends into a stream definitely makes it one homestay that you cannot miss if you are visiting Sakhlespur...

We were group of 10 people hence we were provided a beautiful well maintained dormitory. 5 star for food and excellent service. Apart from sports activities within the resort we were also accompanied by a guide for trekking which was one of the best trekking one could ever ask for.
Its a kind of perfect for stay and chilling. Maintained very well and staff is too supportive. Food served is also tasty. We stayed with family and kids and kids enjoyed there.
Located at the downhill, nice surroundings with stream passing by at the back of your room. Stream can only be seen during rainy season. Not sure about winter. Rooms are nice and clean. With 24 hours hot water available. Well maintained lawn and surroundings. Food is good. Must visit. We enjoyed a lot with friend in the stream.
We went to Stream edge Home Stay in the month of October with Friends for 3 days of Vacation. Hospitality,rooms and staff are really excellent. Enjoyed all the activities like muddy volley ball and Trekking of padavapura Betta. Night Bonfire in chill weather was good. we had a pleasant 3 days vacation. I highly recommend Stream edge if you are visiting Sakleshpur with friends, family or couples.

But the owner completely disappointed me.Below is the Detail Review.<br/>I had given my advance 1month prior to my check in date the owner Sindhu her self had confirmed the booking through watsapp,however one day before the check in date i just watsapp her @3pm to inform i will be reaching the homestay around 1130am but she replies stating We can't provide you a room as sindhu cousin had taken a Group Booking. She didn't inform me this until i msged her.Look how they manage their Bookings.Upon this she replies their wasnt contact between me from one month so she "FORGOT" to inform me. Just think my situation if i hadn't msg her gone directly to homestay. After 2-3hr she gave me a alternative stay "Which was not her homestay". I didn't have any other choice so i had to say ok and i thought it will be equivalent, i couldn't postpone my trip too Because it was my Wife Birthday. The alternative stay was not at all Good. Visited two times to this resort and had an amazing experience both the time. Staff's were very friendly and hospitality by them was v good. Including indoor games ,outdoor games, food, room overall it was worth to spend our weekend out there. Must visit at least once. :)

Must say that we enjoyed to the core.
Small small improvement is needed - maintenance is required near mudvalleyball and zipline....(steps to climb and get down) as it is tooooo toooo slippery in these areas.....
It was simple and superb place. We had enjoyed a lot .. Food and hospital was too good... Awesome location to stay.. Especially Fire camp and Music system was amazing that separate music system for each team...

A Perfect homestay in the midst of nature. Lovely place to spend time with family. It has a stream along with a Zipline. They also got activities like slush volley ball, rain dance, karaoke, etc. Food is really good and the staff are courteous. A must try place...!!!
One of the best homestay that I have visited so far. Beautifully maintained garden, comfortable rooms, many games to spend time on, two small treks, many activities in all to keep one group occupied for a day, and make it more memorable.
For anybody visiting, keep your group small of around 15 and go when no other group is visiting. You can play any games at your will, without hassle of waiting for another group to finish.

Its a very nice Homestay. Though its under construction, but still the activities and the facilities they offered are very impressive. Food is really good. And the best part is the view and the surrounding this place have is amazing in the early morning.
We were group of 7 people (adults). It was a sudden plan to Sakleshpur and we were searching for homestay within our budget then we came across streamedge homestay, it is totally worthy.. we got very good & friendly host 'sindhu' and her team..we enjoyed the place to the core.
Both for bachelor's and family it will be the best place to stay and party, don't worry about the food as both veg n non veg will be provided and also rooms were very clean.

A blissful stay at Streamedge, that lasted a night, was indeed comfortable and memorable. The service, food, cleanliness, and other smaller details were taken care of quite well.
