Great place to go to a concert,,drinks are expensive tho,,really of putting,,,
The arena is brilliant and the refreshments are reasonably priced. Plenty of bars and food places to choose from. Even seated quite far back the atmosphere/experience is brilliant. Great place for live music
Transport to afternoon event from George Square awful service with return services terminated early about 5pm. Will consider other means to event if return
Easy to get to and plenty people to help find seats etc
A good venue for catching some good shows. However parking, food and general merchandise costs are way too expensive.
Visit every year for Strictly and still get lost. However the staff are really friendly and always have a good view. Very expensive for food and drink. Great place to go and see live acts.
Really good venue. Been to boxing and a concert here. Not a bad seat in house and the stewarding staff are polite friendly and helpful.
Customer Service needs some work here's hopping new Director Debbie Mc Williams will deal with poor response when booking a wheelchair
Had an amazing night at Khalid and all the staff were great from start to finish
Easy to find easy parking and helpful staff, great place
Went to see Deacon Blue with the VIP access. Brilliant as usual with the private bar and toilets closer by. Really friendly staff and well organised letting you know when the show is starting and no stampede when leaving. Great sound and atmosphere. Well worth the extra expense for the good seats an...
A magnificent building. Every seat is a good seat. Staff seemed well trained. Security was high but we'll organized. We saw Elvis, live in stage in stage 2017. - Fantastic !!
Good place for a GIG food prices a wee bit expensive
The only good thing about the Hydro is the number of toilets. Unless you are lucky enough to get floor seats, and even then you'll need to be near the front and not be sitting behind someone taller than you, then you'll be watching the performance on the large screens as the arena is far far too big...
Even if someone in front of you stands, you can remain seated & still see the show
Venue is great apart from huge speakers I think, hanging from the ceiling which obstructs audience view from the higher seats.
One of the best venues I've been to for a rock gig great views and sound .
Came to see Hugh (Big shug) on Tuesday night and waw it was amazing. was a problem with the female toilets but was sorted as quickly as it could be and the staff were very friendly and helpful
Great nite out brilliant concert plenty off places to get and drink
Glasgow's premier live venue is a wonderful place to visit. I have attended many events here from music to MMA to comedy and have always enjoyed the atmosphere. The drink prices are reasonable for this type of venue and the toilets are clean enough. The staff are helpful and the sound system is grea...
Nice venue inside although if you're in the cheap seats at the back be prepared for very poor sound. Food and drink is overpriced which is to be expected.
Massive venue, we watched WWE here and it was amazing. Sounds is perfect and it's big enough for thousands of people to see easily and enjoy the show
Big corporate shed .Waited in a queue for over an hour to get in after being there early enough and missed the start of the concert.Bar ran out of drink unbeknown to me and others who had been in the queue for 15 minutes.Security barged his way across the bar shutting it off and frightened a female ...
Went to see Bryan Adams, great concert though the sound was just a wee bit distorted
Seen Russell Howard at this awesome venue , staff were helpful facilities were good. Will definitely visit again for another event .
Great event venue. Massive hall, easy access and convenient parking. Not a huge amount of stuff to do nearby mind you.
A very good place to spend a pleasant time at the concert.
Love it here sound is awesome.. N me being the staff are so helpful towards me and my family
We enjoy going each year , great place like the Echo arena Liverpool
A very good venue for the annual 3 night c2c country music festival that this year transferred from the adjacent smaller Armadillo concert hall. While it isn't as acoustically accomplished, it accommodates with ease almost double the audience 'in the round' (the stage is actually on one side of the ...
Great venue and all round great location for a night out
I love the hydro one of the brst venues to go to for a concert.
Amazing venue, best sound system I've heard for a gig!
Went to see 30 seconds to Mars!! Band was amazing- But the staff were very nice! The huge que outside moved swiftly, and the stewards were very alert to things that were happening!
Hydro great for standing or seated in the lower areas
Great venue, only downside is at the end of a show it takes ages to get transport out, so arrange to stay overnight at nearby hotel.
The seating is most uncomfortable, I don't expect to return for this reason alone
Hot wheels monster trucks was a great show for the kids very disappointed wasn't allowed my camera in had to leave it at front desk food is way over priced
Went to see Mark Knopfler and sound was not great. Difficult to pick out instruments and drums sounded like thunder!!
We attended stereophonics last night and had to swap tickets from standing to seating which was fine but only given one ticket between 3 of us. Missed some of the show due to not been stamped for entry in and out and one of your colleagues was extremely rude and very unhelpful. Her attitude was apau...
Although not actually at the hydro, we walked past. It looks amazing. Fantastic in the dark when lit up. The area around kept clean and tidy.
Apart from the ques to get a drink great place missed. Most of the gig but if ye can go without a pint then enjoy it
Great place depending on what is on, the seating is extremely comfortable for an arena. I found most of the staff to be very helpful and more than considerate if you are a person of impaired mobility. Negatives...can take a while to get in (as would be expected with 13.000 people) bar que can be v...
Fantastic show very entertaining and educational very well organized event
I'm Public Enemy, De La Soul and Wu Tang Clan, all in one amazing place.
Gig was phoenomona and the great sound system adds to that. HOWEVER the stupidly placed screens meant that the act was obscured, even although they are designed to be transparent. I was there for a different gig a couple of weeks earlier and screens were either side of the stage. That made much more...
Fantastic ELO gig even though we were in the heavens in row z was still able to see the band really well.
Venue is good and easily accessible but avoid the multi storey carpark at all costs. Over 1 hour to move 0.2 mile in the car park. It was horrendous. We sat 45 minutes without moving at one point. Find alternate parking arrangements to avoid being angered after your show.
Nice venue but if you don't cope with heights or have issues with vertigo or balance AVOID at all costs. The upper area feels like you on the edge of a cliff face
Love the ease of the hydro now. Everything is well laid out. Loads of toilets.
