The owner is really nice and a bit quirky. I tried Sami's Choo Choo (named for the owner) and it was like drinking a Reese cup but not overly sweet which was awesome. Great atmosphere, free wifi, and great specialty drinks menu which consists of all the standard coffee drinks with a twist.
I had the tuna melt which was tasty and not overly mayonnaised. Also serve beer and wine.

Great Service, Good Quality Food and Vegan Friendly place near Dupont Circle, D.C + a good wifi is a bonus!
I stopped by to finish some research work, by the way, their wifi is great. I was looking for Vegan lunch options. They served this healthy, warm and delicious Vegan Soup and salad sandwich. Later the owner Liana, made a delicious Soy Milk Latte. She knows her ingredients well that when I asked about Soy Chai Latte, she right away informed me that the Chai mix does contain some dairy ingredients and thus not fit for my consumption.
A must try local cafe!

Soho has become one of my favorite places to study. The staff is a perfect balance of funny and friendly. It's also great that the hours actually work for a student schedule (no closing at 6/7pm). I can't recommend any of the coffees (don't drink coffee) but the teas, smoothies, sandwiches and soups I have tried have all been excellent. The daily special is always a steal (near over $10 and extremely filling).

I consider Soho a home away from home. I've been going for years and since the new ownership took over it is a top notch cafe.

Wonderful staff that always treats me like I am part of their family.

The food is amazing and excellently priced - my favorite place to grab a soup and sandwich with a side of tea! Very nice tea selection and they make a beautiful cappucino.

I make sure I take any of my friends here when they want to have a comfortable place to grab a small beat and a hot drink. Thank you for being my Dupont staple, Soho!

They caught my attention with the sign outside advertising pastries but I was completely underwhelmed at the selection - all was wrapped in plastic and looked less than fresh and unappealing. My daughter's smoothie was gooey, yucky and made from terrible sirup - nothing fresh about it. Saw other people having sandwiches which looked fresh, and the service was friendly; but why not go the extra mile when serving food in the District where there's so many good options to choose from? What a disappointment

The servers and staff are so nice every time I go there. There's a good selection of food, especially the breakfast food. It gets really busy on weekends, but there are a lot of outlets if you plan on studying and it usually clears up enough to get a good table. There's also free wifi, although the wifi is not great. The food is always good, so is the coffee, and the menu/owner is accommodating to vegetarians!

Wow, another local owned and operated Coffee Shop in DC that has been around for over 20 years. Reasonable parking with in a block or so. Very good breakfast and other foods. We met the NextDoor rep for NW Washington DC here and it is on the map for other business meeting.

Had a great coffee and experience here until someone came and kicked us out because we hadn t bought enough apparently to justify our laptops out, even though there were 3-4 tables open and most of the restaurant did not have food or drinks in front of them. It s not you it s the laptops he said. Safe to say I won t be back

This is an amazing place to enjoy food and drinks any time of the day, for quick breakfast or meeting on lunch, or just working with laptop. My fav from the menu is chicken salad and white chocolate mocha. I'm always jumping in for a smoothie or iced drink whenever I'm in the area.

The best cafe in the neighbourhood. Great wifi connection and customer service. Food and drinks are great! Try their Mango spinach smoothie! It is out of this world! The new owner is a sweetheart and you can see all the improvements she does! I will be definetly back. Have my Spinach Mango smoothie ready!!!

A lovely little corner Tea and Coffee shop in the Dupont Circle area with a variety of seating options (small tables, large tables, bar-style and a couple cozy chairs, too) with a great selection of teas, coffees and light meals. They have a few outlets around for the longer study sessions, but you may have to search for them. The food was very good and prepared fresh and the staff were quite friendly and attentive to the customers. I'll gladly visit again when I'm back in the area!

Hands down best experience in the district. Went on a trip with my wife and daughter. Stopped in by myself for a random beer. Talked to Liana and Sami, like they were family. Found myself going in everyday after that for a bite. Ham and cheese croissant as well as the chicken salad were my favorites. My daughter always had an extremely good smoothie and muffin. Daughter always wanted to go see her friends at their cafe. You want good food from good people you come here. You won t regret it.

Nice and exotic coffee place in DC, near Dupont circle.
It has indoor and outdoor seating. The decor and ambience of the place are very unique.
The owner was very nice and hospitable.
I strongly recomend this place if you need to sit somewhere and do work or if you just want to have coffee and/or a quick bite.

Sam and this Cafe made our school visit from Denver, CO to DC a more wonderful experience. We stayed just up the street and had breakfast and did trip reflections daily for 5 mornings here. Sam and staff were incredibly friendly and welcoming. After the first day he had our order practically ready when we returned on subsequent mornings. The food and drinks were freshly made. The eggs were freshly cooked, not microwaved, and the breads and rolls were delivered fresh every morning from local bakeries. Highly recommend.

Super friendly and helpful! I just ordered a simple omelette but it was so good! They do have a minimum for card and to sit with a laptop, but seeing as it's independent and woman owned I think it's totally justified. Plus brekkie is served all day and that alone earns a 5 star in my book lol

As with the other comments, the owner is a delight and the drinks, as well! My husband and I had a chai tea latte and an earl grey, and would recommend either for future patrons. The vibe is casual and as such is a great place to work in the afternoon. I'll definitely be back!

This is the only coffee place I like to go to regularly in DC. You can always find a seat (though they're usually busy, especially at night, the place is just big with a lot of seats). Wifi is solid if you need to work and they're open late, usually until 1 or 2am. Lots of good food options, coffee is great, and the staff is very friendly and helpful. The best place to go if you're sick of sitting in crowded stuffy loud coffee shops with no seats.
