Everytime I have to applied for energy assistance or need emergency assistance Mr. Keith White and his team always do their best to help me... If you do what they request they will help you and follow through.. Shore up as a whole as always been there for all of my family even me as a teenager with JTPA and my first job.. (early head start and head start with all of my children and now grandchildren) their food program for my grandson... Christmas help with my baby girl... I could go on and on and on... You live in this area and you need some help... Check them out... if they can't help you... I know they will find you someone who can... Thas my story!!!

At this point just get rid of the whole current staff members in the energy assistance program and start over. This is one of those programs where you have to send in everything but a sample of your DNA in order to get approved, they give you the runaround so bad that you end up givin up. You can send in just about everything they require and they sit around and procrastinate with your case and try to find any small reason not to approve you. My goodness! it's a pandemic goin on right now, who has the time or access to some of these things they require? They so concerned about a document or two, meanwhile people are like sittin ducks waitin for the day their utilities get shut off because they can no longer afford the expenses due to cut hours, no hours, or just no help in general. Not everyone was fortunate enough to have an essential job. We as clients, need the help! we shouldn't have to wait weeks and months just to be denied.

I walked in feeling defeated because I was unable to pay my bill. I was quickly greeted by the staff and introduced to Keith who assisted me with step-by-step instructions on how to apply and receive assistance. Keith was kind and warmhearted and I quickly felt like he understood my concerns and urgency in getting assistance. I left his office with the help and assistance I needed. Thanks, Keith we need more people in this world like you willing to take the extra steps in assisting those in need.

One of Shore Up! Inc.'s primary focuses is on early childhood education. The organization operates several Head Start programs throughout Maryland's Eastern Shore region that provide comprehensive early childhood education services for children from birth to age five. These programs aim at preparing children for success in school by providing them with quality educational experiences that promote their physical, social-emotional, cognitive development.
