Based on 15 reviews
Scouting Nederland offers fun and challenging activities that encourage girls and boys to develop themselves personally. Its description emphasizes adventure and personal growth through Scouting experiences.
Based on the critical reviewers, the most common complaints focus on the headquarters building being an uninspiring, businesslike 1970s office on an industrial estate that feels disconnected from everyday Scouting life. One very critical reviewer also described deeply negative personal experiences with major events and alleged perpetrators still being active, but that reflects a single person's account rather than a broader pattern.

Well not the grandeur you expect at a Scouting headquarters. An old office building, which mainly breathes Scouting inside.
On the other hand, probably cost efficient, but a place on a label site or the estate would decorate the organization more. And generate contact with daily scouting life.
for some people scouting netherlands is hell on earth ....
certain major events that a person, let alone a child, should never experience; you won't lose it for the rest of your life! the consequences are very drastic and lifelong ....
and the perpetrators are still walking around freely.
Is this now the representative location for Scouting Nederland? A concrete 1970s office building located on an industrial estate. No wonder SN is increasingly alienated from their members. This is too businesslike a location. More furnished as a school building than as a Scouting building.
the building is a bit older, but what the socio-economic impact of the service is !!!
Learned everything about creating / maintaining the website and Scouts Online yesterday. What a pleasant team and what a helpfulness. And what an acquaintance! Tnx.
Geographically centrally located place. Very handy for Scouting, because they come from everywhere!
Nette entourage, leuke sfeer, goede parkeermogelijkheden, voldoende ruimte.
Glad you can just pick up scouting stuff.

Scouting Nederland is a youth organization that offers exciting and challenging activities to girls and boys, aimed at promoting their personal growth and development. With over 100 years of experience in scouting, Scouting Nederland has become one of the most respected organizations in the Netherlands, with a strong reputation for providing high-quality programs that inspire young people to reach their full potential.
At Scouting Nederland, we believe that every child deserves the opportunity to explore their interests, develop new skills, and build lasting friendships. Our programs are designed to provide a safe and supportive environment where young people can learn by doing, take on leadership roles, and discover their own strengths.
Our activities range from outdoor adventures like camping, hiking, canoeing, and rock climbing to community service projects such as cleaning up local parks or helping out at food banks. We also offer workshops on topics like first aid training or environmental sustainability.
One of the unique aspects of Scouting Nederland is our commitment to inclusivity. We welcome children from all backgrounds regardless of race or religion. Our programs are designed to be accessible for children with disabilities as well.
Our organization is run by dedicated volunteers who are passionate about making a positive impact on young people's lives. They undergo extensive training before working with children so that they can provide a safe environment for everyone involved.
Scouting Nederland has been recognized for its excellence in youth development by various organizations such as UNESCO (United Nations Educational Scientific Cultural Organization) which awarded us with an official partnership status in 2017.
In addition to our regular programs for children aged 5-18 years old we also offer opportunities for adults who want to get involved in scouting either as volunteers or staff members. This includes training courses on leadership skills or outdoor education techniques which can help individuals develop professionally while giving back something meaningful through volunteering work within our organization.
