I just got back from spending 2 nights there with the gf for her birthday. We had a king suite with jacuzzi tub. The room was super clean and spacious. jacuzzi was awesome, especially with a few glasses of champers after a day snowboarding....
The bed...... oh my goodness, I wanted to take it home with me. So comfortable... pillows were just so soft and squishy...

We had some steak in the bumpers restaurant round the corner from the lobby, and wow.... that rib eye was to die for..... best steak I've had for a long while!

**compliments to the chef on 29 th March 2018!!! You know how to cook the steak proper!!**

Front desk staff were awesome and friendly with a good sense of humour....

All I'm saying is.... all in all our experience was AAAAAAAAA +

I need a loyalty card because I'll be going nowhere else but here in the future when I hit banff.

Everything was really awesome, the staff were really nice and helpful too! Room was lovely (we had a loft king bed room with a fireplace) and very clean. We spilled latte on the sheets and they were super quick to come replace them. Only reason why it wasn t 5 stars is because it s a 15-20 mins walk from downtown banff, which in the winter is too far because it s so cold. Unfortunately the bus only runs every 40 mins and the taxi company runs a monopoly and charges ridiculous prices.

Absolutely terrible room. $300 per night! We look into the rooms in the building next door. They refused to move us yet the person checking in before us got a free upgrade. We booked in February for September to ensure a good room. They definitely lost any future business for us and our friends we tell this about. I wish there was a zero star rating.

The soundproofing of the hotel was not good. I heard the sound of closing the door and the room was quite spacious. Although the hotel facilities have spa pools, they are too small and often crowded, making them unusable. It takes a long time and is very disappointing.

Basic hotel room for the "premium king room". The hotel is located at the start of Banff so you don't get a lot of the downtown noise. 20 minute walk to the other end of the town, so a lot of stores and restaurants within walking distance. Breakfast at the onsite restaurant was decent. Large portion sizes. Bathrooms in the rooms were poorly lit.

Quite a new building on the edge of town. But the facilities were very good and there are various transport stops out the front.
The staff behind the counter could not have been more helpful and friendly.
The breakfast was also excellent - simple, but very good value (don't bother with the hot option.)

Front desk service is friendly and very helpful, the location is great if you don't mind a 15 min walk in to town, perfect for us as it is quiet. our room (double Queen) is massive, clean and so much more than we expected.

The restaurant, first night, was good...second night was not so great....and breakfast isn't all that.

Overall a great place to stay.

Absolutely beautiful views of the mountains to the east and located at the quieter end of Banff Avenue! We arranged for an early check-in so we could take advantage of the jacuzzi tub and just chill out and relax. The room was pretty big with the lofted area where the jacuzzi tub was located. A private balcony overlooking Banff Avenue provided for a nice relaxing time to just unwind and take in the scenery. I would recommend The Rundlestone Lodge for any couples who are just looking for a peaceful retreat in the beautiful Rocky Mountains!!

Just stayed here for my honeymoon. It was a lovely place to stay. The honeymoon suite is super spacious and beautiful, the jacuzzi was great, the fireplace was beautiful. Had a fully equipped kitchen which was super nice. We could just make dinner one night and not have to worry about going out. There was some confusion about what actually was happening with our room at first but they sorted everything out and gave us a lovely breakfast to make up for the hassle. The cleaning staff could have been a bit more through in their clean between new couples as they did leave a box that had explicit content in it at some point under a chair from the people before us. The heated underground parking was fantastic and they do have lockers for ski equipment if that's something you would like to use. The pool was clean and warm. All around had a lovely experience.

We are a couple in our twenties, we rrly liked this place. The rooms are big and clean.the hotel is calm. The hotel is located in the heart of downtown, made it very easy for us to shop and choose a place to eat.it is 10 min away from the gondolas and parking was included.very fait price and worth it

We stayed there for a night in the hot tub room which is small and overpriced but ok. We then went to go have a meal in the bar downstairs and the old, grumpy bartender was astoundingly rude to us! First we were ignored, then we were told to go elsewhere if we wanted better service. When we complained to the Front Office manager about this, Michael Hall, he defending his terrible staff and paid no attention to the horrible way we were treated or now that he has lost customers who stay in Banff all of the time but we will also tell friends and family to definitely steer clear from this hotel since they pay no mind to customer service or how to properly treat people. This manager obviously needs some class and obviously needs some proper manners. Your managers at this hotel should all get fired and start new so that maybe you can have qualified staff working here. This hotel is not nice enough for people to put up with this unprofessional behaviour.

Window beside the bed allowed a lot of cold air through. Heater was aimed directly at the bed and every time it turned on it would first blow cold air on you. so it was constant waves of super heat and super cold. Made me wake up constantly throughout the night and I was sick the next day. Ended up making a wall with things around the room(pillow, blanket). But otherwise it was nice

Although originally pleasant, our stay was dampened by the unpleasant management and poor customer service. Never in my life have I been treated so poorly in response to a valid question. Management took our deposit on the room, and laughed when we asked why. Not only did they tell us that their policies allowed them to do as they please, in response to asking why other hotels did not have the same policies they told us that next time we can stay somewhere else as they don t need our business. Over one frivolous thing, the Rundlestone Lodge has left an unpleasant memory of what was supposed to be a family trip. Disgusting.

Rundlestone Lodge is the best place to stay when visiting Banff!! After finding this hotel we are now regular guests there and will never stay anywhere else when we visit Banff!

The management and staff are friendly and welcoming and they make sure that every part of your stay is enjoyable and relaxing. The level of service, food and cleanliness/comfort of the rooms is outstanding and they go above and beyond every time to make sure you have everything you need for your stay.

I would definitely recommend Rundlestone Lodge as the no.1 hotel in Banff! Check them out you won t be disappointed!

We stayed there this week for 2 nights. The front staff were fantastic, informative and super friendly during phone calls as well as in person! This was my 2nd time staying here and the first visit was equally as professional and friendly. The rooms (semi sleeper and the loft) are fabulous, comfortable and very quiet. Highly recommended! Will definitely stay again.

We arrived and paid for our room (350.00). We went to the room and it was obviously not clean (hair on bathroom toilet and in tub. Dust and not vacuumed) then we called front desk and told them that this was unacceptable and not worth the 350.00. They moved us to a room on the 2nd floor and ensured us it would be in great shape. I said, and if its not then what? We went down and it was in the same condition. The front desk lady stated that her housekeeper went and checked the existing room and that it was up ti their standards. I said that i worked in the industry previously and this is not up to even super 8 standards. They told me they didnt want me to stay because of my attitude and asked that i leave and refunded me.

Great accommodations. Rented the jaccuzi suite and it was very clean and roomy. Just like the picture shows with the jacuzzi tub being in the bathroom with a large opening in the wall looking into the bedroom / living area. Small parkcade can't fit taller trucks but they have parking out back that is well lit and out in the open by the park next door. Highly recommended.

Your paying for the location not the room. The first thing I noticed was the furniture was below the average quality of similarly priced hotels (that I've been to). That set the tone for the whole experience, "below average, but not bad". It does have a very nice pool and hot tub though, and the beds were comfortable. I stayed for 2 nights in the corner room/family suite. Room 234.

Great reasonably priced hotel on the outskirts of Banff.
Nice rooms with great staff and good restaurant and bar.
Good indoor pool and hot tub, well you have to don't you
15 minute walk from all the tourist stuff in downtown Banff or a 3 minute bus ride.
Short cab ride to the Rocky Mountaineer rail station.
