Delightful! The jazz music and dining what a way to spend a romantic Friday evening. I have 0 complaints it was utterly gorgeous. The menu is an inspired and inclusive one with a variety of options to fit your choice of diet. Great service, the band were class. We visited Portsmouth and had this place in mind and it did not disappoint! Large venue that transported somewhere European and warm. Enjoyed it dearly.

Rosies is a wine bar that has some fantastic food. It is a very relaxed environment with Jazz nights on most Fridays. The food is not super expensive but not what i would consider cheap either, but you are paying for quality. (beef Wellington was amazing). The venue is split into 3 with a small mezzanine the main floor with the bar and a downstairs. Bands are usually situated near the door on the main floor, so if you specifically want to see the entertainment then make sure you book this area. Staff are very warming and friendly and atmosphere is great

There was one waitress on tonight (Tuesday) and Rosie's was extremely busy for a weekday. She did wonderfully. my boyfriend and I agreed she should get a pay rise, instantly. The food was delicious and the wine was also lovely. Will return and hopefully see our lovely waitress on the management team if she isn't already.

I'm just not a fan.

They have a large variety of wines and other drinks.

The atmosphere is ok but nothing special
Service is ok
They have vegetarian dishes on the menu
But overall nothing stands out as something I must come back for

Rosie's vineyard is a hidden gem! Wonderful food, really good atmosphere lovely little garden and fabulous staff.
I was at a friend's wedding reception here a few weeks ago, nothing was too much trouble infact the staff went above and beyond what would be expected to make sure the day went without a hitch.
I would highly recommend coming here either for something delicious to eat or just for a glass of wine to take in the ambience!

We went there for Jazz music and ended up having a lovely dinner as well. It's a bit pricey but it's a lovely place and the music was so good that it was worth it. The place looks so nice inside, I love all the plants inside as well. Staff were really nice, food came quick.

Amazing food and great service. Even though the restaurant was busy, our waiter was really on the ball. My only complaint was that our table was next to the bar and when a large group were waiting to be seated, they stood right next to our table and then decided to start talking to us about how close our table was to the bar.. once the group had moved there wasn't a problem. The jazz band was excellent. A great evening!

Have visited Rosie's on an occasional basis for years. Still has a lovely feel to it. Regular jazz style bands. Can be a little noisy with chatter, but not raucous. Though I tend to choose from the more budget end of the list, I still expect to have something drinkable. I had been put off by the wine quality a few years ago, but last time had a decent bottle at a reasonable price. Definitely worth a visit.

We absolutely love coming here, it's our go to place for aa celebration. The staff are so friendly and approachable. The food is consistently great quality, the venison and lamb in particular are delicious. If you are struggling with the selection of wines, try a bottle of the moko black, it's a lovely white wine. My only slight criticism is that it may be a bit expensive for some, but great quality comes at a price. We absolutely adore the atmosphere, it's certainly worth a visit

Went here for the first time to see the FB Pocket Orchestra and have a nice glass of wine. Fantastic service from the bar staff, wonderful music and a cozy, warming atmosphere. If only they sold some snacky food to go with the wine. Their list of sides was quite short and I couldnt find the sort of thing I fancied. Besides that one minor issue the whole experience was fantastic! Will definitely come back here! :)

I have been visiting Rosies off and on since I was 18. I'm now 59. I loved Rosies for its amazing Jazz which was brilliant again. The wine was also good. The food was OK. I had a roast, nothing to write home about. The only thing I didn't like was the way we were spoken to about ordering our food. It seemed as though because we had booked a table at 2.15, we were expected to eat straight away but at Rosies it's a lovely place to sit and relax and drink and eat when you are ready but it seemed a problem. We were told the kitchen had to plan so we should really order and that they were expecting large parties and if we didn't order we may have to wait. We were not going to be rushed so when we were ready we asked to order and once again they had to check before allowing us to order. We didn't see any large groups appear whilst we were there! It just put us off a bit that we weren't allowed to eat when we wanted but all said and done it was a pleasant time, just for me not like the old days...

Good service, food excellent, what's not to like? Also the waitress was very knowledgable. A family member ordered venison, however he requested frites in lieu of the standard dauphinoise potatoes with this dish. Although advised the two do not complement each other his rather unusual request was accommodated nonetheless.
