Hey look, a chain of burger restaurants with unlimited refills on steak fries. How can you go wrong? Well you can't, not really. This location is on the waterfront and does offer outdoor seating for those fantastic Seattle summers. That said, this place will get crowded as it's a recognizable chain and reasonably priced. Families pile in here so if you want to avoid that, go elsewhere.

Red Robin is a chain so the typical lack luster approach to your dining experience is to be expected. The silver lining is that you pretty much get the same experience whether you're at the Lynnwood, WA location or in downtown Seattle. Red Robin has always been consistent. The problem is that it's consistently blah.

This location at the Seattle pier is especially blah because it's so small. Often times you're left waiting for someone to pass you so that you get get to the bathroom, get back to your seat or simply leave.

The food is slightly poor for the value. It's close but I would say you pay more for something than it's worth. Over the last few years the chain has tried to change things up and part of that is higher prices with a less personal touch on service. Red Robin takes advantage of something called a Ziosk. The moment your child touched the Ziosk they can easily gain access to games, and the moment that happens your bill just got a $1.99 charge. Even if they don't play the game, or you take the Ziosk from them...there's a charge.

So what's up with the Ziosk anyway? I'm not really sure. Rather than give your server a card/cash and pay your share, you do it all through the Ziosk if you're paying with a card. You can review your bill, call your server, pay, print/email a receipt, and play games.

Now take into account I might be a little biased. I can cook, I'm rather good at it, and I gauge a lot of my experience on whether the food was worth the price. Cutting the chase, the food wasn't bad but it wasn't awesome. Was the food edible and the order correct...yes. There are obviously more expensive places to eat in the area and this is probably on the low/medium side of the price guide for the pier.

Super disappointed in this RR. My family is in town visiting, so of course we wanted to grab a bite on the waterfront on a gorgeous day. We are told 5 people outside would have to be split up, we couldn t seat 5 at a 4 person table. That s fine, we took a seat in the bar. However the whole time we were here, there were TWO empty tables for 6 outside?! Moving on, service in the bar was extremely slow. No menus, silverware, the servers were nice but this is just too poor of service for me. Food wasn t even hot. My mom got the banzai burger, that advertises grilled pineapple... there were two slices straight from a can thrown on there. Super disappointing.

I went to Red Robin and ordered a burger to go in downtown Seattle. Kaitlyn helped me at the host stand and placed my order. The burger was honestly kinda bad, but her service was amazing!! She went out of her way to help me, and just gave the best service ever. If someone from Red Robin is reading this, whatever job position Kaitlyn is in; she needs a PROMOTION and a RAISE.

They were really busy, but was expected due to good weather and the Irish festival going on. Was told the wait was 30 minutes for our party of 5 (even though there was a booth available that could hold us) the person checked us by name (or so we thought)...well 30 minutes came and went as other parties were seated before us that came in after us with bigger parties. It wasn't until we finally got frustrated that we said something to a manager after seeing a party that was larger who came in after us and was seated in the booth that was open when we walked nearly 40 minutes beforehand. Apparently, the guy who checked us in really never put us in or or name got bumped. However, we were seated 5 minutes later and offer free appetizers. The server was good and attentive and so was the food for the most part

They have a serious problem with the Pier 55 location in Seattle, Washington. Even when there is no health crisis and I am practically the only person in the restaurant the servers disappear. They don t honor specials. They re rude. I decided to give the location one last try since I was able to redeem my birthday burger for delivery. I included a milkshake because I didn t want the burger to be the only thing on the delivery. Red Robin neglected to give the chocolate shake to the driver. The driver refused to go get it. I called the restaurant and hoped that I wouldn t be given the run around between them and DoorDash. The man who picked up, I forget his name, but it was at around 6:50pm on Friday April 17. He said they would refund the order. One week later no refund. Please do not BS me. When something is refunded it shows up on my account within a week. It never did. I contacted corporate and THEY reached out to the restaurant. STILL no refund. They even ignore their corporate offices! While I appreciate the restaurant being open during this crisis this location has zero excuse because they are terrible every single time. My last visit to dine in at the restaurant was quiet and the server would disappear for long periods of time. When the check was ready my $10 special was missing. He said he would fix it. 15 minutes later I finally see him again and the bill is still not corrected to the $10 special. Needless to say, much like Friday s driver, this server also lost receiving a tip due to being the worst server I ever had the misfortune of being stuck having. Some Red Robin are fine. NOT THIS ONE!!!

Very poor service. Our waiter had maybe two other tables to serve. He ordered our milkshake from the tablet on the table. He was very inattentive and another waiter actually had to come check on us toward the end of our meal. My burger came with mayo when I specifically asked for none. Left feeling sick.

This was the worst Red Robin I have been to in my life. The food was absolutely disgusting and management did nothing to fix it. I was so embarrassed that I took an out of state visitor here. The burger she ordered was super sloppy and the fries were cold. I had a rubber chicken burger with cold fries too. I expected waaay better from such a reputable establishment.

Terrible service. The girl in front was not friendly. We sat at the bar and there were lots of attendants chatting and the food took 1h to get here. The burger was unreal small. We had ask for the fries and more coke. ALL of them were not polite or nice. I would never go back here again.

We were there 4/1/19. Our waiter was the BEST. With night coming and my dead phone, he called us an Uber, and when that Uber cancelled, he called another, then waited for it to appear. I wish I could remember his name and he knew how much that meant to me and my daughter.

Had the chophouse burger, which was tasty & it's juices dripped all over me. My man had the Caesar, which was standard. My offspring had the grilled cheese, which she said was 4 out of 5 stars. She also had the salad, which was crisp & cold. I helped with the salad :) We might have ruined our taste buds with the root beer float & the creamy milkshake which we downed so fast from walking all over the Seattle waterfront. View is great!

Very, very busy; as expected since it's on the Seattle waterfront. The place is very clean and tidy(the payment touchscreens at the tables are dirty, but it looks like they tried to clean them). The employees are enthusiastic and helpful, and the kitchen is comparatively fast with food.
It is a bit cramped and claustrophobic with so many people in such a small place. And it seemed to be about a 1h wait for seating for groups of 4+.
