Everything Southstar does is for thier benefit without thought for the homeowners. Putting in a little pool is only one of the many discrepancies. Sidewalks are desperately needed. The roads here at Vintage Oaks are very narrow for traffic alone. Residents walk their dogs and bike on our very dangerous roads. The roads are busy with large ongoing construction traffic. Although part of the hiking trails have sidewalks, the trails neeed to be complety sidewalked. It would be nice to walk these trails without fear of all the lose gravel and rock. As for now, the trails are the only somewhat safe walking arena. Money was spent on landscaping at the front entrances. The original front landscaping was pleasant enough. The homeowners money needs to focus on resident activity and safety. 4th of July fireworks are focused on potential buyers and not the POA residents. It appears everyone outside of our POA come to see our event and bring more traffic to the already unsafe residential road. If the POA residents are paying for this event, they are caught far away from the location. It is better to stay home and void the traffic and put the money on residential needed improvements. When I purchased my property, the neighborhood was just getting started and construction was ongoing -- I assumed sidewalks were going to be part of the deal. POA meetings occur minimal and the times that they do occur are at times that draw minimum traffic. POA members need to fight back and do whatever it takes to put Southstar's vision on residential needs instead of their own self interest.

Southstar s recent pool addition is embarrassingly small and terribly designed. It will only exacerbate the growing amenity crowding issue. Things will improve when SS is no longer in control of the Vintage Board of Directors.
