Great school. Garbage websites and nait portal. And dont even get me started on the password bs....
NAIT is becoming a leader more than ever. Diversity, serious educational credentials and seemingly great attitude and willingness to work with students. My daughter has attended University of Alberta and NAIT and told me that the instructor was very interested in what she's looking for in a future o...
These five stars are for the ombudsperson Alexia. Thanks for your help and support
Nait is caring ,loving and keep refining. As a student, I sincerely feel delightful and fortunate on a daily basis studying here!!!
Applied for a course. Got very little help, was told to wait for a response. Never got one even after bugging them. My application then got cancelled. 200$ down the drain. Thanks NAIT!
THE ABSOLUTE BEST INSTITUTION IN ALBERTA IF YOU ARE WILLING TO WORK, STUDY, WORK, TALK TO YOUR PROFF'S AND OF COARSE W O R K!!!!!!!!!
The 1 star is for Russell the head of the automotive dept. The guy is a terrible instructor. Does not know how to teach whatsoever. Just reads out of modules and very vague with his explanations. It's beyond me how NAIT has a dept head as one of their instructors. Trying to complain or voice my gri...
Not a fun place for sure
But a great place to learn
I heard various good things about nait fron each and every student who is graduated from nait and earning well on best positions , designations and trades.my classes will start on september 2015.
The employment rate and salary on their website are not accurate. Do not expect those numbers after graduation.
I attended NAIT for the Medical Laboratory Assistant program in 2017 and I am currently attending for the Medical Laboratory Technology program. Overall, I would say that NAIT is an excellent school for seeking employment afterwards, and they are certainly hands on teaching you what you will be do...
The worst experiences in my life, rather Red Deer college for apprenticeship training.
Well I m new to the school so here goes my beginning of my 4 years from day one
Good job guys! Nait has so much potential, please continue implementing modern science and psychology!
Building's are too big and direction signs aren't enough. It's easy to get lost. There's no staff to facilitate.
Extremely poor service, people are rude and interrupt constantly. They also take applications knowing there are no spots available and pocket the funds. What there doing for online registration is basically fruad. Take your money, even though the class your interested is full for over a year, and ...
Coca cola's in places in Africa that has no clean water. So don't be fooled! Shame on you nait for monetizing youth's values. Banks solicit here too. And they have a gambling station next to the book store. They don't care for students or instructors. They say the right things but we know what runs...
Great place for practical experience and learning. Excellent instructors, labs and infrastructure. If you have no intentions to bend down and study this institution will fail your expectations. You work hard and earn it, then the world is at your finger tips.
Instructors are helpful specially for the online studies. Though I'll give it a one for student services and payment website.
I have taken many courses at NAIT and am quite pleased with the quality of instructors and variety of courses, however, I have had bad experiences with NAIT when I am owed a refund. Many NAIT courses, such as their apprenticeship courses, require you to pay up front at the time of scheduling. Due to...
Finished my first year so far and it's been awesome. I'm taking the DMIT program and I've not had a problem with any of the instructors yet, it's clear what we're expected to do and they give us the knowledge to do it.
They forced me to pay $340 for a buss pass. I have a car, and am only taking one night class. I also already have a buss pass from work. I get that they are a business, but this is just low.
NAIT will take your application money knowing that the College or the program is full. Very bad business practice. There should be a Government regulation - regulating bad colleges.
Did you know that NAIT has a retail meat shop for their butcher program? With significantly lower costs, I purchased salmon, steak, beef jerky and marinated pork. WIN!
I really enjoyed my time here at nait, great instructors and an awesome culinary class that offered cheap lunches in the cafeteria.
It was Definitely a fun time, looking back.
I completed my Business Admin - HR diploma through NAIT and had nothing but issues. Most (not all) of the instructors were uninterested and wouldn't give you the time of day if you asked. I have had nothing but issues trying to get documents. They take days to reply to emails. I had medical issues ...
I absolutely love this place. About a year ago, I was told by my doctor that I would never be able to go to school. And here I am now, getting excited every morning to take the bus there, achieving over 90% in all my courses! It's all thanks to the amazing NAIT staff, really. They have been very h...
The teachings at NAIT are practical and give the knowledge and experience required for real world jobs. I appreciate the excellent work that NAIT has been doing and contributing to Alberta's economy and growth.
Graduated from CNT & BAIST. The former is one of the hardest programs, but you're guaranteed ready for nitty-gritty real-world programming or business analysis. Most of the instructors were good and challenging. Inexpensive tuition with quality education. Great technical institute!
The infrastructure of The institute is really impressive. Moreover there are many students in this institute starting different different kinds of all subjects. There are wide range of courses available here. Furthermore there a lot of recreational activities. A student never get bored here. In addi...
I came up from the states to do some EMS training. Staff and students were very welcoming and hospitable. Instructional staff was top notch and very worldly.
Took Carpentry through NAIT was a great experience, and my Certification has always kept me employed!
Amazing school. Instructors are all well trained, thorough, and offer help after hours if needed. Campus is large but easy to navigate. Classes aren't too large and there's plenty of extra stuff to do on campus as well. Good selection of food and ammenities.
I was trying to find a school and it is a bit tricky and confusing. so first I went to grant macewan, When I went there to ask about some course and tell them what requirement that I have and I don't have and what will happen, they ask me to look for my information online and guide me trough a step ...
Only issue I ever had was parking. get your pass early.
Outstanding place to learn crafts and trades. Taught me how a car really works and has been providing training to hundreds of students round the clock to provide world class Auto Technicians, mechanical, HVAC, Boiler tech, nurses, Culinary arts and many more disciplines.
I could write a book on why I hated the whole experience
Great place to learn. Took some night school classes there.
A premier Technical Institute located near downtown Edmonton. The facilities are modern and the instructors are experienced/skilled. It's positive reputation is supported by the numerous international students attending. There's a multitude of affordable student housing nearby, via transit or walk...
Excellent place to get an education that will help you get a job in your field. LRT helps make the commute easy, retail meat shop is outstanding. All the staff in my program were very professional, intelligent, and caring. Coming here as a student was a great decision for me, I wish I did it earlier...
Jerry, Ralph, Ken, Max, Phil, Randy, Ronan, and of course Belinda are all 5 stars. The facility, the curriculum, and the infrastructure are all lacking in many areas.
I agree with the person who made the extensive post as I had experienced a lot of the same things there 24 years ago. Nobody with good intentions while attending that school should ever have to be experiencing the ordeals I had to endure there and am quite appalled that this is still going on. What ...
-application portal is too unfriendly.
-application needs to be mailed physically prior to given conditional offer. doesnt make sense.
Nice big campus, not the best apprenticeship program run in this college
Great post secondary polytechnicle school. They have a large selection of top notch programs to take. Highly reccomend
A technical school with an emphasis solidly on vocational training. The campus life is almost non-extistant as people are only there to get training to get a job, not to get an education.
Having attended two trades programs here and spoken to students and faculty in several departments I'd give NAI...
Their online programs are a scam, stay away and do it through another university. NAIT charged me an application fee, I sent them my transcripts which they did nothing with it and then told me my application was cancelled. They made no effort to contact me about any of this. Don't waste your time or...
A great place to learn and to educate! Definitely essential for technological advancements in Canada!
For international students, my humble request to you do not trust ever to this college, i got admission into it and somehow my visa is rejected it s ok but college is not giving my fees back. I had put lots of mails and inquiries to college but it s just water under bridge. My one semester hole fee ...
Best instructors, did my industrial mechanic technical training here! Always very friendly and smart
Loved my time here, i took the EMR program and it was a blast! Cant wait to go back. GO OOKS!
Terrible structure no organization terrible schedule we had almost a 50 percent fail rate in class I've been to slave lake college and Lethbridge college because I couldn't get into nait before but even though I live in Edmonton I would rather drive 8 hours to Lethbridge for school then having to te...
You need to update your top 50 alumni page and remove the Murderer Mark Twittchill from your list of top 50 alumni. It tarnishes the image of NAIT. I would like to see NAIT replace their top 50 alumni with another alumni.
Parking is expensive , food is expensive there s no help
a big university with many diffrent classes and if you get the chance i highly reccomend it
Best post-secondary institute I have ever attended.
Nait is like a Politician. Lobbying will always win and student's future credit will sometimes go foul. Way to go Nait
I have attempt to get 3 diplomas and 1 certificate form NAIT and never succeed due to Staff harassment, bulling, ignoring Alberta OH &S, human right violations, and not teaching what is in the curriculum either taking stuff out or putting stuff in.
College Prep 2006 2 semesters, 2006

Culinary Arts student here. Well worth the experience and amazing instructors with a lot of experiences in the trade.
And don't forget you can save a lot of money by purchasing the kit somewhere else or get the equipment individually. Including the clothes can be purchase at Chef's Hat. You'll be...
Well, it's a college for one, and I guess that it's also nation-wide renowned, so that's all pretty cool. Ah, who am I kidding, this is one of the best (granted, the only one) colleges i've ever had the pleasure in learning under! It's got a full sized pool, two NAIT owned restaurants (and numerous ...
Received abysmal assistance from academic advisors and customer support. Appointments not kept, dodging questions, and the website has many bugs.
If you know exactly what you want to do with ultra career, this is a great place to sharp your skill.
I applied to nait just before all this covid19 craziness started i went to school in ontario and the U.S unfortunatelly my transcripts only show how many credits i brought from my schooling in the US and the courses i took in grade 12 in Ontario to prove my ELP(english language proficiency). I could...
Fantastic business marketing course - at least it was back in '94 when I took it. I have personally benefited from the education I received here, the course was intense (but worth every minute), the instructors knowledgeable and relevant, and I came away with real actionable skills used everyday in ...
I came for the meat store, stayed to get educated.
Great place, great instructors. Weight room is very tiny and out of date, and parking is impossible. but willing to overlook it for the cheap meat they have available at their butcher shop
Worst experience .. They would ask you to apply for the program and pay all the evaluation fees and only to find out later you are late to apply so you apply again for next term and pay the fees the again.
I can't forget this institute my whole life . I love you NAIT
Great school, great instructors, good class sizes, extracurricular activities and awesome learning experience, EXCEPT when you have to deal with anything online with them. Absolutely the worst school website I have ever witnessed in my entire life. NOTHING works when you need it to. You could honest...
Been a million years since I went, but the recent grads I've seen have all had that NAIT touch in common: practical knowledge and quick to get into the real world and start working. Some of the equipment may be ancient, but that's how it is in the real world too.
Avoid taking trades here. It sucks. The system sucks, their teaching style and their instructors suck. You guys want real good education experience for trades? Go to Lakeland College. The difference is nig and day with these two facilities. The instructors actually do lectures, finish labs as a clas...
it's a really good college.... only bad thing is trying calling them and you'll never get through. I just finished calling them and the machine said I was "1st in line" so I was happy about that but when I am "1st in line" for 25 minutes is really poor communications on NAIT's part. I never got my p...
Dufhuque! Your hotline is the worst customer service ever. Call is always on hold. If you need to inquire about some information prepare to wait 30 mins or more. Longer than CIC customer service.
Tuition is much expensive as compared to MacEwan and U of A
