Mottomo Sushi

By far the best sushi in town. Amazing food, good prices and great staff. We come on our anniversary every year and are never disappointed.

I wasn t expecting much but good food for a restaurant which is at the town like Rolla which is basically middle of nowhere.

Delicious Japanese food. The bento boxes are a great value.

Rememberable dining experience. Food was amazing. Will go back.

Quality of the meal was good, but when they charged me five times for two rolls, and I brought it to their attention, they refused to fix the issue, insisting I wait a month to try to get reimbursed. Two rolls, $68, when we should've had a $18.56 charge, plus $3 tip.

Following up, my card company doesn't charge pre-authorization, but yours does. Still didn't explain why my card still had five transactions to your one restaurant. Today, there's a new pending charge of $21.56, so that's even more fun, as there's still two pending $18.56 charges, one pending credit in that amount, one posted $21.56...

Excellent quality sushi! Perfect amount of rice in the cut rolls, can't say that about many places. Creative combinations, fast friendly service. I highly recommend the mermaid roll.

Amazing and delicious food, even when your full still want more

Husband loves the sushi, and I love the Yaki Udon. Run by great people.

Too expensive and small rolls. Overly salty sushi and didn t have any of their desserts listed. Poor quality sushi. Not fresh

Honestly it's just too notch. Everything has always been great and the sushi is the best in rolla. Would totally recommend

Amazing sushi, service, and atmosphere. Hidden gem.

Mottomo is honestly one of the best sushi places you ll find in Rolla. The food was great and they have a wide variety from Ramen to Bento Box s to sushi. I ve tried all at some point and have enjoyed every bit of it. If you re looking for a good place to eat, I would recommend this place. However, one thing it does lack is space, it feels cramped with the amount of seats squished in this area. With what they lack in space, they make up for with taste. Great place to eat!

The place was really nice inside! I didn't enjoy the food, but it was because I tried something new and it didn't fit my taste. My friends fully enjoyed their food though. Customer service was the best I've had in a while.

Very good low-key sushi place. Very tasty, quick service, reasonable prices. Very quiet but comfortable.

Best sushi in Rolla and a very friendly staff, this is one of my favorite places in town.

Excellent food, and great sushi. Try the Korean pancake.

Impressive carryout Dragon Sushi. A friend recommended it and I am a fan. Looking forward to eating there and seeing if the customer service and atmosphere matches the carryout.

Rolls we're great. Good portion of fish and other ingredients, not all rice. Service excellent with a quiet decor.

Good sushi selection, nice atmosphere, not too bustling.

We ate there and the food was horrible and customer service even worse. We did not like the food.

Love the food and the waiters! Always fresh and delicious! My go-to place for sushi in Rolla

Food was amazing. I sat at the counter, the kind gentleman making the food enjoyed the conversation at the same time of making our sushi rolls. 100% best sushi in rolla, you won't find any better here.

Slow service. Good quality sushi, however it was over priced.

Very reasonably priced lunch menu, and the food was excellent!

Very dark for the middle of the day, our food was so hot we had to wait several minutes to eat it. On a good note, it was fresh! Server was cordial.

I love this place. We are regulars. We eat here at least two to three times a week!!!

Perfect hole in the wall feel, awesome food for the price.

Best sushi I've ever tasted! I've been going there regularly since I was 10 years old!

Good, little pricey, not as good as Ichiban in St Robert

Our trip to Mottomo was fantastic! I highly recommend the chicken katsu and the spicy crab roll! Also, their green tea is made from matcha with is a rare, but delicious find! Staff was friendly, the restaurant was clean, and service was quick!

Fast friendly service, good food, particularly enjoyed the crab rangoon.
Quiet unhurried atmosphere no rush for you to leave. All had the B-3 lunch special, and surprise everyone enjoyed it. Kinda a first for this family.

Gorgeous food, a bit pricey but worth it. I recommend going at the lunch time, and getting a bento box! ~9 bucks for a good amount of food! Also the best miso soup I've ever had

Delicious place, only the miso soup is usually WAY TOO SALTY!!

Prices are way too high for sub-par " japanese" food

Simply the best sushi. We drive an hour and a a half go eat here.

I was on a business trip and disappointed they did not take AMEX. The flavor of sushi was OK.

This place was a great place to eat lunch! I am happy that I went there!

Large and fresh sushi pieces. Really as good as you can get anywhere in this region.

We have NEVER been disappointed! Even our kids will eat the food here, and one is extremely picky.... Great food and excellent service.

If you are looking for homey place and a delicious meal, look no further.

Dry overpriced sushi. We had to wait forever for the check. The only good part was the coffee candy when we left... do not recommend.

Sushi as good as I have ever had, and I have eaten in some of the best places in San Francisco and the SF Bay area. I would bend over backwards to eat here again!!!

Mottomo has the best sushi I've ever tasted, tasty and beautifully put together, an A+

Great staff and service. Would definitely come back. Very good sushi, if you like spicy, pork bulgogi is for you!!

Was lied to about raw fish and the Saki was tasteless.

Consistent and quality food every time. Excellent customer service.

The food was so delicious. Our waiter was very friendly and was very good about refilling drinks before I even noticed that it needed more. The sushi was very reasonably priced. It is priced about the same as Koi in Rolla, but it tased better. Portion sizes are very generous. The eggroll had glass noodles in it, which is something I've never had but I loved. I will definitely go back.

Mottomo has great sushi and lunch boxes, for resonable prices. Always good quality food and great service.

Given that Rolla is a small town in a landlocked state, I was not expecting much. This restaurant had changed that. I was more than pleasantly surprised by the quality of the fish and the presentation. And the variety was really good. Service was very good, also. Definitely worth coming back to.

Absolutely love this place. Great sushi, great atmosphere and some of the best staff I have ever had the pleasure of meeting.

Fantastic! Nice quiet place with a large variety of sushi and other items. Super fast service. This is our new go to sushi spot.

one of my favorite places to sit down and eat, no complaints anywhere!

The Korean BBQ is great. Sushi is good, not loaded with sugar. Kimchis are fresh.

The nicest folks you ever wanted to meet operate this little resturant for quite a few years. Very good... well... everything I have tried is delicious. Quite an expierence dining there.

Fair prices, always fresh. By far the best sushi joint in the area. Also the costume service is outstanding.

Best place in Rolla for sushi! The wait staff is always very kind as well.

Honestly probably the best sushi you're going to find in rolla. Friendly staff and great food.

The inside is not fancy but the sushi is great! Service is decent.

It is a great place! Their dishes are really delicious, especially the sushi!
