Terrible in every single aspect. Ultra small rooms, no safe, no minibar. But by far the worst is the noise. Unless you are planning to sleep in a race party, stay away from this hotel.

Nice hipster hotel. Convenient location. Rooms are small as expected, but comfortable and well equipped.
Great Location with a nice bar. I encountered some issues and the staffs are friendly and empathetic. Enjoy the stay in such stylish rooms.
Love this place!! Their whiskey sour was perfect...staff was amazing and love the caesar salad. It's close to the Hammerstein Ballroom so if you want somewhere to go before your concert starts I'd suggest this place. Mixed crowd and amazing DJ. Light menu.... nothing to heavy on the menu and they're...
Modern. Clean. Convenient. Friendly.
Only thing I would request is a chair instead of just a lap tray in bed.
The room was the tinniest I have ever stayed in. For the same price I could have stayed at the Westin. The over night staff was very rude to a friend of mine. I would not recommend this hotel to anyone.
AWESOMELY COOL HOTEL!! Great vibe, great bars, great food, and great staff!! Have stayed here many times - incredibly convenient to everything and just the right mix of comfort, care, and steampunk. Not outrageously priced either. Mimosas on draught, excellent cocktails, we do Moxy every time we hav...
Great designer hotel smack in the middle of Manhattan. Will be back for sure!
We had a great stay at the Moxy Hotel at the beginning of March. As a family, the rooms have just the right size. There aren't too many of them, but as we're always on the move in New York, that's not a problem.
The atmosphere is modern, with maps and codes everywhere, but you get used to it, what ...
++ Nice rooftop bar with a view on the Empire state building. - crowded, hard to sit
A well placed hotel, just steps from Time Square, close to metro lines and train station. Industrial type decoration very nice, which attracted us. The rooms are small and lack storage, the kingsize bed just the width of the room that was to be 2,20m, as well as two suitcases in the little clearance...
I m not personally a fan of the marriott s branding of this brand, but I decided to give the Times Square one a chance after having an ok experience at the FiDi one. Turned out to be a mistake.
Pros: Location. If you want to be in midtown, this place is great
Cons:
- Check in process. Was really ...
Loved the location of the hotel. Close enough to popular tourist locations and multiple train stops. The room was smaller than usual hotel rooms but great amenities and we enjoyed the restaurants and bars. Good ambience but relatively loud outdoors, but that's the city. I would definitely go back.
Had a ball revisited the museme of natural history went for a carriage ride aroynd central park went to the empire state building saw macys and where the ball drops ate some pizza and a smoothie took the lirr back to long .Island suffolk county a full day
I would highly recommend this hotel to anyone visting the Manhattan area! The hotel was about a 5-6 min walk from Penn Station.
We stayed here because I was running the NYC marathon, and I will say the hotel was the most accommodating I ve ever seen. We checked in about 4 hours early and were gra...
Keep a tap on your tab. Last week I was charged for $253 in advance for the Express entry, however 9n top of it, I was charged for another $70 which was because may he the bartender thought TV tha TV I am too drunk and she charged my card.
I do not recommend it. Some days noisy, it looks like a disco. Several days they didn't clean the room and we had to ask for it. No comment.
Employee quote: "customer comfort is not a priority with us". Awesome theme and interior decoration, but a lot left to desire.
Fantastic from check in to check out. Super comfortable bed n room control made it easy to get the room temp just right. Bathroom plenty big. Room decor utilized the space perfectly. The welcome drink at the bar was an added bonus.
Equidistant between MSG and Times Square, this hotel is located perfectly. The cozy room reminded me of the cabin of a cruise ship but quite comfortable. No pool but mini golf on the roof? Yes please. What really sets this place apart though is the Moxy s outstanding staff, especially concierge Cry...
Clean quiet rooms. Downside is that my room was not tidied up after the first night. This may be standard but I wasn't made aware.
Rooms too small and very loud during the night. Staff at elevator was quite rude, very long waiting times at elevator. No real benefits as Titanium Marriott Bonvoy member
Everything was boarded up for my stay and I couldn't even tell if it was open or not until I noticed a couple of people entering through a small door on the side. It was pretty clean in the room though small parts of the sheets were torn. When I was thirsty and inquired about water, they told me the...
Enjoy the experience. Lights action and a social day or nite extravaganza, especially during the holidays
Wow! Just Wow! We are truly amazed! We have never experienced a better hotel. The staff is Young, charismatic, and Helpful at every turn. You can always find help when you need it! Their bar/restaurant staff is out of this world courteous and makes you feel comfortable and pleased. Everything we wan...
Funky hotel but overpriced drinks and rubbish rooftop bar.
Good location but wow talk about small rooms. Nice flat screen tv....that can touch with your toes (literally) while laying on bed.
Broken glass everywhere and nobody care about it!!!!
Lots of different options for food and entertainment.
Was not a place I enjoyed to stay at. Our room was on 14th floor,so really close to roof top bar from which you can hear loud music all night long. Because of that we were tired during the day and couldn't explore alk the best places in NYC.
Room was small but cozy, with extra chairs and table, alth...
Absolutely hated the way the way the staff treated myself as well as my husband. Customer service is just terrible. Staff are extremely attitudinal and makes you feel extremely unwelcome. The bedrooms are extremely small. Its almost like you are sleeping in your bathroom everything is just so crampe...
Great staff and clean rooms. The rooms are let's say... cozy (a polite way to say small).
The great thing about this hotel is that it's walking distance from Bryant Park, Times Square, and all the great restaurants on 42nd.
Fun atmosphere. Both VIP and Lounge (more casual than the VIP club area) areas have accessible bars, but if you're looking for the exclusive factor, the VIP section is where you want to be.
Extremely disappointed with our stay. The double room is just wide enough for the bed. They don't put this one on the website. Nowhere do they state that there are no closet or dressers in any of the rooms, therefore you have nowhere to put your clothes, which is a challenge when staying for several...
Would be great for a weekend in the city; not ideal for business travelers
Clean, quiet, design : everything is made to make you feel that you're in a part of your home
Great place and location, staff are amazing, super cute (tiny) rooms but clean and modern, you shouldn't be in there much anyway it's NYC! Bar is great, free coffee for breakfast what more do you need?!
My friend and I arrived here on 10.31.2020 for an overnight stay. We weren t even particular about luxury since we only came to NYC for an event. EVEN SO, the standards here are akin to a hostel and this hotel chain has no business being mentioned in the same sentence as MARRIOTT (unless their sta...
Chic hotel near Penn Station. I will try to stay here whenever I get to NYC.
Hotel Clean and new, but not 4 *: very small rooms without fridge and kettle
Omg so nice an smells so good I loved it here I was visiting a friend definitely recommended this hotel..
All I wanted to do is sleep! Simple right! Well in this hotel the last thing ur going to be able to do is that! I was on the tenth floor and the music was as loud as if i was on the roof top! Never staying here again and definitely wont be recommending it to anyone that wants to be able to rest at n...
All very satisfying. Impeccable service with excellent Italian language
This place has a lot of moxy. Especially associate Jamal.
Access to the roof bar wasn't obtainable and the room was incredibly SMALL But might be cool for a younger person
It s like sleeping in a fancy prison cell if that s your thing. At least the rooms are clean and recently renovated. I also found the staff to be very friendly and upbeat.
Convenient location though the Penn station neighborhood is not the most "scenic". Rooms are small but we'll thought out, clean, and stylish. Gets a little bit noisy if you are sensitive to that.... But it's midtown.
Delicious food, good serving restaurant! What else I can say?
Home and quality service, the hotel is ideally positioned to visit New York as a whole
Always love staying at the Moxy. Small rooms but great prices in the heart of the Times Square district.
Review of the rooftop bar. New rooftop bar with stylish decor. Cocktails were pretty good as was service. Great views of the empire state building by night.
Great bar space on the second floor for quick business meetings/ hangout while overlooking timessquare
Nicely located. Renovated. Rooms are small but functional. Nice gym. Lobby music is very loud. Freat rooftop bar
Good design but the restaurant and bar needs upgrades.
Very nice and clean hotel. The staff are very kindly and helpful.
Is close to the Subway and Penn Station.
Small room but brand new. Their elevator takes forever to come
Reviewing for the rooftop bar only! Bar staff were not very attentive, drinks were not that great. But it s a rooftop bar, fun to visit.
I enjoyed my stay there. The amenities are kinda bare bones but that's the niche they're going for. And it's a couple block walk to times square.
You should just turn to it, but it is a super cozy place quite centrally
Very neat and clean place. Amazing room. Feels/Smells like brand new. Great location. Friendly and nice staff. Thank you!
Nice venue with fun circus theme. Good drinks, but the food options were uninteresting.
Great for an over night stay. The prices were surprisingly low for the quality of the hotel. Did not like staying on the 17th floor with their night club directly above us. It's open til 4 AM but they do provide ear plugs. I really dislike the location but that's just me.
Ashley is fantastic! Work with her and your stay will be amazing!
Modern rustic 2nd floor bar and restaurant. Very cool place to meet for drinks.
Great location. Stylish lobby and attentive staff.
Rating based on a double room.
The room is small and compact yet functional, love the furnitures that hung on the wall. Bed is small for two person, though.
Rain shower is really comfy!
Room was also not 10/10 cleaned - pee stains on toilet bowl, shirt of previous guest left in drawer. Would not recommend if you re looking for a peaceful environment - gets rowdy cause for supper club restaurants in same building.
Went for the bar and it's sooooo cozy. The decoration are stylish and the hotel staff also friendly and helpful.
I love the hotel but the young white guy in the front was a bit rude. Not really welcoming.
Everyone should read this response from Alex this is what I Mean by the 5 star review this place was amazing and truly unique. If you want not your average hotel I would go here anytime I go to NYC this is where Ill be staying over and over. Thanks for the great experience Alex Ill see you soon!!!
Had the Double Bar Burger and the Mac & Cheese both were really good
Excellent hotel, location and very kind and professional staff.
Solid hotel that works for me, but wouldn't be great for others (like some of my older business colleagues). The rooms are small and my sink didn't drain very well. I liked the hip and humor to this place, but it also felt like the hotel has to be hip to hide the small spaces and lack of amenities. ...
Shots are $16. Bartender didn't disclose price until after purchase. Never spent $32 for two shots and won't ever again. Two lemon drop Tito's vodka shots cost more than a bottle of top shelf vodka. Female bartender was very rude and dismissive when questioning the overpriced shots. Do not drink at ...
