Monkland Tavern

We picked up a delicious meal at the Monkland tavern. Their team has put together a market with many unique products. Great job!

One of Montreal best kept secret. The Monkland Tavern is an amazing restaurant. I always love going there with friends. The food is always great the service impeccable and the atmosphere relaxed.

Monkland street has a very unique vibe to it and the Tavern is one of the main reasons why.

A must in my opinion

Very nice place!! The ambiance is cozy and classy. We received an excellent service. They were very accommodating given the fact we came with a wheelchair. (A client was very annoyed and complained to the poor waiter because he was too close of the wheelchair) but the waiter never put pressure on us. The food was perfectly cooked and served hot. We had the shrimp and a beef plate. Desserts are excellent too ( the cookie is a very comforting dessert you will want to hug).
This is fully accessible! So rare in this area so enjoy!!
Can't wait to go back this summer!

One of my fave spots on Monkland, wouldve given them 5 stars but they killed my putanesca dish and another dish too, kept changing menu. Cool spot to relax and chill with your group of friends. even a nice out door terrase.

Have been before and food/ambiance usually very good. Went yesterday with a friend to catch up. Ordered drinks and light dishes. Loved the Crostini and bufala with tomatoes. All organic local grown vegetables. Very impressive. Thank you Sarah.

Amazing food and amazing service! Came here with some friends for boyfriend s birthday. I wish I took pictures to share but the food was absolute spectacular and the drinks were great too. I love this neighborhood! Make sure to check their daily features and enjoy the menu while it lasts as they swap and change menu items often
