It offers a glimpse of unusual French life ... and it is so much because it certainly cannot be said that they are not. He thinks of the premises of Bologna in via del pradello and of a French artist who at any moment pulls out a canvas and paints, with a beer in his hand.

At the crossroads of the center and the station, the LU is from the outside magnificent and inside: modern, cozy, pleasant. It always offers a multitude of free, year-round exhibitions. The library is well supplied, do not forget the photo booth at the back of the room to immortalize the day!

I stopped by to eat after a walk.

The place is very popular for eating so it is better to book if you want to be on the terrace. View of the Erdre and historic site steeped in history.

The dishes are plentiful and the service fast.

If you have a train to take or an exhibition and you want to eat not far away, that's fine.

p.s: The salad deserves a little more seasoning.

About Lu

Le Lieu unique est un centre culturel, devenu scène nationale, créé à Nantes le 1er janvier 2000.

Lu: A Cultural Hub for Art and Entertainment

Lu is a cultural center that has become a national stage, located in the heart of Nantes, France. Founded on January 1st, 2000, Lu has been a hub for art and entertainment for over two decades. The center is known for its unique blend of contemporary art exhibitions, live performances, concerts, theater productions and more.

The building itself is an architectural masterpiece that was once an old biscuit factory. It was transformed into a cultural center by Patrick Bouchain and Jacques Dubois who wanted to create a space where people could come together to experience different forms of art.

One of the main attractions at Lu is its contemporary art exhibitions. The center hosts several exhibitions throughout the year featuring works from both established and emerging artists from around the world. These exhibits are carefully curated to showcase different themes or styles that challenge visitors' perceptions about what constitutes "art."

In addition to visual arts, Lu also offers an impressive lineup of live performances ranging from theater productions to dance shows. The stage at Lu has hosted some of the most renowned performers in France as well as international acts.

Music lovers will also find plenty to enjoy at Lu with its diverse range of concerts featuring everything from classical music to jazz and rock bands. The acoustics in the venue are top-notch making it one of the best places in Nantes to catch live music.

Apart from hosting events within its walls, Lu also takes part in various community outreach programs aimed at promoting arts education among young people. These programs include workshops on painting, sculpture-making or even learning how to play musical instruments.

Overall, Lu is much more than just another cultural center; it's a place where people can come together regardless of their background or interests and experience something new while being surrounded by like-minded individuals who share their passion for creativity and expression through art.

If you're looking for an unforgettable cultural experience during your visit to Nantes then look no further than Lu!
