Great food. Scotch eggs are a must try. Decent beer menu but only criticism is that the newer interesting beers are always just gone.. Highly recommend however. Great whiskey range.

Definitely worth every penny for me. Large selection of whiskey and beer, the food was really very good! Too expensive is rather relative, what is cheap in Dublin? Chicken Kiev, highly recommended, very tender and super delicious. Nearby parking spaces are free on the roadside.

Surprisingly good food in a restaurant tucked at the back of the bar. Scotch Egg was delicious, as was the Boar burger. Only let down was the chowder, but not enough to spoli the rest of the dinner.

I had not a reservation but first person told me was not a problem. 75% of the tables empty but, at 6.30pm, they didnt find a table for 1 person till 9pm and they dont serve dinner (just aperizers) on the counter (completely empty).

We were visiting from the States and made reservations here for our Thanksgiving dinner. Everyone throughly enjoyed their meals and desserts, and the service was great. We had the mushrooms, lamb, and chicken entrees. The desserts were fantastic too!
Went there yesterday without a reservation. They were really helpful and managed to squeeze us in despite being very busy on a Friday evening. Food was absolutely amazing and staff was great, will definitely come back.

Such a good gastro pub in a retro/ hipster area of the city! Well worth a visit and I would highly recommend it, it is one of my favorites.
If your in the area, I would recommend a pint of Guinness in the cobblestone, don t be deterred by the exterior it is a gem.
Service was poor. There was a mix up with our order and some food was very late coming whereas others sat in front of their food watching it go cold. When I did have the ham hock it was tough and salty. I didn t eat it. Very disappointing.

Great pub! We got the haddock and a huge pot of moules and frites and everything was delicious. We also ordered dessert but it hadn't come out in a while--when we asked about it, they gave it to us for free! The seasonal crumble with spiced ice cream was amazing, as was the salted caramel sundae.

Great spot to have a drink with friends or with the love of your life. They have a great selection of beers or spirits, no cocktails though. It is a nice warm pub, with friendly staff. All in all, it is quite cozy.
