It takes several emails and phone calls to get a response. They continue to charge late fees when there shouldn t be a late fee. I have been told twice that the problem with the software would be fixed so it wouldn t continue to be a problem. It s still a problem.

They are the absolute worst to work with. They never answer their calls or return voicemails or emails. They file judgments against people and then don't even keep record of them so that they can show it satisfied. Every time I call mysteriously everyone is at lunch. Terrible terrible customer service. I would never rent a place if I knew that Kier Management managed it!! Look out and protect yourself against these guys!

kier 'management' can't keep a live manager on site. rules not enforced. children left running wild because parent(s) don't discipline. no one cares if the kids are making life miserable for other tenants. and the kids know it. ice, children out all times of the night, injuries. complaints are ignored.

and how much federal money is kier bringing in per unit? the feds ought to take a poll of residents. if there was an alternative, kier would be empty in my opinion.

I worked for this company for a little over 8 months and I honestly disliked every second of it. I was a site manager and I wasn't allowed to do anything, not even something as simple as give a landlord reference for someone I personally moved out and filed all the paperwork for. The level of Micro-management was ridiculous. Upper management was passive aggressive, vague, and each had there own rules on how something had to be done. Numerous times I was reprimanded for taking the steps I was told to take because the other liked it done a completely different way. VERY INCONSISTENT!!

The last straw was when my Regional Manager AND Human Resources sat me down and tried to cut my hours to under 30 per week, when I was 8 and 1/2 months pregnant, because I could no longer clean the nasty apartments on my own (mind you I had a doctors note stating she didn't want me bending and twisting for 8 straight hours NOR being around all the cleaning chemicals constantly). I had to go so far as to threaten to file a case with the Labor Commission to get them to back off.

The only positive out of the whole experience was that I was able to get my foot in the door, as far as property management, and I got an AMAZING job with a company that not only cares for its employees, but its residents too.

I WOULD NOT RECOMMEND WORKING FOR KIER!!

Do yourself a favor and do not rent from them. They are not ethical. The staff is very nasty over the phone. We had to break our lease early and they over charged us and then when I didn't have the funds right then they sent us to collections right off the bat. They added $200 more on as a penalty. STAY AWAY.

This company has declined over the last 3 years and continues to decline. Horrible support to those of us living at their apartment complexes, and they can t keep workers to help their tenants maintain nice apartments. Was promised a new stove 4 months ago, and only have 2 months remaining on our lease. They also BARELY passed the HUD inspection at one of their properties, and FAILED another. This company is only going to get worse. If you re thinking about renting from them, I would think twice.

Absolutely horrible management!!! They literally said its not their fault that my fiance is mentally handicap and couldnt read the pre move in paperwork before they made him sign it. They are also coming after us for damages in our unit that were there before we moved in. Never rent from them!!!!
