Nice bridge, always had a fascination with the Golden Gate and walking it was almost a surreal experience. Walked from the side of Fort Point all the way to the Vista Point sign on the other side, with nothing to do there we turned around and walked back to Fort Point. Come to find two months later ...
Beautiful bridge, with fantastic views. As touristy as it is, it's a must-visit in San Francisco. Don't let fog scare you away from the bridge; you can get some dramatic photos on foggy afternoons!

We visited this place fee times, this iteration we took a boat tour that went straight under the bridge. This bridge is a classic, you can drive it or you can walk it, you can't go wrong.
I would not recommend walking or biking over if you're afraid of heights.

Amazing experience. Convenience to park (fee) and scroll around taking photos. When we went was Saturday morning so it was no traffic at all.
What ever happened to predictability, the milk man the paper boy evening tv, you miss your old familiar friends, waiting just around the bin!!!

A must-have for anyone visiting San Francisco. We walked there and it's a lovely (if slightly long) walk from the Pier 39 area. As long as you manage to avoid the mist - otherwise you won't see it!

An iconic attraction and a feat of engineering. Worth walking across to the north side and then crossing under and then up the hill to get the opposite view.
Massive construction, beautiful view of the ocean and Alcatraz prison. Great to walk through the whole bridge in the strong winds.
We went on a Sunday evening in mid-August.... It was all foggy and we could barely see the bridge.... Everything was closed around the place... Get a nice jacket when you are visiting... It gets quite cold outside
This place is a must see place in SFO. Stunning views of the bridge surrounded by the nature, the mountains and the water below brings a joy and calm to the mind and the eyes. Good place to walk and spend time with friends and family.

You have to come earlier than 9 am if you don't want to drive around just to look for parking space. We did try it twice but no luck.
Architecture is beautiful. Carry swear shirts and beanie, Avoid visiting during foggy days, as you will not be able to get the complete view of the bridge or click photos.

Very beautiful historic bridge, great view upon San Francisco and areas around it. Its quite long for walking so be prepared, it attracts many tourist and can be crowded. Also it is quite windy up there so be prepared as well.

I drove accross the Golden Gate on my birthday it was night time a beautiful trip with friends.
Get dropped of at Crissy Field, great views from this location, plus you'll be near restrooms and a warning hut (coffee shop), which all are part of the old military base. Another bonus from this location are the views of Alcatraz.
