My experiences with the group at Indie Source have been top notch. They are responsive, professional and make even the smallest jobs I bring to them a priority. What more can you ask for in a vendor partner?....I can't think of a thing I would change. Would recommend them most highly.

I started my Underwear line "Flexwood Underwear" with no experience in the fashion world. I had a vision and Indie Source made it come to life! Every person that I worked with from sampling to production was helpful in every way possible. Any questions or concerns I had were takin into consideration. If any issue occurred, we always found a way to solve it. Indie Source always made me feel top priority, connecting me with the right people when it came to building my brand . I came to Indie Source in a serious jam- my current manufacturer told me 4 weeks before my deadline that they weren t going to finish the project. Jesse from Indie jumped into action and David got me a full production run before my deadline, and at a competitive PPU! The product was great quality, and though we still need to work out some sizing issues for future productions, I suspect this will be a long partnership between Indie and my brand. Would certainly recommend- as long as you are on top of your side of the deal, these guys will get you an awesome product.

The one star reviews are shocking to me- maybe they are competitors in disguise.

Indie Source is a great company that has helped many of my friends with production of the clothing. I have discuss with many clients the process and Indie source has gone above and beyond to always do whatever is necessary to help them. Jesse is their CEO and has always been a gentleman whenever we have talked business or been in contact with each other.

Was promised the world when working with the sales team on my project. Once deposit was made and i was a "customer", experience changed drastically. Communication all but stopped, sometimes waiting nearly a month to hear from the project manager assigned to me. Project was never completed, Indiesource started asking for additional moneys almost immediately, despite providing a quote during the "customer acquisition process", which seemed irrelevant. Despite not receiving any of the items promised to me by the indie source team, no refunds have been issued. Money and a year waiting around completely wasted, beware.

I worked with Rebecca for my kick-off meeting and it was awesome! She helped me get all of my thoughts and my vision pointed in the right direction. She was extremely helpful to someone who is new to the industry.

I came to IndieSource with a concept and a home-made sample. They used their expertise to source great materials and height quality construction. Then they manufactured my purchase order with no mistakes. Highly recommended!

I seriously cannot say enough good things about IndieSource and Rebecca!!! I reached out for a development meeting to talk about starting my clothing line and ever since I have been so impressed. I was in between Indie and another company and after my meeting with Rebecca, I was so confident that Indie Source was the better option...3 months later, I am still just as sure. Rebecca was so insightful and more helpful than I could have ever imagined throughout the development process. She made me feel secure and informed, as all of the meetings, invoices, and followups were extremely organized. Indie Source has made the process of launching a fashion company way less confusing than it would have been doing it all myself. I would recommend ANYONE to Indie Source a thousand times over.

Very friendly, very professional presentation, and looks great on paper. However, they are not honest. The first question I asked during my Kickoff meeting was if they would show ALL costs up front. They said "Yes"! Now, when I thought I had saved enough of my hard earned money to start my production sample and patterns, I didn't. Now, they tell me that fabrics, hardware, and set up are all separate costs. Also in my quote, the retainer fee is broken up across four models I thought about doing, but I had decided on only doing one. That was not clearly stated or even implied. So that cost quadrupled. Now my production sample will cost 42% more than I was led to believe.

I am taking my time and my money elsewhere.

Take every 1-star review seriously. They are all accurate reviews and not just angry people. I know because I too read the reviews and took them with a grain of salt. Here's my story. The price was steep roughly 6K for development. Other companies in the area are significantly cheaper - strike one.

Indie Source claims to be transparent and honest which is fundamentally false. In development they quote you on a price but conveniently leave out the additional fees for marking and grading when you transition into the production phase. Marking/Grading is normal, the fee you didn't expect upfront isn't - strike two

1 year later pre-production samples have been approved but there's one minor error that needs to be fixed and the only good part of Indie Source - the pattern maker - fixes the issue easy peasy. I receive the pre-production invoice and it has an additional fee for the pattern fix - strike three.

Indie Source doesn't actually manufacture your product they outsource it to a local factory here in LA or China which is kept under wraps - Strike four.

Since my project managers had left, I got the wonderful misfortune of the COO Jesse being my project manager. He sent me a quote for production after I sent him my total budget for this project. He even said in his message to me "This is what we can do." I agreed to his proposal which was $200 more than the budget I gave him but hey no big deal. I paid the 50% deposit plus the surprise pattern change fee I mentioned earlier and was under the assumption I would just sit and wait for manufacturing to complete while I work on other aspects of bringing my product to market.

Skip ahead to Nov 2020 - two years after we began this journey and I receive a final invoice for $2,300 more than I expected. That number is not the remaining balance owed on the 50% deposit I paid. I immediately let Jesse know the invoice was incorrect and not what I expected. We went through roughly 40 emails in which he claims to have made a math error and it's totally reasonable for his error to be my responsibility - strike five.

My experience was on the verge of a lawsuit until I decided to focus on my goal of getting to market. I realized I had been putting up a fight to make these people behave honorably and provide a good customer experience to remedy the error that was their fault. Instead I was told I was looking for a freebie and forced to pay more than I budgeted. OH and watch out for that sneaky production service agreement where they give themselves room to make more or less product than you order so they can add a little cherry to the top of your final invoice. Yep, I got hit with an extra $900 charge for overages in addition to having to pay for Jesse's initial "math error".

Should you ignore this review and my experience with this company and chose to work with these people. Please retain counsel. My attorney was vital to me in this experience. Have an attorney review every single document they send you. Make them countersign everything they make you sign. Scrutinize every single email, every single number and every single piece of print rather it be large or small print. Go into the relationship knowing from the beginning that Indie Source is NOT your ally. They are not there to support you or advocate for you or help you start up. They do not care about you or your precious start up capital in the slightest bit. They ll play on your emotions and your love for your brand or product and bleed you as dry as possible. I have spent many months enraged and even in tears. They are not worth that. TAKE YOUR BUSINESS SOMEWHERE ELSE!!!!!

After working with blank t-shirts for over a year we knew it was time to make the switch to custom cut and sew garments. The team at Indie has been so incredibly helpful in providing the proper mentorship and guidance to actually making our vision a reality while gaining a detailed understanding of the apparel industry each step of the way. Huge shouts to Rebecca for offering impeccable guidance in ensuring our new collection meets all of our sustainability goals and not settling for anything less! So so important to be conscious of our environmental footprint, especially in this industry.

All bad reviews are correct. Unprofessional and super overpriced...Horrible, horrible customer service.. Do not keep promised timelines... Quality of their work is so bad, it's unbelievable! Do yourself a favor and invest your money somewhere else!!!!

She goes above and beyond to reply with helpful and kind answers. I appreciate that she was able to get the ball rolling so quickly for our project. This lady at Indie Source promised to return my sample, but it's been almost 4 months and I still haven't received it. Their price is extremely high compared to other sewing contractors in the same area. Overall, it was a bad experience and I do not recommend this company!!

I've worked with Indie Source on several projects and have never been disappointed. They are true professionals, are very responsive, and their end product is beautiful. Their prices are also very competitive. I would use them again and highly recommend them.

Indie source indeed has the resources to get your items produced but there customer service is horrible. The sales representative was not able to answer some of my basic questions and was only concerned about booking my consultation which is a little under $200. I was very excited to meet with the consultant but once I got to the call not only did she rush over everything, she did not answer my questions and talked over me on multiple occasions. At the end of the call she started yelling and became very disrespectful. I am very disappointed and unfortunately was unable to get my money back for my consultation given my experience.

We ve worked with the Indie Source team for over a year, and all of them have been very professional and friendly. The company does everything asked of them with an incredible standard of excellence. From conception to manufacturing, I'd recommend Indie Source to any fashion designer looking to go to market.

Indie Source makes pretty much every type of clothing known to man: woman s, men s, kids, sportswear, swimwear, outerwear and they also work with inventors! Making products that do not exist yet! Working with Indie Source has been a fantastic experience. I onboarded with Brandon, who always found answers to the questions I asked. The process of taking someones thoughts and turning them into a reality is not a simple tasks. During the development phase of creating my first line of clothing we were faced with many unforeseen hurdles, Jillian Clark (my product manager) did a phenomenal job keeping my project on track and helping through several issues. There is no possible way I could have brought my line to production without her and the Indie Source group. Hoping this is the beginning of a long relationship with Indie Source.

I was so happy to see how quickly Indie Source reprioritized their nimble manufacturing practices to accommodate the urgent need for COVID PPE in the first weeks of the shut down. When everyone is feeling like they are under-protected and regret not hoarding face masks just to walk their dog, Indie Source alerted me that I can not only purchase affordable, well-made, and simple cotton fabric masks to meet my day to day public activities, but buying one also donates one to those less fortunate! In such trying times, it s gives me great confidence to wear my Indie Source mask into a public space, ensured that it is well-made, with stylin locally-sourced excess designer textiles, but also know someone somewhere else in America is also keeping safe in a stylish way.

Props to Jesse, Zach and all of Indie Source for meeting the call and converting production to address public health needs in such trying times!

I ve loved working with Indie Source so far! I ve been waiting three years to get my line set up and met with a few different places in LA but when I walked into Indie Source and met with Jarahme there was a warm and welcoming vibe and instantly knew this was the manufacturing partner I wanted. My protect manager Janine has been good about communication and Lana, the patternmaker is a gem! They all worked so hard to help me make my dreams come true and I just received the samples back and absolutely LOVE them.
