The food is over the top. Every bite is so flavorfull. The service is amazing, great location and feel.

This was one of my favorite places i would eat here every other day. I once went in with my husband and my pasta arrived and right when i looked at it i saw a blonde long hair we both have black hair and so did the server. we asked for the manager she came and she was very rude and she said she didnt see anything wrong or a hair in it, i kept pointing at the hair but she said she didnt see it and walked away so i didnt even eat the pasta because of the hair but still had to pay for it. Her attitude was very unprofessional. "They customer is always right." The guy servers and bussers are great the women are rude.
We've been coming here for 17 years. Whenever we're in Santa Barbara, we make a visit. We've never had any disappointments with the food and there is so much to choose from. The portions are sizable and the prices are reasonable. There's a full bar, outside seating as well. On a weekend, it's usually crowded so allow time to wait.
This has always been my favorite restaurant in Santa Barbara California!! Today they didn't dissapoint. I placed a take out order and they had everything ready for me in 15 minutes. They always provide excellent customer service. The bartender always helps out with serving tables as well. They are open for dine in and they have patio seating. If you are craving the best Italian food of your life, then you must come here. I drove over 2 hours and it's more than worth it!!
Chicken Alfredo was bland. Had to ask for bread 3 times before ever getting it. Never got the water we asked for. Normally a really good experience, wasn't impressed with tonight's wait staff.
Gotta love the bread! I used to love this place, but last time I came, the food was only okay, and the service was pretty spotty. Good price for Italian food on State St though
Pass 'cucci and try one of the many other Italian restaurants nearby.... Chase, Ca' Dario, Olio e Limone, Mollie, Paxtis Pizza and you will probably be better off. Although busy, this place has only average cuisine and despite a lovely ambience, without their notching up the quality, i just can't recommend it. Ciao.
Pascucci s food is delicious!! One of our families favorite places to eat in Santa Barbara. However, the last two times we have been there we were turned away at the door. What business turns customers away? The first time we thought it was a little weird, but then to have it happen a 2nd time 3 months later. We would have been willing to wait but were turned completely away since they were short a cook. Great food but a little disappointment in the management.
Great food and service. The bartender knows how to mix drinks and for the most part the service is fast. The food is great and the atmosphere is nice.
We ended up here because a regular haunt of ours was too crowded, and we've been looking for an Italian place.
We were not prepared for Pascucci.
If I could give this an extra star or two, I would. Very reasonably priced (not the "Downtown Priced" you'd expect), friendly and attentive staff, wonderful atmosphere and decor, and...
The. Food. Is. Amazing.
Some of the best Italian food I've ever had in a restaurant, hands down. I had the ravioli sampler and it blew my mind. Others' food was equally amazing.
We'll be back. Often.
The food is great the building itself could use some help.. the mens bathroom was a scary experience. They really pack you in if your with a larger crowd. Like chairs banging into eachother pack in. Only saw our server maybe 4 times in the hour and a half we were there. Got really thirsty waiting for him. I got the San Marco which was great.
Our regular spot, and we are back yet again. Great wine, free garlic bread (get the
Marinara to go with it! ) and fantastic people watching ;)
Price was good and food was pretty good as well worth the money. Oh and the burger was really good
Very poor service. Food is still good but place is shabby.
an Italian Restaurant
I asked them pasta fuchini, in addition to the bad taste aching my stomach
This restaurant has apparently gone downhill. Our party of 4 (Grandma/Mama/5yr daughter/1yr daughter) walked in & someone offered us a table right by the front door (there were several empty tables) we said OK & sat down. We were ignored for maybe 10 min, then someone sat some bread on our table not speaking or even making eye contact& scurried away as my daughter was asking for water. Several more minutes elapsed, still no one had come to our table. So Mama got up, walked over to where @ least 4-5 employees were gathered & asked if we had to get our own waters. They said someone would be right over. The man that came to our table did not ask to help us but immediately insinuated we were impatient & he was too busy. That did it for us, . Mama said we are leaving. What happened to the days when the customer was important. This was not our 1st time to eat there, but definitely our last.
I had the smoked Salmon with capers lemon sauce and it was Very Delicious! My husband had the Lasagna was Outstanding!
I'm being generous with 3 stars but the service made up for the less than par food. If you like greasy over salted Italian food then this joint is for you.
That lasagna!!! The warm apple pie with ice cream.....OMG!!!
Really liked this place. Service: Great, our waiter was on top of things. Anticipated what we wanted. Environment: Neat! Kind of cozy, but had a much larger dining room in the back. Decor was colorful and kind of crazy, but cool. Food: We really enjoyed it. The bread is awesome. We got the Garlic and Brie appetizer which was one of the best appetizers I've had in a while. They give you a whole wedge of Brie, which was awesome. The main course had a lot of flavor, and it WAS quite oily, which i know some these diet-crazy people of California may not like. But that didn't bother me much. Portions are generous. Would definitely go back!
The free garlic bread was amazing. The main courses were ok, nothing special. I doubt that their pasta is made there. The service was good, but the waitress seemed rushed. And it was a little pricey but not bad. The restaurant itself is very beautiful and family friendly. Overall, I liked it.
You just cant go wrong with this place. The food is excellent. The prices are great for the atmosphere and food you get. I've been to much more expensive restaurant's and the food or vibes did not compare. I have not been to there new location but im sure its just as good.
The food is always superb, however the service was horrible (they were NOT busy) and the women's restroom was filthy, paper towels & tp all over, garbage can overflowing, no sanitary seat covers, water backed up in sink. Disgusting.
Charming decor, excellent service, extensive menu full of delicious choices...
Great food and atmosphere, but we made 5 wine selections before they had one in stock.
The food is great. I used to frequent often and moved. Just came back after 10 years and it hasn't missed a beat. Love the decor and staff
Excellent chicken piccata. Slow service, but made up for it with half-naked dancers.
pretty good, Americanized italian food, but I like it. A very busy place,
Great food, but the service is weird as hell. A bunch of nonchalant old lady waitresses running around not really giving 2 turds about the people they re waiting on. If I was management, I d go recruit some of the good looking college chicks around here that are actually hungry for money and turn the attitude in this joint around.
***Nasty****Terrible Restaurant, deserves less then one star, Dirty, when you first walk in it looks like your walking right into Italy until you start realizing that the cushioned booths are filthy and the fancy curtains haven't been washed in ages. Lost my appetite just off of that. We ordered Spaghetti and it was obviously not fresh, appeared to be a few days old. Not acceptable. There are hundreds of other Italian Restaurants in Santa Barbara. This is not the one to go to.
italian food, yeah, so delicious. i give this spot a thumbs up. the service here is above par. it has a nice interior. food is similar to a place in san francisco i loved.
Cozy atmosphere and quite quirky. Great food and great service!
Helpful, friendly and overall great staff. The food, especially the garlic bread before the meal, was fantastic. Not that expensive either. When you walk in and talk to the staff you really get the feel of a real Italian restaurant.
Awesome Bolognese sauce. Intense flavor and great with their garlic bread which is dry and garlicky and does well to scoop up some sauce with.
Threw up after eating here and they refused to take it off my bill. Don t eat here. Idk what the hype is
Great local restaurant, Italian comfort food and great salads
My very favorite Italian restaurant in SB. A great Chicken Picatta dinner with cesar salad, dessert and a glass of wine for $20!! You can't beat that!! Great ambiance!! Try to catch a cozy table for 2 in front of the fireplace. Lovely!!
The only better thing here other than the food is with whom you are sharing it.
I have gone to Pascucci's many times in the past. I have always had great food and service. I went for dinner on Monday December 1st. I had the worst experience. The service was the worst ever they lost another person's credit card. They took forever to take our order. When we asked a blonde waitress to take our order she was rude to us. I had the worst experience ever. I will probably not go back.
Consistently delicious, cozy atmosphere, good service, and reasonable prices. What more can you ask for?
Loved it. A great place for a dinner for 10 in a nice atmosphere...
Wonderful pasta and great price on lunch specials. Chicken picata and lasagna are both great with very generous portions !
Nico our server was the best! Very attentive staff n delicious salmon.
Great food. Provided great packaging and maintained social distancing when handing over the food.
The absolute best! I have friends who drive from Camarillo to meet me there as it is so wonderful!!!!
Horrible service, decent food, dirty, the place needs to be deep cleaned.
Great service; a bit overpriced; the pasta dishes are wonderful!
The food is absolutely wonderful! The Venezia is amazing. I haven't been able to find it at any other Italian restaurant.
I grew up going here often and it's the best Italian food I've had! Awesome attentive service and large portions, much better than any Italian food I've had since.
This restaurant has always been a favorite of mine and my familys. The garlic bread is delicious, prices are reasonable, and the food is great! They do tend to run out of some items, so you might want to choose a backup dish before you order. The chicken Siena is delicious and the perfect sized portion.
Born and raised in Santa Barbara County and came to Pascussi for years. I have moved out of the county 10 years ago and returned expecting a great meal. Boy has the restaurant gone down hill. To start with we did not have a waitress for some time and when she finally did come to get us drinks, it took quite a while to get them. The bread arrived with our meal since they forgot it and they actually forgot the salad we ordered ahead of time so they packed it in a to go box for us. The food was average. The bathroom floor had water all over it from a possible flood. Very disappointed.
Slow service and the food is not as good as it used to be.
Great homemade Italian food, Great prices.
Thank you to our waiter,
Juvencio, our dinner was great . Check it out ask for

Lovely indoor atmosphere in the first dining area. My fiance and I were seated in a booth right in front of the fireplace. Service wasn't the most friendly ever, but ok enough. Good classic Italian flavors on the food. I tried the dinner special, which is a starter salad, half entree, dessert, and wine/beer option for under $25. Romantic atmosphere in the main area.
We waited about 30 minutes for a server to approach our table. Then, only after speaking with the hostess, did the server come take our drink order. The food was OK but the service could definitely improve.
Great tasty food, huge portions. Appetizers are fantastic. Reasonably priced.
I'm so disappointed. The service was horrible, and the two waitresses were bad mouthing about a customer and fighting behind our table for a while. Everything is run down and the food is so bland, aside from the Caesar salad. I rarely eat carbs and was out for a my cheat meal and it was a total waste. The garlic bread was good but y'all that service was atrocious and the food was like a boxed dinner. I wanted to leave so many times and wish I had.
HORRIBLE. Me and my family went to go eat at a nice Italian restaurant. We found this place at downtown so we decided to try it. It took forever for them to ask us for drinks. They brought my husband the wrong wine 2 times. My daughter got the wrong drink. And the food took forever to come. When my meal came it was so bad the chicken tasted like absolute garbage. When I got home I got so sick and tried to call and complain but the lady hung up in my face. We had such a horrible experience and I would recommend not bringing your family here and saving your money.
Hands down best Caesar salad I have ever had! Lasagna is also fabulous! Best Italian food in town.
The ravioli is to die for!! Try the Gorgonzola ravioli .....best ever!!!
Nice restaurant, the staff very kind certainly, but very little Italian taste in the dishes.
Quality of food was kind of 3.5 stars. Service was awesome. They had very delicious garlic bread as a side and I am a fan of garlic bread. No matter how much I asked for refill, they would bring more of it. The food was OK, nothing special. The restaurant is pretty big. Be sure to move around if you like. Reminded me of some Italian movies.
Best garlic bread I've ever had. Delicious food and great service
Lovely place, right in the heart of downtown Santa Barbara. If nothing else, you MUST try the flourless chocolate cake. I've died and gone to heaven!
Bland and overpriced for what you get. They must have a fan that blows garlic cooking odor onto state as the smell is much better than the food. Even had them cater an office even and everything was bland, overly creamy and under seasoned.
A little slow service, but great Italian food (with many more options than just pasta). Never been disappointed once my meal came. Also bombin garlic bread.
Go to Trader Joes, buy a fresh pasta and a jar of sauce and you'll have this food beaten by a mile.
Everything here is awesome! You fall in love with Italian food and your company here...bring a serious intent to try multiple items from the menu...YOU WILL NOT REGRET!
ABSOLUTELY EXCEPTIONAL!
Sincerely,
A NJ Italian
Everything I order is amazing and the bread is addicting.
Pascucci is one of my favorite places to dine on State St. The food is consistently delicious, the staff friendly, and the new location at 509 State is beautiful! Fave dishes include Pasta Pascucci and Chicken Picata. The soups are great too!
Good food, awful service. Bussers do most of the waiters' work, waiters are nowhere to be seen. Credit card was charged for more than the billed amount. After bringing up the issue, management appeared annoyed, and refunded less than the overcharged amount in cash, claiming they were unable to process a refund to the card.
I ordered the fish , it was overcooked and tasteless .
Great Italian food wonderful garlic bread great Caesar salads when they're busy. When they're not busy bread is cold and hard and service isn't as good. But the Italian food is the best in town.
U cant find better food for the price!! & u get alot!
