***BUYER BEWARE*** Cute homes built by a horrible contractor who has no business building anything. They cut corners everywhere then when your house starts to fall apart literally at the seams they refuse to help. Zero customer service and rude! Don't buy !!! You have so many other choices!

Beware of Online Fraud and Scams
Although indications are that most renters and home-seekers find use of online resources (including websites and email) for homes and apartments a significant convenience and asset, we also sometimes hear about suspicious or abusive practices by some seeking to take advantage of online users, websites, email, media and companies. Please read this Alert and use caution if you encounter anything that seems too good to be true or otherwise unusual or suspicious.

NOTE: Move does not participate in specific rental or housing transactions. If someone has told you otherwise, please use caution since this might well be a sign of a scam. For example, Move does not hold or deliver keys to apartments or homes, does not offer payment protection, does not certify apartments, complexes or homes, does not verify or certify that persons you are dealing with are legitimate, does not offer to hold deposits, earnest money, down-payments or other funds, does not offer escrow services and does not offer assurances or other guarantees regarding particular apartments, homes or related transactions. If you are dealing with someone in another country or city, or looking to buy or rent an apartment, condo or house in another country or city, be particularly aware of concerns like those referred to above (and in this Alert) since the other person might be trying to take advantage of you by exploiting the practical problems and inconveniences of geographic distance.

Transaction Safety Guidance
If something sounds suspicious, out of the ordinary, too easy or too good to be true, use caution because it might be a potential problem looking for a victim.

Does the rent seem surprisingly low? A check on similar housing or apartments in the same complex or neighborhood should help you determine what amount of rent is usual or to be expected. If the rent you are quoted is significantly less, you should use caution. It is possible there is a legitimate explanation, but surprisingly low rent can be a red flag for potential trouble be prepared to just say no to suspicious circumstances.

Know who you're dealing with online, including by email and websites.

It can be helpful, and serve to un-earth potential problems, to meet your prospective landlord, property manager or other transaction participant in person before renting or purchasing an apartment or home and before sending money or agreeing to send money. Dealing locally and in person with the other party to a transaction can help avoid many scams. For personal safety and other reasons, consider having one or more friends or companions accompany you, and be sure the meeting location is safe.

Beware of Geographic Distance.

If you are dealing with someone in another country or city, or looking to rent or buy in another country or city, be particularly aware of concerns like those referred to in this Alert since the other person might be trying to take advantage of you by exploiting the practical problems and inconveniences of geographic distance.

Avoid unusual forms of payment, or being rushed.

It can be risky to use a wire transfer service (such as Western Union or MoneyGram) or online escrow service to send a deposit, earnest money, down-payment, rent or other money relating to a rental or housing transaction. Use great caution if someone suggests you should send money in this way. Also be wary of being rushed into a decision to rent or buy an apartment or other housing, or to send a deposit, earnest money, down-payment, rent or other money. These are significant decisions, transactions and payments; if someone is rushing you, that could be a signal of a potential fraud or a scam.

Avoid renting or buying an apartment or other housing without actually seeing it first.

Before sending a deposit, earnest money, down-payment, rent or other money, you probably should visit and see the property first and confirm that everything about the property matches what was advertised, described or represented to you.

Absolutly pathetic build quality. Horrible customer Service. Had a home that they built. after close date entered home. was full of tools ladder and fixtures were not installed. Tolerated it 3 years. sold it after customer service refused to return to address as issues were mounting. values are inflated. neighbors slab cracked from front to back during build. the contractor replaced the tiles with carpeting. hows that for a cover up of lack of quality. NV build. research this company under BBB AVOID

Very awful experience with Harmony Homes! We were in the process of buying a home in BELLA PARK and the sales agent Ana (Anita) put the "wrong" brochure in our contract so as the house was being built, it was the WRONG ELEVATION than we had signed. She made no effort in even trying to fix the problem and just told us that she couldn't do anything about it. We had to drive up all the way to their corporate office because NO ONE would pick up the phone.

We got in touch with Colleen, Ana's manager, who tried to settle our issue by giving us an offer. However, their offer was so little compared to all the problems they caused. They pretty much were willing to let us go - didn't even try to work with us to stay or try to make us happy.

After writing them a review, she then reached out trying to diffuse the situation and apologized by not asking us what we want. We were hopeful that they were going to try and work with us but their offer was barely higher than their original offer.

RUN!! This company is definitely quantity over quality!! They did not have the buyer's best interest!

Not so happy with HH, since we have owned the house 2 years, the AC went out not once, but twice, covered by Ins, but the Freon wasn't, at 500$ a pop. shoddy workmanship in Kitchen, bathrooms, extras we paid for weren't installed like Farmhouse Kitchen sink, 750$ Kitchen vent to the outside! really, thats an option? whole house Cat5, and Livingroom home theater wiring not installed! and when it was, the ends weren't installed, just cut off wires!

I have had a Harmony home for just under 3 years now. I have to say firstly that I love my home layout. However aside from that the level at which they are will to cut corners to build a home quickly is ridiculous. Since I have had the home I have repeatedly complained about the upstairs AC. The representative harmony sent the first summer said that is was normal for the upstairs to be warmer and looked no further the next summer I again complain and they stated that it was out of warranty and to contact a AC repair company. I did and they simply refilled Freon and did not check for leaks (admittedly this is my fault). This past year I contacted another AC company Legacy Air (great company by the way) and they find a pipe that had not been welded at all in my attic. I contacted Harmony homes to at least assist in the financial damage since this was negligence on their part. Costing me $800 and roughly 21 lbs of Freon leaked in my attic (over the years). Also, when I went into the attic/crawl space there was a bunch of trash a bottles left behind from the builders. The final time the Harmony home warrant department denied me they did even give me the courtesy of a call they just text, which to me seems very unprofessional. That aside I had repeatedly asked them to repair my balcony rail which looks like it had been dragged behind the truck prior to installation. They kept telling me they would send someone to paint it an they never did. almost 3 years now. Admittedly I only asked three time but it should be more than one. I should have took it as a sing this was a bad company since they were even willing to show the home to me prior to sale in that condition. I just don't want anyone else to fall prey to them. When you spend so much money on a home you want piece of mind everything is functioning properly and not waiting for something to go wrong.
