Attended their annual sheep-shearing festival today. It was loads of fun! The actual shearing was cool - they demonstrated both electric and hand-cut shearing techniques - but that was a small part of the whole festival. It was great to spend the morning on the ground with my kids. We blew bubbles and had a picnic (taking all our trash out with us of course!).

we visited for a corn roast event. food was way overpriced (outside vendors, $4 for a single ear of corn?!) but music and crowd was fun. needs more promotion and focus to achieve potential
