Germania Insurance

I only gave 1 star because it wouldnt let me give 0. This company is the worst. They don't just screw you around on auto insurance, my mother has them for her home insurance.
her roof is leaking and damaging the rest of her house, after the last hail storm. shes called them 3 times, and each time they send a guy too fat to get into the attic and can barely climb the ladder to get on the roof. not only did he deny her claim (even though he could see where the water was leaking into the roof from inside the attic) he damaged the attic entrance area and did not report it! she now has to call and file a damage claim caused by their employee.

not that any of this matters, because he can't "see" any "visible" damage to the actual shingles (they aren't ripped off and there is no "visible" hole in the roof) this insurance company doesn't have to pay for any damages caused from the hail storm! even though the adjuster could see the water damage to the ceiling, see the water damage to the roof inside the attic, the roof is still not "damaged" because its not visible from the street. how convenient!

dealing with this company has been the worst experience ever. do yourself a favor and stay away from this company. germania insurance, you are fired as of Monday.

I m reading about customer service being top priority but it s the complete opposite that I m receiving. I ve dealt with a couple of other insurance companies and this is by far THE WORST. Emails are so vague (literally one sentence-see the image below) and it s frustrating and infuriating when I have to email back multiple times to get more info out of the rep when that could have been done in the first reply to me. The last email I got back was even left blank! I work in the customer service industry and the service that I m getting is a JOKE. I would NOT, you guys hear me? NOT recommend this insurance to anyone. Maybe they treat their actual customers better but from the looks of it, they don t look good in that department either.

Solid Texas based business , good customer service , promptly handles claims ,listens to customer concerns . Very satisfied over the past 25 plus years as a customer . THANKS

I have been a Germania customer for over 30 years with home, auto and life policies. I have found them to be highly efficient with exemplary customer service from both the head office in Brenham to my local office in Tomball. Many of the same employees have been in the Tomball office for the tenure of my association with Germania which gives me confidence in the company culture and comfort knowing they can address me with relative familiarity. I highly recommend them every chance I get!

Had been with Germania for several years. Another auto merged into my lane and scraped my vehicle. Though I fully explained to police and Germania, I now have an incident on my record that says "at fault". I would recommend taking your business elsewhere.

This is by far the worst insurance company, thankfully it's not mine but of the guy who was at fault. They changed my adjusters multiple times, a few without even telling me, I had to call to get that info.

One of the adjusters was horribly rude and condescending, probably because I'm young and they think they can take advantage.

They have been refusing to count my second job towards my payout even though I have provided plenty of evidence of it.

Then last week, still 5 months from the wreck, I received a call that my adjuster had lost paperwork. I sent a screenshot of all the dates I sent the paperwork and resent the paperwork. Then filed a complaint with the state board. One of my bills got sent to collections because I am not able to pay it.

The damages I have experienced from the wreck plus at the hands of this cut-rate insurance company have been astronomical. Writing this review is my next step in trying to get their attention to actually move forward with giving me my payout.

Absolutely pathetic company, first the insurance lobby pays off the representatives at the state and national level. Next step is the insurance no longer has to provide a good product/service because they hold you at gunpoint through the state and force you to pay them. They should be ashamed of themselves for robbing people of their money/rights. Matt is one of the drones that work there. When I told him the facts about insurance all he could do is repeat what he was told to say...I wouldn't even give 1 star if i had the option. I was in a wreck with an uninsured driver and my uninsured motorist protection didn't protect me. This company is a SCAM! RUN AWAY NOW!

We have been Germania customers since 2002 and have always been very satisfied with the service we receive.

Have been with Germainia since 2011. They provided builder's risk insurance when we built our home, then provided the homeowner's insurance. In 5 years, due to hail, we went through three roofs and they were spot on with both replacements. Now, out of hail country, we continue to rely on them. They also insure our automobiles. I recommend them.

If you are the receiving end of a claim because of someone covered by this company, get a lawyer quickly!

I had Germania Homeowners policy for 13 years, when I had a claim it was the worst experience of my life. Horrible customer service -communication with my agent during the claim was minimal and I had to contact his supervisor numerous times to get a response. They fought with the contractor and delayed progress to the point the contractor left and went to another job for 6 weeks. I couldn't stomach giving Germania another penny after my claim was finally complete. I am now a happy customer with another insurance company. Tony Cole and Jeremy Hardwick you are the most worthless people I've ever dealt with.

BOGUS insurance company is GERMANIA and this agency is worst. Do NOT buy any kind of insurance from these GERMANIA companies unless you want to go thru hiring an attorney and pursuit a civil lawsuite to settle your claims. They will tell you that they have cancelled the policy without informing you when you call to file a claim. They are unprofessional, mercyless and ZERO in customer service. DO NOT DO NOT, I repeat DO NOT buy any insurance when you see name GERMANIA.

Unprofessional service, complete disregard for clients, no feedback when you need - don t count on them. Go with any other insurance. Is not worth it.

I was impressed with how fast my claim was processed. Never having undergone a situation like this before, there were several things about the claim process I was unfamiliar with or had an incorrect idea of how it worked. My adjuster was patient with me and explained everything in layman's terms so I could understand perfectly the steps that lay ahead. I was very pleased at the outcome.

I've worked with Germania for just over a year. It is an amazing company with many great perks and benefits. I specifically appreciate the 401k match, the friendly team members and flexibility for personal and professional development.
