Genesis Mayfield

Very friendly and helpful staff, the classes are great and there are plenty of classes to choose from! The trainers are very knowledgeable and will help you work towards your goal. The gym is also very clean. I would definitely recommend this gym!

I really like genesis gyms. I lived close to Cooks Hill so I used Cooks Hill Genesis several times. However, Mayfield gym was the first gym I used as a 24 hours gym. I was impressed and went there again. This time I found the staff was very fiendly and knowledgable and at the same time the girl was not pushing for a personal training. I work close to Mayfield gym and it is my favourite gym now.

Love going to Genesis in Mayfield, great variety of equipment and plenty there to use even when busy. Plenty of space to workout inside or even outside on the terrace.

Large gym, friendly staff, good group classes. Well worth a visit.

the club has a great atmosphere and the staff care more on a personal level than other gyms i ve been at. Jess was fantastic with signing me up and even offered to train with me on my first day cause i was anxious!

The classes at Mayfield Genesis are great! They cater for all fitness types and the instructors are all very approachable.

I've recently joined Genesis at Mayfield and I love it.
24 hours which suits me perfectly and the staff are always friendly and helpful.
The place is always clean, with plenty of equipment available.
I have been a member of other gyms and Genesis Mayfield is my preferred gym now.

I've been going to gyms for years, Genesis Mayfield has to be the first one I've felt completely comfortable at. The staff are warm and friendly, there's heaps of equipment and the all the members seem to be just normal people - there's definitely no intimidation factor! I love my mornings at Genesis, especially in the Coaching Zone.

Great 24hour x 7day a week gym. Has ample cardio & machines. Good variety of equipment and always clean and new.

Wonderful little gym with a welcoming supportive atmosphere, and an impressive range of facilities. Everything is clean and looked after. Good selection of classes. I would appreciate a few more during the day but that might just be me. I love being able to add songs played over the speakers as I work out. Staff are all absolutely amazing.

The friendliest staff, fantastic place to train, drinks and a fridge to store food available and plenty of locker space too. Full shower facilties to boot.

I've been looking for affordable yoga classes and Genesis Mayfield has a great variety. Different types of yoga during the week which I've been enjoying and the added benefit of a clean and friendly gym with very helpful staff. Very happy.

Good range of equiptment, not as gopd as warners bay genesis though. Open 24hours but no access to outside equipment which is disappointing.

Excellent coaching staff and very knowledgeable. The classes were great and helped me on the road to recovery after an injury set back.

The gym itself is great in a sense of being quiet. Just hope you do not have any payment issues as they take weeks to get back to you. They have very little care for current members and literally hassle potential members to sign up, a friend of mine receives almost a call a day to sign up yet i have been waiting 2 months for a follow up on a payment issue.

Good gym experience, easy parking, 24hour access and friendly helpful staff. Fantastic range of classes: yoga, balance, barre, heartmoves, body blitz, crossfit and cardiocamp. Been a member for nearly 3 years now and very satisfied.

Great gym, excellent change room (has heaps of lockers, stalls, changing area etc much better than many others), good variety of machines and availability and great hours (24/7). Free parking too.

Genesis mayfield is one of the best gyms in Newcastle.
I have always felt comfortable training in the facility compared to some other gyms.
The girls behind the desk are always helpful and possitive and outgoing to ensure everyone is made to feel welcomed.
The only thing is the pt sometimes can get in the way but they are doing a job and that s ok.
I can t wait to get back into the gym after I have rehabbed from a ruptured bicep! (Non gym related)

Best gym I have ever been to. Very inclusive, easy to deal with and genuinely invested in my Health and well-being. Go to the Gen-fit classes they are great!! This gym made me feel very comfortable and inspired to improve myself. Out of all the gyms I have been to in the past this one has been by far the best.

The staff here are lovely and made my partner and I feel extremely welcome from the get go. We joined the same day we came in and had a look at the gym!

I ve really enjoyed trying out some classes in my first week. Zumba and Barre are my favourite. I m impressed by the size of the facility and welcoming staff. I look forward to weekend classes starting again.

Love going to Genesis Mayfield. Staff are very welcoming. Great class options and flexible personal training and small group training. I had been out of a workout routine and it was a great environment to help me get back into it. Can recommend PT Chris.

Nice and spacious inside, but this gym has a major problem with people not putting their weights and equipment away. It's always an issue and the signs they put up don't make a difference. Always annoying that workouts start with cleaning up after another lazy member.

Love the variety of machines and equipment, the amount of it and how accessible everything is. I can get in, do my workout and not have to wait around to use different things. Staff are friendly and gym is always clean.

Used to have a wonderful Yoga class on a Thursday night with Tina an amazing instructor. But then they cancelled the class for no reason. Put in feedback at the club got no response. Gym music is so loud you couldn't hear yoga music. Weights are often thrown around by users which makes hard to focus is intimidating. Staff are rude and not helpful. Gym is not warm or welcoming at all. Genesis is a horrible gym.

Coaching Zone at Genesis Mayfield is amazing. The coaches and other members are friendly, supportive, motivating and overall fantastic. Absolutely recommend Genesis Mayfield!

Thoroughly enjoy Heartmoves class. Great instructors who make everyone feel welcome irrespective of age and fitness levels. All staff are very friendly and welcoming.

I Joined Genesis Coaching Zone about 3 months ago. At my first consult the staff were very friendly and explained how it all works.
The coaches are very professional and show a genuine interest in helping you achieve your goals whilst keeping you accountable and pushing you that bit harder each session. It's a great mix of people of all shapes and sizes where everyone is made to feel welcome and have some fun whilst getting fit and healthy.

The atmosphere and workers at the gym make the visits enjoyable. Jess was extremely welcoming which was amazing and even offered to do training which helps with being anxious and new. An amazing gym would recommend

Gyms intimidate me, however my phone chat with Christy encouraged me to check out Mayfield Genisis & I m really happy that I did! It s the most welcoming gym I ve attempted to be at. The classes I m doing fit my current needs perfectly. Two are awesome & one is very challenging but with the quiet encouragement & friendly smiles from everyone I ll keep trying. Thanks Christy
