Just ok. One woman who was wearing sunglasses was VERY friendly! In fact, all the employees were really friendly! The shelves/racks were a little bare but my biggest complaint was an employee ringing me up who had his mask pulled below his chin. Come on, my dude.

Prices are okay... they don't have as specials like other locations... No 99 cent days just half off days... staff has been friendly and store is kept up well. I can never get out of there feeling like I truly got a bargain though like other stores.

I came all the way from roundrock and brought my family with me I looked up the store schedule online before coming to the store All the employees are outside waiting for there boss to open its 8:40 am and we've been here since 8am and no management on sight employees waiting for there boss no customer respect or a phone call to co worker's it's a shame .

Just keeping it real here but their prices are OUTRAGEOUS! I don't know if it's the area so they just figure folks have it but this is USED stuff, y'all. An UNMATCHED coffee cup was $2.00! A shirt, of no particular designer, was $7.99!! The staff was extraordinarily pleasant and helpful but those PRICES!! First and last visit here for me.

Some of their clothes are priced much higher. Still cheaper than retail, but if you don't want to spend 25 for a pair of pre-worn jeans, just check tags. Hate the fact that in Austin they do not have bags, but it is not all their fault as it is a stupid city ordinance.

The store needs some help to organize it. In this neighborhood, the racks should be color-coordinated, better staging, and there should be better care to the racks and displays. The manager of the store ( north Austin along I-35) has the best organized, color coordinated store and should be the model for otherooked managers. The Lakeway Goodwill would see increased sales with the new organization! Presently, there is no care in displaying the mdse. Messy; ill-kept store as are many other in the Austin area. I ve moved here from another area of the US where they take greater pride in their stores and mdse- .

There's a nice staff at Goodwill who will help with anything you may be looking for in a thrift store. There's a large amount of used clothing sold at cheap prices and in good condition. Great place to shop!

Overpriced and profit driven. Employees make minimum wage while corporate executives garner outrageous salaries and million dollar bonus. All from donations given in the name of charitable good faith.

Their items of decorations, furniture, lamps and paintings are definitely worth checking because the price is fair and the options are good.
Although, for clothing, bags and shoes prices are just crazy! Too EXPENSIVE! Honestly, could find cool new clothes for cheaper in other stores. Also, brand doesn't matter when you're selling a normal, white, and very used t shirt for almost 10 dollars just because it's from a known store. If it's old and used, it shouldn't be that expensive.
Location of the store it's good though.

EXPENSIVE! $6.99 for used shirts!!!!! The goodwills in San Antonio are $4.29 $24.99 for banged up Nikes! Again, standard shoes in SA are $6.99. SERIOUSLY!?!? If you are a regular shopper here a trip to SA will save you big. Heck, go to Burlington or Ross.

They round robin their inventory with other Good Will stores in the area, but before they do, the stuff you find in this place is just fantastic. One of the best thrift stores in all of Austin.

It's operated more like a for profit business than a charity org. I'm appalled by the very high prices on products they get for free. They hold an in-store auction on items and I thought you had to have a license or permit to do that. Makes me wonder if Goodwill is really good.

"We resell donated items to fund our education, job training, and job placement services in the community. 89 cents for every dollar we make in our stores goes directly to those programs"

If your prices were cheaper you'd have more word of mouth advertising. Which means more traffic; which means more sales; which means more .89 per every dollar multiplying to go to the programs, instead of having inventory sitting around and going to the clearance center. You don't want to have the reputation of being too highly priced. Cher said it in her song called "Baby Don't Go"...."I never had no money; I shopped at the second hand store". Get away from wishful thinking pricing and get it out the door. Flip it, turn it, but don't marry it. (It=your freely given inventory)

Very disappointed

Very disappointed
Store was a mess and the floor was dirty (not a rainy day). Items on every shelf were broken. And it smelled like sour mop.

I went up to the cashier who was wearing his facemask incorrectly saying I had two questions: I was trying to confirm that even the the fitting rooms are closed, is it still only store credit refunded for unwanted items and he told me to read the sign that the fitting rooms are closed which I already acknowledged. I also tried asking if they do discounts for shopping on your birthday and he said no. I showed him on my phone where it says Goodwill does. He then asked for my phone so we could ask someone in the back. I told him I wasn't comfortable with him holding my phone and asking him to call to use the phone by the register to call for someone. He still wouldn't. He told me he needed my phone to ask his manager and I said if he changed his gloves, then I would let him..then he said he did want to be respon for my phone. I don't know what the heck is wrong with him, but he needs some serious training in active listening and how to use the phone by the register. I just wasted 45 minutes on my birthday and walked away with nothing because he was being so difficult!

Great Selection of Women Clothing. Prices are fair. They reorganized and everything is more coordinated. Sections are broken down by type and then size. The people working there are kind and helpful. The day after Halloween, I needed a last-minute mustache, and I called, and they said they had one. When I got there, we could not find it and 3 employees helped locate it for me. I will keep going back.

Great Goodwill. I was worried it might be too small like the one we have at Bee Caves and 71, but we got the kids shoes we were looking for, PLUS kids boots, mom's skirt, and dad's shorts that were opportunistic wins. Not as cheap as some other thift stores, but the cashier explained to me that they fund skills training programs for people including low/no cost GED, medical tech support and plumbing, among others, so that's where the money's going.

I typically always have a good experience at this goodwill but this last time an employee was bothering me In regards to the dressing Room I know you're only supposed to take in 5 items at a time I had six but they acted like I shot their dog being very redundant It's only goodwill not like its Saks 5th Avenue

Wouldn t recommend bringing kids here. Within a minute of being in the store a worker told my child to stop touching a non-breakable object. A few minutes later another worker asked me to put masks on my 1 & 3 year olds. Obviously they have a right to make these requests, but being corrected at every turn makes for a less than enjoyable shopping experience. Just not the place for us.

We generally go to Goodwill for the house-goods, so I cannot speak for the clothing or other items. This store in particular, usually has a good pick of items to choose from. Happy to stop in once every few months or so, just to see what they have.

Mom and I found some good items there, but the staff was nonengaging, the native Lakewayan shoppers were rude. One bright perk was a lady who was VERY nice. She loved my kilt. Turns out she was from England, not Lakeway. Lakeway does not seem as friendly as Spicewood. We ended up going to the Goodwill in Marble Falls instead which was so much nicer.

The most expensive goodwill in the Austin area. I visit Goodwill s regularly and this one is close to me so I visit a lot. The prices have sky rocketed over the last few months. There has been a $50 old chair about to fall apart with cobwebs sitting there for weeks now. I just don t understand how they price things that high. It s Goodwill not a department store! None of the other locations price this high. Please re-evaluate how you price it s crazy for used stuff! The staff is friendly so that s why I gave them a better rating.

I'm here right now and feekbthe need to post how rude the register lady is there. I've only done this with one other place due to leaving shaking appalled by my experience there. If you don't like your job lady, go find another one, but I did not deserve the eye rolling, huffing and puffing I got at the register. I waited patiently for 5 mins and a kind man let he know someone was waiting and I heard her say I know and that was rude right there. One lady had already waited in line with me and left the line. Will not be back due to this. Incident occurred at 11:45 Thursday the 19th.

Wasn't my best Goodwill experience. Not much to choose from. The bathroom was a bit dirty as well. I found a small candle holder and went to check out. The 3 ladies there were lounging behind the counter and 1 was sitting with her back to me on the ledge of the counter. When she realized I was ready to check out she sighed heavily and groaned, rolled her eyes. Then slowly slid off the counter edge and didn't even address me. Started speaking to the other employee in Spanish and never once spoke to me, except to tell me the price. Other than poor customer service... all in all, I guess it's Goodwill?
