Foley Gallery

Exceptional events, kind staff, best art in the LES.

Led by Michael Foley and Sherri Littlefield, the Foley gallery and team are a lower east side staple. Staff is friendly and funny, each month a new experience. Events, parties and talks occur here, a beautiful space in the pink building.

Such a cool, modern space -- Foley sets itself apart from all the other "hip" galleries in Chelsea. Maybe it's the grand, original flooring and ceilings that lends itself so well to emerging art that is void of an elitist and snobby vibe. Foley holds events which completely transform the space. Sherri and Michael are two highly valued, much adored members of the photo community. I participated in a show last year and had an unparalleled experience of kindness and feedback. I networked with women at Sherri's cool girl event, bought books from the book-fair Michael did with Kris Graves. They are advanced thinkers, always a step ahead, always involved in initiatives outside the gallery walls. Both teach at major art colleges, both frequent award events, both contribute expertise and time to their field. They are as friendly as they art smart. Genuine people in this sea of sharks.

Came here to see an exhibit and it was great. The venue is nice, and the staff is very helpful. I don't want to comment on the specific show since they seem to have revolving exhibits.

A great curated gallery that always had something interesting and delightful to see. Worth stopping by if your passing through the neighbourhood. Sign up for emails and get invited to some exclusive events. And wine!

This is a great art space with various events like yoga. Sometimes it's hard to miss. They need something outside.

Beautiful contemporary art. Little gallery space, and as it is typical for NYC galleries - you just walk in, look around without any attention from the gallery people.

Great space attended for a wedding reception, white in color so it wont clash with any color theme you're going for. Small in size could fit about 75 seated guest comfortably with round tables. Space is kinda broken down in 3 parts 1st part being the entrance. Second (middle part) where your guest would sit and the lastly the 3rd part in the back which is also very spacious. Meter parking til 7pm after that it's free.

Pristine, beautiful lounge with space and opportunity for so many things.
