Awesome, small local spot for insanely fresh fish and seafood. You know almost everything about your fish from where they were caught to the name of the vessel that sold them . Great atmosphere, friendly service and super tasty food for all. You can order out or eat in - either way, you'll enjoy this special local treat.

Very cool place with a nice vibe. If you're delivering or eating out be prepared to place your order(s) online. Also be mindful that there's no option for substitutes or removal of certain items on their site (as of this posting) so, you have to call or get in line to notify them of any particulars.

Holy moly, do you like fish? How about sandwiches? Maybe hot sauce and tortilla chips? Then this is the place you wanna go to! The fish is SO fresh it tastes like it was JUST in the ocean.

The pickled cabbage, cucumbers, zesty sauce, and soft sweet bread compliments the fish without overpowering it. Then there's the hot sauce...I had to buy my own bottle as the jabanero carrot flavor is truly unique and tantalizing.

Would go back again in a heartbeat. Great for seafood lovers who enjoy a casual cozy meal with high quality fish.

No joke fish and chips, just like the Brits like it. Plenty of fish with great fish to batter ratio. Chips were also very tasty. In a great location, close to fisherman's warf, although an unassuming location and decor, it was exactly what I wanted for a nice, quick, filling lunch.

They had a few more items on the menu, but my party all ordered the fish and chips. We were thoroughly satisfied with our choice amid all the various seafood restaurants in the area.

Overall, Hook Fish Co is an amazing place. Not only does it offer a great selection of seafood dishes, but they also have burgers and burritos (quite unique).

The place itself is beautiful as well, great interior, rustic and beach house like. The people that work here are great as well, amazing energy and work ethic.

I went in for a quick bite, poke with chips. It was amazing. They source the albacore from Oregon, as you bite into it, the fish seems to just melt in your mouth. Every piece was well marinated and they complimented the chips nicely.

They also make an amazing sauce in house, it s really good and it seems to work well with everything.

I really enjoyed it and I will be back soon, thanks for a great lunch guys!

Pretty nice place with good quality food. Minus 1 star because my wife saw the server moving chips around that was on a tray for a customer with her bare hands. Minus 1 star because another server dropped one of my fried fish on the table then picked it up and put it back on my tray with her bare hands. Which one is worse? Touching my food or someone else's with bare hands? Where's the sanitary training?

To fall!
Extra fresh fish and choice according to the arrival of the day! Perfectly cooked, it's a delight. Guacamole is delicious - the best I've tasted out of Mexico! The prices are very affordable, between 15 and 20 dollars per person to eat very well. The atmosphere is very nice, the only flaw we can find instead is that it is too small.
A star in the Sunset!

Cute spot! Love it. I like the ambience.. really nice look and homey! Love the corn soup! I recommend the bowl not the cup. I wasn't a huge fan of the tamale but I'm not going to take it off from getting it again. Not local to me.. but def will visit when I'm in the area again!

This was a busy place and for good reason. The food was great. It's a little tough to find a spot to sit during the busy lunch hour, but it was worth it. I had the grilled fish burrito and my husband had the fish n chips. Both were delicious! The habanero hot sauce was a nice kick.

Expect a line out the door at this hidden gem in the Outer Sunset. They serve San Francisco s best fish tacos, catch of the day on a delicious bun, and a great selection of wine, beer, and delicious non-alcoholic drinks. Bring a warm sweater and grab a seat at the cozy outdoor patio.

Some of the best fish and chips and salad I've had. They have a really interesting carrot habanero sauce that everyone should try. They have a selection of fish available for the fish and chips. Whatever you get, it will be perfectly fried and flaky or not, depending on your fish choice. The tartar sauce that comes with it is good. The poke salad comes with these bits of nuts/seeds that go so well.

This place is amazing all around. Top notch sustainable and fresh fish (about 5 to choose from), great and friendly staff (that's happy to help you decide and explain each type of fish). Tacos, burritos, salads and more to choose from. The food tastes phenomenal and the service is quick. The inside of the restaurant is beautiful, it's covered in wood that gives off a great vibe. I can't more highly recommend this place. Total gem in the Sunset

We showed up at 5:45. The guard saw we were looking for somewhere to park and shown us to their huge parking lot . then came and got us when they opened at six. When we went inside they were so helpful, explained to us the fish we were looking at and packed us up the most fresh ahi I've ever bought. A very pleasant experience. The selection of clams muscles abalone and fish was awesome. This was our first time definitely not our last. We love CA!!!!

Great low-key neighborhood restaurant with tasty, well-made and unpretentious food and fast, friendly service. They have a nice selection of seafood and the freshness can't be beat. Cozy and clean with outdoor sidewalk seating available, perfect on a sunny day. Just a great overall vibe to the place, and really good food.

You will wait a very long time for your food. I waited one hour. The food is pretty good, pricey, but not worth the wait. Order online only and they do not use gloves or hair nets for cooking and handling food. When you order online, be sure to check the gratuity/tip that is automatically tagged on to your bill even though it's take out. Customer service is not a priority here. The 2 stars are for the food only.
