However, be cautious while swimming; since the harbor and beach aren’t separated, motorboats often come ashore to pick up or drop off passengers. The amenities are solid, even if some fixtures show a bit of rust and aren’t brand-new. You might notice ants, which is typical for the region, so keep an eye on your kitchen—be careful with the extractor fan, as it can draw insects into your food. A huge plus is that drinking water is provided separately, so you don’t have to worry about the quality of the tap water for brushing your teeth or cooking. Laundry is free and conveniently located on the roof. Electricity costs are negligible if you stick to a fan rather than running the air conditioning; I only paid about 6 euros for two weeks. Overall, the management does a great job, making this a highly recommended stay.
