If you want to pay entirely too much for something...

If you want to pay entirely too much for something, as in get gouged, go here. A 3.97 1/4" valve is 8.99 here, but we had to have it so they get my money today. I would prefer to shop small, and have no problem with fair markup, but this ice maker line valve price is a joke.

Ace hardware is underrated.
Great attributes fundamentally.
Great selection honestly, and it's a small store.
I'm sure they got their money makers, but usually there's more than one choice for a need that needs filled.
Decent prices

Ace truly is the helpful place! The workers will spend 10+ minutes finding a specific screw/bolt for your repair project even though it only costs <$1. They have advice about everything. They can mix paint colors from multiple different brands of paint- basically almost anything I find on Pinterest....

The staff here is always ready to help you with whatever you need. I ve gone here a few times for all different stuff. Pest control, lawn care, weed eater, BBQ accessories, seasonings, wood pellets and more, and I ve always found what I needed for great prices.
