Germany is pretty cool, I asked for "grosse cigaretten" and did manage to get some, I was then later told that did not mean "big cigarettes"

Centrally located, well equipped. Always overcrowded, stressful, by the many people who shop, and expensive. Continuous opening hours except Sundays.

There is a big minus for the really slow checkouts - it goes ahead in slow motion. This is not due to the number of customers, because other Edeka stores in Berlin are much faster.

Attention is not paid so much to the mask requirement and the minimum distance, also the number - limitation of customers is not taken so seriously

After the renovation, the shop has become very pretty. The offer is ok. The employees are usually annoyed and unmotivated. At the coffers one stands at almost any time. The cashier staff consists mostly of temporary workers and is therefore probably so slow. Nobody loves food. But the opening hours are a plus.

Centrally located and open around the clock, this Kaiser's branch is always well visited. Due to the heavy traffic but also often missing articles, especially in fruits and vegetables.
The often criticized lack of cleanliness I could not determine, but this could probably be due to the rather rare visits.

Do not love supermarkets, prefer "Aunt Emma / Uncle Abdallah". But the Edeka am Nolli makes an exception, great offer, nice staff, good opening times.

This was once a Kaiser Supermarkt, now Edeka has moved in and Hallelujah for that. This is one of the large supermarkets with bakery and butcher. Full service supermarket. Clean, great layout and huge selections, multiple brands to choose from and almost always a Gut&Gunstig equivalent of each product, this is Edeka's own brand and often a lot better value for money.

The cashiers are sometimes the slowest cashiers in Berlin. And that is i.d.R. not because they do not control the cash register, because then you could occasionally turn a blind eye or both, but especially because of the listlessness of the employees. It is clear that the job does not trigger any jumps in joy now, but if a cashier needs around 2 minutes (unbelievable) to open 2 money rolls, then that is an imposition for the customer.

Then there is the rude employee (slightly overweight Turkish-speaking staff with glasses - this is just mentioned to describe the employee to whom it is as accurate as possible and not to qualify for it!). Apart from the fact that I do not ask him anything anymore, in the past it has always been that he did not even look at the answer. The answer itself was consistently characterized by listlessness and aggressiveness! When standing in front of him or running past him, his posture clearly shows: "Leave me in peace, ask me NOTHING!".

The shelves, especially the beverage department, I have almost never seen in the last few months even in the approach completely.

Exchange FILIALLEITUNG !!!! It's like a team sport. If it does not work there, the coach is to blame and has to hold his head !!! Sorry, I do not want someone to be terminated, but it can not be because you do not receive enough deliveries. Then you have just other products in the range with recordings, if over a long period, the shelves because of certain products are often empty or look vacant. I'm not a FIllialleiter, but that would be a possibility. Instead, you seem to be more interested in optimizing the look. It's not a bad thing to worry about, but what use is a good appearance if my products are not on the shelf?

They are just lucky enough to have an incredibly blatant location with a central hub.

If a supermarket, where there is more competition and you do not have such a location working like that, then the customers would stay out in the long run and do only small quick shopping !!!

And then one wonders why it's going bad ... That's how it always starts ...

For me, it is always the case that only fast shopping (if I just prepare something and quickly needed something). And that consciously!
It is not that the branch lures with unbeatable prices ....

Since love is very subjective, I can not contradict that, but I can say that my love could not be more different compared to the love of this Edeka branch for the foods!

The only reason for the 2nd star is the opening hours! Despite my massive criticism / dissatisfaction, you still have to try to be objective, even if I personally do not think much of it.

I would now like to give a rating, because the behavior (12/12/2018) of the cashier (red hair, strong stature and really not overlooked dark teeth) today was completely off the mark. She asked me for a passport because I wanted to buy cigarettes, I showed her my AOK card (20 years old) because I only had these with her, whereupon she freaked out and shouted loudly that it would not be accepted. My sister (25 years old) then showed her ID and out of nothing she became disrespectful and more than rude and a loud discussion took place. Suddenly she wanted to give us the cigarettes without seeing a passport anymore.

Conclusion: I am very often and very happy to go shopping because the selection is great and friendly staff, but this behavior has ensured today that I will not go shopping in this store.

Very good and there is everything and prices are good.

No more fresh meat counter and very limited supply of fresh vegetables and fruit.

Former emperor - was more personal. Now something cleaner, everything new. Selection typical Edeka. some old brands are now out unfortunately what a pity. Still open until late at night which I think is great!

No matter how full it is, the Edeka at Nollendorfplatz always manages to have so few checkouts that you can min. Must wait 10 minutes. A pity

As always, long waiting times at the cash register and hardly any goods filled up.

A good store. Lots of choice and affordable prices.

Open all week from Monday to Friday.

For everyone who comes home later.
Or night owls who still need something cheap.

By the way, I was amazed. That return bottles are still accepted at night.

Has become a real gem after the renovation. Everything looks very neat and modern. The staff are the same friendly as before. The "checkout problem" from earlier days was not felt at least on Friday afternoon. The baker at the front of the entrance area now also has nice seating and everything just looks much nicer.

Finally a shop with super opening times (Mon 7 a.m. to Sat. 11:30 p.m.) Unfortunately, often empty shelf parts and always full tills ...

Had trouble. Unfortunately it is a chronic condition.
