Dunn associates

I was referred by a friend in the mental health field to see Carol Herndon. The waiting room was packed to the gills and desperately in need of some heating vents. The counselor spent three entire sessions on her laptop not responding much to anything I said. To top it off instead of sending my bill to the address I put on my forms they were sent to a very old address where I hadn't lived in six years and ended up never getting them. I found out about my bill from a collection agency, not their front office staff. This place is so unprofessional.

I had a very negative experience with Julie DeJesus. After seeing her for the past 11 months, I found her to be short and dismissive. For someone who is supposed to be a therapist, Julie DeJesus lacks compassion. If you re looking for a therapist, I would look outside of Dunn Associates.

I respect her decision to terminate all future appointments as we weren t a good fit. However, the way she went about terminating services by simply stating all appointments with her had be canceled and best of luck in an email was unprofessional. If you re looking for a therapist who is kind, empathic and full of compassion. I can assure you that Julie DeJesus is none of these things.

While the counseling services were adequate, the business practices were not.

I understand ethics more than most being a successful business owner/entrepreneur and I respect the decision that Dr. Merideth L. Minchski made to terminate services today after only one appointment. But she should not have entered into a contract for services beyond the first day had she truly felt uncomfortable. I believe her reasons were a copout [I never attended St. Francis - look it up] and highly questionable. Also I'm not of your culture [LGBTQ] so our paths would have never crossed.

I had already had way too much on my plate when I came in and no I wasn't alright when I left ... I threw away your recommendation and contacted the Attorney General to file a formal complaint.

I am very dissatisfied with my experience at Dunn Associates. For starters, more attention needs to be paid to protected information regarding names at sign in. Secondly, I had a very bad experience with Michael Bergron which culminated with his public display of aggression, outburst of anger, and violation of patient privacy. I found him to have very very poor communication skills for someone who is supposed to be a pro. I would not recommend Dunn Associates to anyone.
