Fantastic staff - personable, efficient and made us smile throughout!

The food is exquisite. Such flavours, and clearly made with care. Very generous portions! Left feeling wonderfully sated.

Simple decor, with historic photos of Iran and great traditional music in the background. Not noisy, just a sedate atmosphere.

This is a definite go-to place for your first foray into Persian cuisine, or for the seasoned fan of this different middle eastern food.

Definitely coming back - often.

I'm not often motivated to write about restaurants; generally I find most mediocre but DinDinPersian caught me surprise with its very high level of yum. Tastes I've never experienced before that I really enjoyed. Whole preserved limes in a beef and kidney bean dish w/ Persian herbs and spices that had been cooked for hours and hours, saffron rice, and olives marinated in pomegranate! Well done and many thanks for bringing us this fabulous cuisine from the ancient lands of far away of Persia. If, like me, you are sick at the sight of Thai, Vietnamese or Indian food, try DinDinPersian. Highly recommended by me.

Good taste of food (Koobideh) not perfect one tho. Staffs were friendly. I asked for bread and they charge me for that, which is not common in Persian restaurants I have been so far at least. Food portion was not quite small (rice and Koobideh both) again in comparison with other Persian restaurants. Totally, I was happy with that.

Very simple and humble place offering good Persian food. Definitely try the beans soup. So reach in flavors. The meat was very tasty. This double kebab dish is highly recommended, also the lamb of course... Their specialty :) the price is more than reasonable compare to australian standard. And the waitress, surprisingly from Argentina, was lovely!

The food was good but mot a 5 star anyone. We had had a great experience 2 years ago here, but this time it didn't really felt like a Persian food. Staff were nice but they don't speak Persian. They didn't even have dough! Even though it is easy to make and lasts long. They didn't serve raw onion with Kebab and when we asked for it, the waitress reacted as if we asked for something strange, but she finally made it.

Simply put, this restaurant and the dinner we had there were absolutely superb. We went on a very busy Friday night and were still met with friendly and timely service. Coming from a persian background and having eaten persian food my entire life I was happy to see that the menu authentically represented the nature of our food. I would give this restaurant my highest recommendation.

The customer service was great. This Latino women served us and was really nice.

The place itself is small but charming. Not fancy but traditional like and cosy.

The food was ok but not great. The barg was really chewy, like gum and it wasn't even edible. The chicken kebab didn't tast fresh at all. The koobide was ok in my opinion but my other three companions didn't like it.

I don't know if the cook was just having a bad day or what, but the food we ate was below average.

The customer service was really friendly, small place with seating for probably 30-50 persons.

I only had a takeaway kobiddeh with rice. The kobiddeh was really juicy and tender. I found it lacked a bit of seasoning. But that s my personal taste. Rice was ok and fluffy.

Would I come here again? Yes.
My rating is a strong 3.5 stars.

Such a great place to try Persian foods; and also warm and kind staff who are always keen for a bit of chitchat with their customers!! Other than that the quality of the ingredients and foods were really nice!!

I also had the best Ta Dig!!!!

I d highly recommend this to Persian food/culture lovers!!

We are regular customers of Dins Dins. They are consistently good in what they offer. The food is of exceptional quality and always full of the flavours you expect and enjoy. The price is so reasonable and has therefore become one of our weekly meals to enjoy. The service is also second to none, you can tell they are very devoted business owners who care about their product. Bravo Farouk, we love your restaurant!

Lovely food and very friendly staff. The kobideh kebab tasted very close to the actual taste of kobideh in Iran (which is a rare thing in Persian restaurants I have been to in Australia). We googled this restaurant on our visit to Sydney and were surly very satisfied with our choice of place for lunch.

For our date night, we visited DinDin on a Saturday evening for the first time.
Overall, it was good value for money and we will go back. Especially because it s one of the few Iranian restaurants in the City. The food was nice; portion was good.

The staff was friendly; one of the girls was Iranian which I personally love when I m visiting a Persian restaurant. It helps with asking what they serve.
The street is quite noisy and it can get noisy inside.
It s BYO and unfortunately for us they didn t have dough (Iranian yoghurt drink) and they don t serve sparkling water.
We had the vegetarian starters, ghorme sabzi and kobideh (kebab). The food was good, and we finished everything!

Very low quality and high price!!! Very bad service, I picked up my order on Sunday afternoon, very chip packaging, all food just enough for kids!!! Chicken for zershk polo is very soft look like for few days ago!!
Khoresh gimeh was maded with lamb foot?! This is new experience . Very very bad. Please don t tell people this is Persian food because it s not.

We started the night with Persian (AASH) which was fantastic, unfortunately the rest of the food was very very poor in taste and quality. The chicken was dry , the Barg kebab (lamb blackstrap)was also very dry and overdone. The rice wasn t fresh at all and seemed to be microwaved. It s not the most expensive though, and to be honest the staff were really nice and friendly. I hope the quality improves here as this seem to be the only Persian restaurant in Sydney inner east area!

Lovely staff. Food was ok also.
Was hoping to have hot Iranian bread and traditional yogurt still drink but the restaurant served Lebanese bread and sparkling yogurt which aren t traditional for a Persian restaurant.

Stepped accidentally in and asked for vegetarian mixed with rice. She brought after a couple of minutes rice bread , different pickled vegetables , eggplant , and marinated olives. Taste was okay but when she gave me the bill I was shocked : 28$ ?!? For this kind of restaurant a way to expensive. Vegetarian with rice for 28$ ? Should reconsider her price politic... Next time going back to Abdul's tastier and reasonable..

I don t normally put a review for bad quality or service, I just never visit the shop again. But this shop deserves the worst reviews!
I ordered three items from the menu via Menulog. Firstly, order was not confirmed by restaurant for like 20 minutes, I had to call Menulog and they reached out to the restaurant to be informed that one item from the menu was not available! Anyway, removed that item and got order confirmation from restaurant. Delivery was quite fast. Biggest disappointment was when the food arrived, one item from the revised order was missing! An additional Koobideh! How could you miss that! The food taste was bland, nothing like you would expect from even an average Persian cook! quality of ingredients was not good, rice has a smell...overall very bad experience.

Amazing food and lovely people. With very short notice Sam was able to prepare a takeaway menu for 15 people and balance out all my requests for food for vegetarians and gluten free intolerance and manage my budget. Everyone loved the food and they couldn't stop talking about how great it was. Amazing option for office lunches or big groups that need a good meal at a reasonable price.

Ordered home delivery via Deliveroo. The chicken kebab (skewer) was burnt on the surface all around; and the lamb skewer was uncooked in the center, but burnt on the surface. Both kebabs tasted rather bland with no special flavour! The tomato was burnt on one side, but raw and tough on other areas. The saffron solution adding gave a bit of colour change to one area of rice, but there was no noticeable flavour change (too dilute solution). Not for me again; but then, what are the chances of finding a restaurant which would provide authentic and tasty cuisines of any culture (not only Persian food, but cuisines from India, South East Asia, Southern Europe, or other Middle Eastern countries), where opening a restaurant/'food-preparing-place' in Australia, does not require any evidence of having had previous experience in the area. Delivery was on time. Mirza ghasemi was nice; hence giving 3 stars rather than 2.5.
