Crestwood Place

The outside area is big and well away from the road, so I feel safe when my kids are playing. The inside is... fine. No huge complaints, it's functional and the design has some character. I love this area, so it works for me. But you can get newer/bigger/cheaper places if you aren't stuck to this neighborhood.

Absolutely awesome! Just love the manager Nelly! I drop in to take a look and she took her time for me to show me the apartment, I m very interesting in renting here. The property was nice, very clean and quiet. Nice area. I ve visited other apartments but this one was the only one where I felt welcomed. I would recommend any of my friends or family to rent here. Thanks Nelly your the best!

The property is beautiful and Alondra was super helpful, she was very nice and answered all my questions, she made the process so easy, and on on top of that she's bilingual, I love a prepared staff!

So far, we've enjoyed our stay here. We love the space we have in our apartment, maintenance has been pretty good about fixing our repairs in a timely manner, and we have some pretty nice neighbors. It's also very quiet and we are close to a lot of great spots to eat and hangout. The number one problem we have with this place is the large number of stray cats that are around the complex. They are laying on top of and under people's cars and outside furniture, spreading fleas, and leaving smells in the outside the units from using the restroom. There are people consistently feeding them despite animal control and management's previous efforts to address the situation. Now the stray cats are having babies, you can hear them fighting during the day and night and, they are in and out of the dumpsters. Recently, there has been nothing done about the situation. We would really enjoy it more here if this was not a problem because it is definitely an annoyance, unsafe and unsanitary.

Began application process around nov.23 after a month went by I reached out to apartments and asked they completely stop process because nothing as far as processing my application was done at that point also all the 2 bedroom had now been and would not be available in the near future for my move out. them and they following week I called and left a message stating I wanted my money back the whole $425 I gave upfront. About 45 minutes later I received an email stating we both had been denied, even though we got pre-approved and paid a portion of the deposit. Today is February 8 I haven't ever spoke with a manager or have been unsuccessful with a call back from corporate for any funds returned either. ALSO LETS NOT FORGET I WAS EXPECTING TO GET THIS HOME AND THE SITUATION HAS CAUSED A LOT OF EXTRA EXPENSES AND AN UNFORTUNATE AMOUNT OF STRESS.

We lived here for 1 year in one of the townhomes and had a very bad experience. A month or two after move in the wall above the sink started leaking, the bedroom AC started making noises and stopped working almost every other night. After placing multiple work orders, they were still not fixed till the day we moved out. During the summer months, there were flies getting in to the apartment from out of nowhere and formed an infestation. Maintenance was not able to resolve the issue. Thank god the flies stopped coming after a few weeks.
Lastly, the biggest reason i would not recommend this place to anyone are fleas. There are stray cats everywhere in the property and they breed fleas. For 8 months straight fleas were in our apartment even though we do not have pets and even after crestwoods pest company sprayed 8 times, the fleas kept coming back. It was a nightmare and we were very depressed during those months. I am so glad my lease is over and I moved to a much better community.
Please stay away from this place until they remove the stray cats and renovate all the buildings. Do not let the affordable rates fool you.

Trying to find a new apartment during the COVID environment and in a different state and time zone should have been a strenuous ordeal. That was not the case finding an apartment and leasing with Crestwood Place. Their leasing agent Marco was amazing. He made himself available for all my questions and gave me a live tour of the actual unit I'd be renting. My move-in process was easy and seamless. The staff here are courteous and friendly and I LOVE the apartment. It has a historic/French quarter feel. The grounds are beautiful too. I'm very happy with my unit and extremely impressed with the staff at Crestwood Place!
