It's our favourite place to eat in Canmore after walking around. Vegan friendly with meat and dairy options.
The food is top notch and made fast. You're maybe waiting ten minutes after paying, in the meantime, drink some delicious coffee or tea and enjoy the atmosphere.
In so happy this place exists. If you're in Canmore, you need to check this out. Plus, they're always busy, which is a great sign of their quality.

The service we had here during planning our Rehearsal Dinner was fantastic. The response time was quick during the planning and the event host couldn't have done a better job. They had it set up so guests felt welcome. The appetizers we went with were a huge hit (ooooh and the London Fogs!!) Thank you so much for helping us have a wonderful evening before out Wedding with our close family and friends!

Have always loved this place and they didn't disappoint! Got the vegan beet burger and WOW it was incredible. I didn't know half of what was on it but it was so delicious. They have vegan, dairy free, gluten free options and a lot of specials on their Bowls depending on the day and time. Definitely go here!!

The restaurant was very clean, and the staff was great, very accommodating and friendly. The food was delicious and nice alternative to a heavy breakfast. The menu was good if you preferred a vegatarian/vegan menu or if you prefer meat. They also carry a great selection of sweets. When we definitely return on our next visit to Canmore.

Food was fare... cleanliness leaves much to be desired. I saw a waitress removed used dirty dishes from one of the tables yet didn't bother to come back to wipe it down with a clean cloth. It was filthy. 3 stars for effort. Even Tim Hortons has cleaner tables compared to this "g-d I died and went to hipster heaven" cafe joint..true story

Blech. Stopped in for weekend lunch. Lots of hipster staff standing around, with grimy tables and serving spaces neeeding attending. Dish buckets overflowing where one fixes their tea. Ordered the veg wrap, (which was genuinely good and accounts for the one star). Quesadilla so slimy with tasteless sauce and rubbery chicken it was inedible by our group of 5. Not sure what was wrong with the grilled cheese, but how do you screw up a grilled cheese?!?, seemed to have the same mucousy slime as the quesadilla. The organic popcorn side was stale and covered in some kind of nasty green seasoning. Judging from our neighbours plates, no one enjoyed it, so a pretty lame side. Crowded, overpriced, overrated. We ended up dumping the $100 mess in the bin and going down the street for a much better lunch with table service for the same price.

Wow.... This was a great choice after a long day hiking. Came here with some friends and I tried out their vegan wrap and added avocado. Absolutely wonderful!! Mandyade me a phenomenal maple latte with oat milk and I highly recommend you try that out. The staff is wonderful and I overheard them making quality suggestions to customers that were trying to decide what to order.
They have awesome little cards too that you could buy to send to people that will make them smile and make them think!
Great place to check out!!

Really excellent latte with almond milk and a great selection of loose leaf teas. The menu has lots of gluten free options and substitutions for every diet. Definitely busy in a Saturday at noon but the staff did a good job keeping up and the food was worth a little wait.

Quite happy with my experience there! Enjoyed a smoothie bowl after a weekend of eating food that was a little on the rich side... So the light and refreshing bowl was a great change of pace.

Atmosphere was great, with lots of visual interest and quirks in the seating/tables that make you feel at home. There is also a great area for parents to enjoy the shop with little-ones in tow.

It must have been a little but characteristic of the time I had arrived... But the ladies bathroom had quite the line. Always a shame to have 4 people just standing and staring while they 'dance.' Maybe just changing it to two gender neutral bathrooms would help deal with that issue.

This is place is a must with kids. They have an awesome kids play area with a little kitchen and a bunch of other toys. The bathroom has an awesome changing area and a sign to ask for diapers if you happened to forget them. Such a thoughtful thing to do. The food is delicious. There are tons of veggie, vegan and gf options. They have samples of their tea out to try. Staff are friendly and helpful. They are willing to make adjustments to the ingredients if you have any dietary restrictions or simply some dislikes.

I highly recommend this spot!

Friendly staff.
Incredible morning light.
Tasty fruit smoothy.
Added avacado to smoothy. More than 2 bucks extra, but after I paid, I learned that it is just 1/4 of an avacado. Must be hand picked organic free range wild hand raised grain fed equal opportunity solar avacados.
Also, the place smells strongly of B.O.
I assume it is the lunch special in prep.

This cafe was one of the first shops that caught our eyes, as my girlfriend and I were driving through town. We parked nearby - wasn't hard to find parking in the middle of the day - and sat outside and had DELICIOUS raw salads and some coffee/tea. The service was good and they were very cool with us having our dog lay down at our feet at their outside tables. We LOVED Canmore, even in the short time we were there, and will definitely go to Communitea Cafe again.

Great place for breakfast and tea. The cashier was very accommodating to my dietary needs. And even when I forgot to ask for almond milk which is an extra, they were able to change my order without an extra charge. I had the breakfast bowl and it was amazing. The matcha latte with almond milk was also great!

Lovely cafe, not too spendy, great options for celiacs. I'm not quite sure why I'm not giving it five stars, honestly: it isn't perfect, but I can't say what it's lacking (other than proximity to my home - yet another reason to wish I lived in Canmore, I guess!)

AMAZING tea selection, and the teas our family purchased were all delicious. The breakfast sandwiches were also delightful - I had never thought of putting lox and eggs and avocado together but I loved it! Would recommend this as your Tim's breakfast alternative for sure.

Stopped in here for some lunch based on google reviews. I ordered the Thai coconut curry rice bowl with no rice but instead extra spinach and added tofu. They modified my order with a smile. Food was very good and fresh and they had other alternatives for vegan fare as well. Also ordered their iced pomegranate blueberry iced team with mint - it was fabulous.
Lunch for two was close to $50 - which is pricey however pretty standard in a mountain town for this level of fresh.
The only thing stopping me from giving them 5 stars was their bakery part didn t have any vegan options and nobody was interested in helping me discover if they had any more tins of their tea - which means they lost out on another $50 sale of goods.
