i would like to know why as parents we do not receive any feedbacks from the college. Parents pay the college and despite sending several mails, we do not have a reply. Has the college noticed that some teachers are not doing their best for the success for their students. Who is monitoring the teachers? there must be something wrong if the whole class bringing bad results during online sessions.

I think most of the staff works only for their paycheck and killing their time. Today i went there to collect my skills assessment result before 5 pm(Thursday). When i approached skills assessment testing room (D2-01) & found out its closed already even its was not a 5 pm(Office Hours: Mon-Friday - 8:30 AM-5 PM). I saw a guy sitting inside the room from glass-door. I knocked it and he told me its closed(in his sign language-waving his two hands). I asked him in my sign language with FOUR fingers - Is it closed at 4 pm? He said YES. Then i realized this college has got really F...SERVICE. I don't know what is Administrator doing there even there are lots of unsound reviews and suggestions from students.

Why is it that the staff at the International Office never respond to emails or pick up their calls or even return your calls when you drop messages?
I personally have been trying to reach someone in the international office as regards to deferment of a program someone registered for. No one responds, no one says anything. This is very un-professional and shows that the school doesn't really care about international students or what they are going through. However, once you want to pay school fees, someone is always available to respond to you. This is really terrible and sad and you are just toiling with people's lives.

DO NOT GO TO SCHOOL HERE!!!!
Applied to start school here in September 2017. Withdrew from my program a month before school started since I got an offer at a different school. Staff seem to be very unorganized and unwilling to help. From the start I have emailed several times to different departments inquiring about the program and OSAP. No one EVER replies. Now I am getting the run around to cancel my OSAP. I am so glad I'm not attending this school. Take your money elsewhere Seneca and Sheridan are better options and will answer any questions you have promptly.

Worst college in Canada. Greedy institution asks you to pay for online quizzes worth $110 for every course you take. Considers text books authored and published by themselves to derive more profits. Intakes a lot of students without guaranteed courses. Enroll if you want to mess up your career.

Easily one of the most racist schools to attend if you're black. The teachers treat you with disrespect and completely screw with your grades EVEN if you know exactly what you're doing. This school portrays modern day racism and the funny thing is is that it's from POC. Other races that aren't even white.. This school is great for you if you're brown or asian but if you are black just take your chances somewhere else.

This college was horrible! The people were rude and so were the instructors. The instructors did not know how to teach and were horribly under qualified for the position. There was one professor however, who was qualified since she also taught at U of T. Her name was Shawna.

Some instructors do not speak English very well and the customer service is horrible. They are rather arrogant. One time, I asked an instructor for help. Her name was Mohammadi, Fouroozan. I was crying since she would not help me and she laughed in my face as I was crying. I will not forget this!!! DO NOT TAKE CLASSES WITH HER. She is rude and will not care about you.

If an instructor is qualified, why would that instructor laugh at a student asking for help? There was an obese physical education teacher teaching how to stay fit and healthy. This college left a horrible taste in my mouth. I was happy to graduate and leave. I never want to look back at that place again or revisit it.

SAVE YOUR MONEY AND GO ELSEWHERE. Plenty of universities offer better degrees or diplomas. DO NOT WASTE YOUR MONEY HERE. YOU WILL REGRET IT.

(BTW, most of the reviewers giving this place 5 stars are employers themselves from Centennial college. They know that this school lacks quality but they are giving it good ratings so that you come to their campus to take courses. DO NOT BE FOOLED).

This is a college that offers many diplomas to upgrade your existing skill set (court clerk, law clerk, paralegal) or general interest courses (machinery, motocycle.) The professors are experts in their field but most importantly, personable and caring about their students. The administrative staff is helpful and patient with queries.

Horrable experience, centennial just need big freaking amount of money from international students. Dear centennial, if you want to enrol student in different campus for only one course please run shuttle busses . I you can t run shuttle then tell your teachers to co-oprate with students. Why the hell you enrol student if all you just care is to fail those students? Why the hell your professors are so freaking strict? You might don t have any idea that how hard is international student s life is. You have maximum of stupid professors and i have many names of good professors also. What is the main motive of GNED? You can just give GNED 500 in course. Why there is no guidance to international student that you have these courses to do? Why there are all different departments to run in between? Why the credit of previous seamsters which I don t use I cannot use in next sem? If you guys have limited seats available in classes then don t enrol students more then that limit.
Thanks.

While the college has some amazing professors teaching, the service given to international students are terrible. College takes forever to issue graduation letters where as all other Ontario colleges have already issued theirs. Students face so many issues with applying for work permits and also issues with their current employers because of this. Further some programs taught are irrelevant to what the students major in such as Introduction to Computers for Hospitality students. The content is about networking and software which has no relevancy to what they are learning. I understand if the content is about Microsoft Office packages instead of networking which should be learnt by IT students. Utterly disappointed. College even charges students the FULL tuition fee for CO-OP term where as I personally know students from other colleges who do not pay for tuition during CO-OP. Unfortunately would never recommend this college to anyone else.

The ABSOLUTE WORST school I have ever attended for post secondary education. Customer service is horrible, the employees at the "hub" don't even know how to properly assist you. I was placed in a completely unrelated program from the program I wanted to be in and had previously attended the semester before.. HOW THE HELL DOES A SCHOOL THAT HAS THOUSANDS OF DOLLARS UNDER THEIR BELT MAKE A MISTAKE LIKE THAT!?! practically every single employee their is incompetent and I have no idea how they are employed. I enjoyed the Law Clerk program for the most part, but definitely not a school worth going to. RUN WHILE YOU CAN! You will definitely kick yourself for picking this school. I know I am....

Absolutely and utterly incompetent admission staffing. The admission representatives handling this criteria left me for well over a month in radio silence and ended up outright IGNORING and blocking my emails after requesting further information on the process of furthering my admission.

0/5 do not recommend and will NOT attend.

Its a decent college but definitely can be better if staff was more productive and helpful. I graduated from here and was suppose to go back for my transcript but I had to wait for a good hour before any staff paid attention to me. I'm sure we all have better things to do than wait around for people to give them what they need for more than a reasonable time. Staff support really needs to be worked on.

I'm rating 3 stars because till now I'm not a part of this college but one thing that I know is the college doesn't respond to any of my messages. I have messaged them on facebook, where they have written that they will reply within a week but it's almost been a week and I haven't got a response. I have emailed the college but to no avail.

The food within the campus includes subway, pizza pizza, smokes poutine, Tim Horton. The gym is very clean and well maintain. In September 2015 I signed up for an FFIC distance learning course to commence in Feb 2016. When Feb rolled around, I could not access course materials on the site. After a few weeks, I called Administration and after some run-around, they admitted to cancelling the course by accident and failed to notify me.

I asked to move the course to Fall 2016 instead. Administration asked for me to pay the difference (!!), so I escalated to Dean Michell DeCoste.

Decoste said I should see the registration by June 2016 into the course with no additional fees. I was satisfied. Until August rolled around.

I have yet to be enrolled and have not received any communications from Administration. My attempts to connect with them have not been successful. I am so disappointed in this College.

I've been in this college for 2 years and all i can say that its not worth it.Ive completed two programs from Business and I.T dept. The professors dont help and the pressure of assignments is unbearable.Plus 75% of the college students are punjabis so i need not explain any further. The only positive is the amenities like gym etc is available but given the packed schedule in centennial, nobody has time for gym and other activities. Overall i would rate this college below average.

Just a word of warning to anyone thinking of going to Centennial College's Progress Campus.

I have a lot of issues with this school, but these are a few of them.

Weekend hours are terrible. 7am - 5pm. Even the University of Toronto Scarborough campus is open until at least 12am.

They got rid of exams. This sounds great but all it means is that you have the same amount of course expectations put into a 14 week period instead of a 16 week period. In other words all your assignments and tests are worth a lot more, with less opportunity for you to catch up if you fall behind, and less time available if you want to catch up.

Computers on campus are frequently slow and often don't actually have the software you need actually installed on their hard drives (they use some kind of network system to log you into these programs). This just slows down everything. If you choose the wrong network (what each one does isn't explained anywhere) then you don't have access to the software you need. In some cases this can be as simple as not having access to Microsoft Office.

Photocopying on campus is archaic. You'd think you could (in this day and age) just put money on your student card (since it has a bar code) and then just swipe any of the printers on campus if you want to photocopy something. Nope. You either have to put money onto your account online and then manually put in your student # and password at the printer (the machines they use to do this are garbage and often not anywhere near eye level) or you have to get a print card from the library. Honestly, the system they are using here is woefully outdated.

The wireless printing system they have on campus is a joke. You can't select to have the pages you are printing be in colour, double sided, or have multiple slides printed on one page. In other words you basically can only print single sided pages with it. If the whole point of wireless printing is to make it convenient for students why not at the very least have some basic functionality in the program you are using to do it? Computers on campus are often broken as well, making it difficult at times to get technical work done.

Finally, the food choices in and around campus are terrible. There is campus food (which by itself is just garbage) and then there is a McDonalds and a Tim Hortons close to campus. Past that though the selection is pretty grim.

I probably wouldn't have came to this school if i knew this mandatory Global Citizenship class was actually liberal studies. Its an extremely biased and unnecessary class which should not be mandatory, it made my experience in this school far less enjoyable. I only stayed here because the profs for my actual program were very good. Other than that awful Global Citizenship class, the school has been decent.
