If you look, the only 5 star reviews are left by employees, which I'm sure they were "encouraged" to do. Worst business experience I have ever had. I had to use them for school. Their website was constantly down or the links were broken. All of my classmates had the same experience. They send all our private medical records to 3rd parties. I highly recommend that schools look elsewhere when looking for a program to verify their student's records.
Wasted my time. I ordered a product through them and was instructed to go take my test by their website only to be turned away at the site because Castle Branch didn't complete the order before telling me to arrive. It's taking over 2 days for a digital system to put through a simple order.
I had to use them for a school program 6 years ago and they still email me constantly and it's actually impossible to unsubscribe.
Just like everyone else said on here this company is absolutely TERRIBLE to do business with. How any institution or university could trust them with any information, especially pertaining to sensitive information like background checks and digital vaccine IDs, is beyond me!
Used castle branch and it is awful. They did a story about how it s the top 10 background check company. Star news doesn t state that students are forced to use it. Most of the time it doesn t work. You can t close an account so you keep getting emails. I met Brett and his wife and they are the most unwelcoming people I have ever met.
If you are considering this company for your needs, run away quickly! I have never seen such poor customer service and absolute disregard for their customers by a company. The service is slow, the background checks are not accurate, and the ongoing reminders are never correct. When you need to upload, the service is down, and it is extremely frustrating for instructors, students, and clinical managers. Do not use this horrible service. It is so cumbersome and outdated that it won't meet your needs and just become more frustrating than helpful.
I'm a former employee of 4 years, and can honestly say this is the worst job I've ever had. The HR department is run by petty people who go on power-trips. The goals set for employees are unrealistic and they'll get rid of you even if you spent years with them.
If you're a client or student that has to go through this place, I'm so sorry. You'll pay a lot for a lengthy and painful experience. I wish more schools and employers choose a different place to work with. Try to avoid this place at all costs, if you are able to.
I worked here and I fear for anyone who is required to get a background check through them. Accuracy is not their priority!
Poor website design that always had problems. Emailed them multiple times about the way they could improve it with no practical changes over the last several years. Forced to use this company by my school and think that it'd be better off if they took the Castlebranch fee they charge us and made it into a competitive scholarship for a student to organize and obtain this info from students. If you are a school administrator looking for a solution for student data, look elsewhere.
