Hostess was not welcoming at all. She stated there was a 45 min wait. She should have directed us to the take away but we found it and a table on our own. My sandwich was soggy bread, soggy wilted lettuce. Pasta barely had tomatoes and spinach, not good. Take away counter lady was unfriendly. She never greeted us nor thanked us for our business. AND, their prices are over the top! Panera is always freshly made and you get a 'side' with a sandwich. Cyd's did not even include a bag of chips. Never returning.

I haven't been to this place since it's previous location in Junction City and I am in LOVE with this new spot! The park setting is beautiful and the outdoor seating area is super cool! Lots of cool artwork and fun lights. The food was so delicious and fresh! I tried the market sampler and it was awesome and so fresh! This is my new favorite Peoria establishment. Hoping to return soon for the live music!

First visit to Cyd's was on a Wednesday, on which they serve only soups and grilled cheese sandwiches. We were a bit disappointed to hear that, but we weren't for long! The soups were delicious and a generous sized bowl. For a couple extra bucks you can add many interesting and unique toppings to your soup, and there are four grilled cheese choices-both that we tried were very tasty. On our way out, we each picked out a treat from the dessert case. We each cringed a little when the total for two dessert bars was $12, but again we were happily wrong: they were worth every penny! So good! I'll definitely go back!

I went there today for lunch with friends to catch up. This place attracts a trendy crowd and has a plethora of fun and flavorful items to purchase in the store area as well. The lunch I went with was the first burger on the list, ( sorry, just a thing I do) a black and blue burger. It was worth every cent I payed for it, you could tell they used quality meat in their patties and the blue cheese was authentic and mouthwatering. They also have a private party area for buisness lunches and dinners. The deli/ grab and go menu is off the charts original and to die for, they have it all! From baked goods to burgers, sandwiches, dips, gourmet side dishes, snacks, and craft brews. I also took a moment to grab a cup of regular Joe, the only way to actually enjoy the atmosphere of any sit and social and gauge the barista, it was very relaxing. From meeting with friends to grabbing a laptop from work to change the scenery from that office to a trendy silent crowd next to a with a cup of joe, this place is a win. 10 outta 10 I would go again!

Not impressed at all. Manager needs to amend things otherwise I will recommend to NOT go here to all of my associates located in the business world in Iowa, Illinois, Minnesota, and Colorado.

Our waitress brought out an incorrect order. Instead of fixing it, the waitress wasted time trying to figure out whose order was the second order of a gluten free bun burger. Instead of remaking the order, they told her she "had to eat it because someone had to have ordered it" even though our wedding party was three full long tables, generating hundreds of dollars in business in a single time frame.

I spoke to the manager and he said he would talk to the kitchen to see what he could do. They brought out a meal for her to eat later.

So not only did she not get to eat with her family on the night before their son's wedding, she gets a free (after it is heated and flavor is erased after warming it up in a microwave.)

Awful service. Mediocre food that is just as unhealthy and not as good as Culver' s. DO NOT GO HERE. After the "resolution," that was made, I do not think the waitress or manager apologized once and the manager did not come by the table.

What a pathetic establishment. What a poor excuse for service. I managed a 5 million dollar CVS store in Des Moines, and one thing I learned is that good customer service is necessary to live in a world where you can get food delivered to your door.

What an awful experience. I will not be going back unless there is any sort of reconciliation for this trip. Many people WILL NOT be back. I got my family to stop purchasing Barilla products since the owner donates to anti-gay corporations and political figures.

I have an influence, thankfully- so please reconcile this.

Also, as a different waitress just now as I was writing this, came around, clearly was looking at my phone screen and then went to her other waitress friend.

The time was from 6:30 to 9 PM that I was there. And it really was nothing more special than dairy queen. Which would have easily been a better dinner than these, even though I'm lactose intolerant. That is how not tastful the food was. Maybe it was it because it got cold so quick trying to chase down a waitress who could handle "making it right" in a situation. And this was a total wrong.

Hundreds of dollars to your establishment, and this is how we are treated? We are told to "just eat it."

So kind, so hospitable and accommodating. (Sarcasm.)

Here is picture of my meh-meal. Meaning it was not special at all. Or good. Great idea but needs better service.

I remember this place when it was in junction city and the new location is a big improvement. The restaurant is in Donovan Parka within a park building but it s totally renovated using rustic decor combined with modern elements making this a cute hip spot to enjoy people watching. The food prices are on the hig side but well worth it for a unique hip experience.

Well where to begin, the food is mediocre at best and much over priced, everything from my request to have my bread toasted being shot down, to the dirty water glasses let me know that this place sure was A1. Not only that, the staff is just rude. The older larger lady especially, who denied my request for toasted bread. Do not get the green lemonade unless you like liquid celery. I am much more satisfied with Novu, next door. I will not be back to this establishment.

Ruby: I had a beautiful cheese plate.

Cyd's is inside a renovated former municipal golf course. Very nice. Food was fresh and flavorful. The turkey club was excellent, as was the chili.

Cyd (owner and head chef) was kind enough to come out and tell us about the different cheeses on the cheese plate and ask how our meals were. Very friendly and passionate person :)

Jami: classic BLT with a basil mayo twist. Tomato bisque soup was dreamy.

Depending on which employee you deal with the service varies, but, Cyd herself is very nice. I enjoy the food and love the menu variety, there are not many cafes in the Peoria area that offer the items that Cyd's does, such as fruit tarts and macaroons. The smoothies here are great and everything I've eaten from here has been tasty. Some of the servings are small but, honestly it just depends on what you get but, I've never walked away hungry.

The customer service at this restaurant is awful!! If I could have given it a ZERO star I would have!! Stood in line for a good 10mins holding my food I wanted to purchase while the girls behind the register just stood there and chatted it up!! I even made direct eye contact with them so they would get the idea that I wanted to check out and they continue to stand there and talk and completely ignore me!!! I Will make everyone I know is aware of the situation so no one ever goes there again this is unacceptable!!!

My partner and I had lunch here today. The outside area is nice and we enjoyed listening to the live music. The food was really good and the sweet potato fries were probably some of the best I have ever had. However, the service was awful. We waited almost 20 minutes before our server came to our table, after about three different servers walked passed us a couple times. The place was a little busy, but they seemed to have enough servers working to cover the crowd. I am not sure if there was some miscommunication, but the service should have been better. I would be willing to try it out again as the food and atmosphere was good.

Such a comfortable yet modern place to eat! The food was great (I personally recommend the turkey burger) and the staff was friendly. The restaurant is nice for sit-down dining (inside or outside) and the market is great for a cup of coffee and piece of cake. No matter which side of the building you visit, I highly recommend checking it out!

Beautiful eclectic interior with a great outdoor space with games and a fire pit. Full service bar with great cocktails and I've never had food I didn't love from there. They're eco friendly too with washable, reusable napkins in the bathrooms which I really love about this place.

$24.95 for a salad in a box, a bottle of cheap water, a small latte and an overpriced cookie. The outdoor seating is scattered around under trees and seemed pleasant until I looked down and found a tick on my arm. The parking lot, restrooms, and sidewalks are in need of an update. I won't be returning.

There s one good thing about Cyds. They have a really great server there named Tom who understands and appreciates the importance of customer service. He shines and makes up for the lack of customer service we have received in the last 3 times I have attempted to spend my money there.

Typical response from Cyds. Unprofessional with no degree of customer service. Sad sad sad.
I also never threatened anyone. I never raised my voice. I only spoke to Keith and both of us were very calm in our interaction. He was making a genuine effort to accommodate us.
It s wasn t until you said no to serving us on the gravel table that another person in the party got upset, but no one was ever threatened.

One of my favorite places for lunch in the summer because of the outdoor seating. A great place to have a quick bite before walking through the park with my dog. Great healthy food options and gluten free options as well. Great bread too. One of the few good bars in town with creative, craft cocktails. Service could be better. I often have to wave employees over to get their attention, even on non-busy days, but that's pretty normal for all places that seat outdoors.
