We are new to the state and decided that we needed a real tree since we live in Maine now. We had drove by here on our way to the farm up the road. We ended up coming back here and so glad we did! Their selection of Christmas trees were so much better than the cut your own tree up the road and the pricing was amazing!! One of the guys even tied to our roof. So helpful. We know where we will be getting our tree next year!

This place is frankly dangerous. Beware if you go in for a "plant or two". If you are anything like me, you will suddenly realize 3 hours have passed as you browsed their amazing greenhouses and that, "a plant or two" turned into, "I am going to completely re-landscape my yard." Extremely helpful staff. Incredible selection. Beautiful and healthy plants. I cannot say enough about it.

I hate having to give someone a bad review because the service was great...but ...but, this is NOT a place to get a Christmas tree
We got ours on the second weekend of Christmas(15th or 16th?) and the needles are falling BIG time! I m wondering if it will be bare by Christmas It took its first drink, but the water level hasn t moved since..so very disappointed..wish I could get out money back.

I absolutely love this greenhouse. Their houseplant selection is top notch even in the middle of winter. I found a r. Tetrasperma here and a calathea rattlesnake (lancifolia) here, too, and the staff was super helpful and sweet. The prices are amazing too. I really recommend if you re a houseplant enthusiast like myself!

The staff here are super friendly, happy to help you with anything and have put my mind at ease with projects numerous times. It can be a little hard to distinguish between who works here and who doesn't at first, but regardless, customers and staff alike are super friendly and helpful. The selection and layout also cannot be beat!! Prices are appropriate for such a well staffed and well stocked place.

We went here for a Christmas tree last night, great selection and the best prices we have seen this season (out of the 5 places we looked). Very helpful staff! They carried, cut and loaded the tree for us! They also fitted our tree to a matching stand. We were in and out in under ten minutes! I would highly recommend!

I've done allot of business with Broadway Gardens in Westbrook, Rt. 302. Their quality and service is wonderful, but I do have a problem with this last order of 3 yards of mulch at $174.07 which includes delivery. The mulch is fine, but customer service gives me mixed reactions! I questioned the price of delivery. I bought 5 gift cards back in March. On the receipt it said........CALL BEFORE THIS INDIVIDUAL CAN BE CRANKY. (FYI) The customer can't be always right, but they sure can question the price of what they are buying. Carol Coffin

I went to the Broadway Gardens on Saturday, December 23 at 7pm, looking for a last minute Christmas tree for my mom. My mom is 101 and is.very sick and doesn't have a long time left.
I decided that she should have one more real Christmas tree.
The guys working outside were wonderful they helped me pick out the prettiest tree that they had, they brought it inside in front of the stove and dried it out and tied it on to the roof of my car. When I went to pay them they refused to take any money and said that any lady 101 shouldn't have to pay for a Christmas tree, then as I left they brought out a Poinsettia plant and again wouldn't take any money for it.
My mom loves the Christmas tree and says it's by far the prettiest tree that she's ever had. It's lifted her spirits and she's doing much better now than she was a week ago.
Thank you Broadway Gardens

I recently visited for the first time and quickly realized I'd been sorely missing out by going to the big box stores, which are slightly closer to me. The selection and quality of plants are amazing -- especially for perennials and shade garden plants. I could have spent hours there. The staff know what they are talking about. It's *slightly* more expensive than the big box stores (like $1 more for a 1-gallon perennial), but the plants here are larger and healthier, and many have been grown locally -- which makes it worthwhile, in my view. My only suggestion would be to add a section specifically for Maine native plants so that those of us interested in planting native varieties can see them all together!
