Amazing pulled pork sandwich. Had it with their house BBQ sauce, caramelized onions and coleslaw. I wish they gave some more onions and coleslaw, but otherwise, one of the best sandwiches I've had in Toronto. There wasn't enough space to sit down and eat, but I will definitely go back to try their different sauces and meats.

If you haven't done so already, COME HERE.

The sandwiches are very flavourful and very filling!

I suggest the
Slow Roasted Beef Brisket + BC BBQ Sauce (7.50)
&
Veggie Sandwich + Pesto Mayo (7.00)
=
Cut each in half and enjoy a half each with a friend.

You will not be disappointed. It's right across from Rosedale station and it's the best lunch decision you'll make all week.

Great lunch place, can''t go wrong with any of their 3 sandwiches. my favorite is the brisket, and their pulled chicken is surprisingly good.

they have a array of toppings but i like mine simple with only a sauce, any sauce on the menu is good.

For the price and how filling it is you can't go wrong.

Decent sandwiches if you like meat however they treat their employees horribly.

I cannot continue to provide them business knowing how they operate. If you support workers rights, I don t recommend this place.

They give our trial periods where they don t pay, their management has been awful and they ve hired people without needing them, thus giving them 0 shifts.

Only the best sandwich shop in Toronto! The most delicious pulled pork, braised beef, and chicken sandwiches. Prices can add up with all the extras, but it's worth it once in awhile. Very small location, some outdoor patio seating right outside of Rosedale station. Expect that if you come here at lunch, you will be waiting in a 20-person line up. Call ahead to make your order and then just pick it up (menu online). Also a great little pit stop for a breakfast sandwich, simple coffee, and amazing banana bread.

I had a Brisket Sandwich with red onions and coleslaw along with a small chili. The sandwich is excellent. The brisket is tender, and the sauces mashed well with the onions and slaw. I'd prefer some more slaw for some more crunch, and a toasted or warmed bun to go with the sandwich; otherwise the sandwich itself is excellent for the price. Chili was good too. It has a hearty punch that will keep your guts warm in winter.

The food here is great.

Exit Rosedale station and prepare to drop just over $8 for a sandwich. It sounds mad, but believe me it's worth it.

We came for what was touted to be the best pulled pork sandwich in Toronto, and followed the advice to take it with their signature BBQ sauce, caramelised onions and mushrooms, and it was every bit as delicious as expected.

As we hung around, we noticed everyone popping in to get takeaway beef brisket sandwiches - with the same combination of BBQ sauce, caramelised onions, and mushrooms. We were curious, so we tried, and the brisket is the most tasty, juicy, well balanced brisket sandwich we've ever tasted.

The food is delicious, the staff are hip and fun, and well worth the price. There's not much room to hang about and eat on site, and most people prefer the take-away option anyway it seems.

The story seems to go that the owner's family has connections to "Zum Schwarzen Kameel" (At the Black Camel) in Austria, but the parent restaurant is nothing like this little thing. By the number of people popping in and out, and the number of orders, they must be doing something right, and I can imagine franchises popping up around the place in the not too distant future!

Hot spot for succulent beef brisket sandwiches. The pulled pork is popular too. Can be pretty busy at lunch time, so expect to wait in line for a bit but the line moves quickly. Some seating available, but crowded. Might be better to take it to go. Service is always nice and friendly.

Really really filling and delicious sandwiches. The pulled pork and beef brisket are amazing. The staff are awesome and easy going even though its always lined up out the door. The location is small. I usually take it to go and eat in the park as it is a little claustrophobic in there during the lunch rush.

Few weeks back I stopped in to Black Camel for Lunch. I have heard from a few friends that the sandwiches here are to die for.
I opted to try the Slow Roasted Beef Brisket Sandwich. This was no small sandwich. The size was bigger than I expected for the price. Only $8.75 and you had a large kaiser roll full of tender goodness. You got a choice of two sauces and I went with the in house Black Camel BBQ sauce and the Chiptole Mayo.
The meat was super tender and melted in your mouth. Paired with the two sauces made it slightly messy but well worth it.
I will definitely be back to try the other sandwiches on the menu. If your near Rosedale station and are hungry stop in at Black Camel you won't be disappointed. Thanks for reading. :)
