A small but modern airport that is learning quickly how to deal with large volumes of people, but not quite quickly enough in arrivals because the queues are so long they blend together beyond the minimal barriers and make it extremely confusing which queue one may actually be in and who might in fact be in front of you. Much of the time the combined queue goes out the exterior door as a single mass and it's impossible for those outside to know what is going on or even if they are in the right place! Fortunately things moved fairly quickly and no one got upset.

Scandalous experience, as always disappointing us, parking 2, payment is not when you come out but there is a counter that if you have not been hard to find before, the "security" guard instead of taking unaccompanied luggage, it was full 15 mins to ask each person at the airport who they are. Let's not talk about scandalous ticket prices, unprofessional behavior of employees, etc, etc etc!

This airport is small but i never had any issues going through. Prices are high like any other airport. The only problem I have is smoking area. Yes it is separate area but when doors open, which open often the smoke comes in no smoke area. Wifi never worked for me.

Still one of the best airports in region. Great to have such a large airport in one building. Smart structure of the wings with gates. Everything is well taken care of. They improved the queuing for security checks. Good shopping. Lots of restrooms and always clean. Restaurants are pretty good and prices acceptable.

below average services, internet connection very poor (even in the business lounge!), passport checks takes too much time (agents were chatting at their phone instead to be faster), no well-organized... no fingers connected to the airplanes... still a lot to do to become an international airport as Tirana deserves.

Small, clean but should have a clear sign for airport bus stop and also the schedule. My bus departs from the airport at 6.40 p.m. Though the airport website indicates that every hour at 7, 8, 9 and onward. The airport bus stop is orange color.
Vodafone 10G for 1,300 lek (14 days)and 1 G for 1, 000 lek.

The Tirana airport is a small but clean building, not a whole lot to mention. There are shuttle buses leaving from Tirana airport to 3 locations. The shuttle stop is about a 250m walk straight from the building once you exit customs (to the left), past the taxi stand. The shuttle comes by once every hour on the hour for Tirana, last one at 19:00 hour if I recall correctly. Other shuttle destination is mid hour. Fare cost is 250Lek or 2.50Euros. Take small bills with you if you're using Euros. Load big luggage at the rear of the bus, and pay the driver once you board (he'll come and collect). There are many stops on route to Tirana but the final stop is at city center near Skanderbeg Square.

Pandemonium on the street at the entrance. They filter people without tickets (accompanying, seeing off). Before entering the interior, disinfection is in the portal, and inside the temperature measurement in another portal. Inside people are average. The racks work the same way. The security check is harsh: they clung to the handle that has been traveling with me since 2006, and no one found fault in any of the 37 countries visited. They wore it for x-ray, they almost broke it, they missed it as a result))) They wanted to take away drinking water from someone, the packaging seemed to be up to 100 ml, they quarreled and beat it off. Passport control didn't even look. Arrival and departure stamps were not put in passports. There is one duty free, a cafe too. In general, fast, but too much with a handle.

Tirana airport from the airports to the wasteful runways where the planes land as if they were pine roads all the shame pits for the company that. it has a concession and shame on the Albanian state that does not offer the minimum conditions for passengers. Kosovo is a new state and has the airport you can compare with EU countries. US ... etc. alas if we pay the minimum taxes and services we are not given this is Albania of 2016

considering the number of passengers it s a very small airport , the fact that you need to be 2hrs early to check in as u can t do it online (no idea why and we are about to enter 2020) it s a bit annoying , clean and polite staff , security up to international standards

After landing, we were admitted from the airport apron into the building in groups of about 20 people. We had to go through a gate which gave us a vinegar haze. At the airport, security personnel check that the masks are on. Wi fi is not working. There is one shop open in the duty free zone, empty. While waiting for the gate to open for 2 hours, I managed to buy only fruit jellies.

Cute as an airport, very clean and well organized; pity that a blonde girl from the check-in staff of the Tirana -Ancona flight today wanted me to pay 25 for the suitcase that in Italy did not say anything and then it was not polite at all practically sucked, I wanted to rub the money but fortunately he couldn't do it. Please put a staff as you must, that speak politely healthy .... Otherwise everything was perfettamente..Grz

Airport is nice and clean but the immigration officers (police) are just horrific.
Am a non-EU national traveling to London with a valid UK residence card . I gave my passport and visa to the border control and the police just take them and dissapear for 20 minutes without any reason and not notifying me of what he is doing letting me waiting there like an idiot... Afterwards he comes without saying any word at all and hands the documents back to me. There is no law going on there. Albania is left in hands of some dumbs who dont even know that they need to explain by immigration act why we have stopped you....
Its just horrific service and racism, not worthy visiting Albania again....
